According to the Washington Post/ABC News, Governor Palin Has More than Tripled Her GOP Primary Support from April

The latest Washington Post/ABC News poll of Republican/Republican-leaning independents shows that support for the Governor has more than tripled since its last poll in April:

Romney 21% (16%)
Palin 17% (5%)
Rudy 8%
Paul 6% (2%)
Gingrich 6% (2%)
Cain 4%
Pawlenty 4% (1%)

The percentage of Republican and Republican-leaning independents who would “strongly consider” voting for her in the primary is equal to Romney’s percentage and over 60% of Republican and Republican-leaning independents would either strongly or somewhat consider voting for her, Rudy, and Romney in the primary.

Her qualified/unqualified number has also improved by a net fifteen points since a low in February of 2010. She still has a long way to go but at least we’re seeing progress.

Yeah, what until she actually gets in. I know Gingrich and Romney are having coronary attacks. They announced exploratory committees months ago and she’s in the top 2?

Yes…Romeny leads Palin by 9 points in South Carolina.

yea, you read that right, SC.

Her movie release will eat up that 9 points. Nikki Haley, the first female governor and who was catapulted by Palin, says Romney still has explaining to do on his healthcare past. She says SC doesn’t want mandated healthcare like MA.

The sad fact most anti-Romney folks, who cling to MassCare as a political bludgeon, is that Romney has NEVER proposed using MassCare as a national plan.. So you or anyone else stating “We don’t want national mandates…” are in total alignment with Romney.

Now I understand that doesn’t jive with your taling points, but those are the facts.

Now considering Romey was in Haley’s corner FIRSTand are longtime friends, she may have some divided loyalties to decided on, before she makes an endorsement.

I wouldn’t presume to speak for anyone but myself and neither should you. Helps keep one from making an ass of themselves later on.

Another sad fact is that you don’t realize people have a legitimate fear of overarching government. I never stated that Romney said he believed in national health insurance.

He has said quite the opposite. But here is the problem: When any government whether local, state or federal mandates a citizen to buy a service or product, liberty erodes and corruption abounds.  Look at states that are not “Right to Work”. Employees are mandated to pay union dues to a union leadership that is not accountable to the members.

It’s SC that doesn’t like this principle that Romney is clinging to. I’m not in SC. It’s liberal MA that elected Scott Brown (Republican) to vote against Obamacare. I’m not from MA. Just because people aren’t falling in love with Romney’s message is not my fault.

This poll  does  not break down the internals  so therefore it is meaningless.   It is a random  sample of 1000  voters.    It does not list r/d/i   and therefore it is meaningless.   Yes the trend is  up  from the last  one  but it  really  doesn’t tell  us  how many  REP  nor Leaning REP.    the  poll could be stacking the1000  subjects with +15 dem  for all we know.   This poll is worthless and was done to push the narrative that Gov Palin is unelectable and Mitt is  the only person that could  have a chance of beating Obama.    the low results for Cain and Bachmann  in the poll tends to support that the poll is weight  to not favor  conservatives.

I would not take  this poll as any indication of the current  facts on the ground besides that  Palin and Mitt  both  got boosts last week.    Everything else is meaningless  because of the lack of internals.

I turned on Hanniity’s radio program while traveling last night for a few minutes; he had Ann Coulter on (she really is a “thinks she knows it all biatch”) - and the news was brought by ABC.  They were stating that Palin had her history wrong regarding what she said about Paul Revere.
That was debunked earlier on and they were still running with it.

I agree, also.  Given the poll sponsor, it would not surprise me in the least that they have deliberately skewed the numbers and still have to admit a tripling of support.

Anyone who has done statistics for a living knows exactly what I am talking about (that was a long, long time ago for me).

Lies, damned lies, statistics, and statistics about Sarah Palin.

The purpose of these “public polls” are release to shape and dispirit the minds of voters. I have heard that the Obama administration has been taking internal polls and they are in panic mode.

These polls they are feeding us is an illusion. They don’t want us to know just how panicked they are. Do you really believe his approval numbers are in the high 40s? James Carville is predicting there will be riots in the streets (like Greece) if the jobs reports don’t get any better.

Oh, BTW, Japan has decided to close down it’s Mazda plant in Michigan and relocate to Hofu, Japan at the end of year. That’s 1800 new unemployment checks in one city.

I wonder if the O administration will give them the South Carolina Boeing treatment.

The Poll is a Bad Poll. Especially on the Head to Head. Complete bullcrap that 42% Repubs ruled out Palin that is rubbish. The ABC and CBS polls are complete bullcrap. My guess is Palin vs. Obama is a Closer  race than McCain vs. Obama which was 7%. This is crap.

Don’t worry about the polls until after “The Undefeated” is released. Sarah is not done getting her message out. Once that happens it will be up to the people. They either get it or they don’t. That’s the way she’s planned it. She has taken the media and the establishment Dems and Repubs out of the equation. She is making sure that this time the people do their homework.

I believe she is trying to put the future of America back in the hands of the people and not the elites in the party machines.

By the time she hits him hard in her commercial advertisements. He’s going down.

All she has to show is video clips of him golfing every weekend.  June jobs report: Golfing.  Navy seals preparing for bin Laden ambush: Senior staff pulling him of the golf course. Michelle’s vacation with 40 friends plus SS.

Did you know, by the way, that they took 3 vacations in the last August (his birthday)?  Spain, then Florida, then 10 days at Martha’s Vineyard!  I wonder how they’ll behave this August.

I don’t know that she has a long way to go. We are in the Matrix you know.

“In the Matrix, there are rules that must be followed. But some of the rules can be stretched. Such as the ones for GOP female presidential primary contestants from Alaska.”  — Morpheus teaching Neo.

She’s perfectly positioned right now, barely in 2nd place. Think about a horse race. You want to be #2, just behind the leader, until the homestretch when you make your move. If you’re the frontrunner you tire at the end (and in the political sense your opponents beat up on you – we’ve already seen it from the Paul camp with his latest anti-Romneycare fundraiser). All she has to do is win the anti-Romney primary. Once she can consolidate her position as THE alternative to Romney, his flip flops and foibles will prevent him from going over 50% and she can win the primary.

Romney gets a different religion in each state he visits. In Iowa, it’s ethanol. In NH, it’s global warming. In MA, it’s universal healthcare only for MA. The media can’t attack Palin on bad policy in Alaska. Romney is on video declaring global warming is manmade. Well if you believe that, it compels you to impede it.

So during a debate he is going to be in jam when he is asked, “What will you do about man-made global warming? Cap-n-Trade?”

There is no good pollster. Fox News has one of the most liberal polling firms do their polls Opinion Dynamics. Fox News’ polls had Kerry beating Bush on Election Day. There is No Straight Up Poll. I would love to see a Activist Conservative Polling Outfit like a Right Wing PPP that could tout their polls all over places like Hotair and Big Government and Red State, I think that is something Conservatives lack. We don’t peddle propoganda polls that are fixed by Liberal/Progressive Activists.

      I totally agree.

Put together a couple of conservative and moderate democrat statistics-professors and set up NPS (Neutral Polling Statistics) or something that is NON-profit and created by some of the GOP PACs including one or two Dem PACs. Make them the standard-bearers of professional neutral polling-numbers.
