What’s going on today? Here’s the news:
Newt Gingrich will apparently form an exploratory committee in the next two weeks.
The way her appearance is being promoted in India is actually pretty funny.
Todd Palin explains what happened at the Iron Dog.
She talked to KTUU about the race yesterday.
As for this McClatchy article, I don’t see why anyone is surprised that supporters of Michele Bachmann and other candidates won’t say too many positive things about Governor Palin. There is absolutely no incentive for them to say anything favorable about her because they want their candidate to beat her.
The CNN exit poll conducted on election day of 2010 of actual Republican voters in South Carolina showed her leading Mike Huckabee by a small margin. So she does have a good deal of support in that state. The McClatchy poll cited in the article is dated as even the Daily Kos pollster and Newsweek have shown her a lot closer to Barack Obama. The Gallup poll cited in the article was taken in the immediate aftermath of what transpired in Tucson.
