      Baldwin did not endorse Romney.  He said Romney had the Ken-doll looks which would appeal to stupid Republicans.  He predicted that Romney would win the nomination, but he does not support him in the presidential election.

      Baldwin is too far in the Hollywood bubble to realize that Sarah Palin will be the nominee, not Romney, so he’s started his partisan attacks now anticipating that Mittens will be Obama’s main challenge.  He and Hollywood are, I would guess, in for a rude awakening.

          For the record, royroyo, John Norton is unfairly questioning a few pro palin people here as “trolls”.  He did that to ReaganPalin on Friday night. I was attacked as a “hack” by him in the comment section of a Barbaric Thoughts blog piece,several days ago, when I went after a real troll there, claiming to be an “appalled Alaskan”.

      Overall a very positive article from the manager of the Gore campaign and frequent Democrat commentator on CNN and ABC Sunday show. I have watched her over the past couple of years on those networks and she does not take shots at Gov. Palin. The quote at the end of the article was an insightful one:

      “Here’s what you should know and respect about Palin. She’s tenacious, self-assured, focused and extremely likely to toss her hat into the ring when the timing is right because, unlike the other Republican presidential candidates, her potential candidacy is not tied to the conventional calendar or the mood swings of the other party leaders.”

        I have found Liberals tend to fall into a few categories (and cross-over at times):

        1) Those that fear Gov. Palin because they can see she’s the REAL DEAL and she embodies the characteristics of the majority of Americans.  This group continually attack her for anything and everything in their attempts to destroy her.  Their worse nightmare is having her go up against Obama in 2012.

        2) Those that TRULY believe that Gov. Palin is an idiot and would be the perfect candidate to go up against Obama in 2012.  This group will not know what hit them when this exact scenario plays out in 2012, and will have a rude awakening when they realize their preconceived notions about Gov. Palin are false.

        3) Those that are waking up and finally admitting rather grudgingly that Gov. Palin is a strong, charismatic leader who not only embodies the characteristics of most Americans, but is politically shrewd and intelligent.  They are now admitting (rather grudgingly) that she could easily beat Obama if she is the GOP nominee.

        Donna Brazi attended one of those events that bring dems and republicans together to give speeches.  Gov. Palin was the last one to give a speech and of course had the most in attendance (sold out)  and most of the dems that were there attended.

        Brazi was one that watched Gov. Palin’s speech and watched the crowd and understands the power of Palin.

    This has always stuck with me:

    Mike Wallace, the father of Chris Wallace in the 1960′s, interviewed ladies who worked with Margaret  Sanger in developing the birth control pill. I will never forget their lament that it was being used by single women to facilitate promiscuous sexual activity, that they had worked so hard to bring “the pill” to fruition to help mothers and fathers to plan how many children they would have.

    In other words “the pill” was being used for purposes that the pioneers of it had not envisioned.

    A prime example of the law of unintended consequences.

      Uh, I totally disagree. The founder knew exactly what her intentions were. The message to lower level staff is sophistry and emotionalism. 
       
      Take the abortion issue: We are told that clinics are safer than a back room alley. They offer options like adoptions and social services. All of these are very false. 
       
      The whistleblower director who quit after having a spiritual conversion said the main discussion in executive meetings was money. They were trying to think of ways to get more appointments.

    This has not been brought up for a long. long time at C4P but Governor Sarah Palin does believe a woman, even a young woman, has a right to use contraception to prevent pregnancy. Thus she is pro-contraception.

    It is a myth that Sarah Palin believes only in abstinence to prevent pregnancy.

      Thank you, techno. This was one of the many lies told about Sarah in 2008, and it still shows up in cartoons and blog comments, solely based on her advocating that abstinence should be  included in sex education programs in schools. Her critics, of course, turned that into her advocating “abstinence only” programs, which she never has.

      That’s a good point, but I think the issue that concerns non-conservatives is her position on abortion. She is pro-life, but how would she translate that belief into action on legislation, or would she? It’s a non-issue for me personally, but I’m sure a lot of people would like to hear her thinking on the matter.

        She has a record in Alaska so we can see what effect her personal convictions would do on a national level as well.  At least with her, we don’t have to wonder.
        My gut feeling is that she will be a strong proponent of states’ rights on many of the social issues as well as other issues.  In education, for instance, she feels parents should themselves have the most imput on how their children are taught…that most decisions should be made on a local level.  She did not try to impose her values on voters like our present dictator tries to do.  When she says:  “WE THE PEOPLE”, she means it.

It Isn’t perfect, but its a damn good attempt at perfection. The problem with the constitution is that is was hammered out with genuine reason and humility. Remarkably this recognition of human weakness came ironically from an aristocratic type class of individuals. Tyranny will humble most honest men. LOL..

        I’ve come to understand generally that the greatest single weakness in man is vanity, and vanity is a character or quality. Within this lies the lust for power.

                Her pointing out a surprising observation from the enemy camp is not the same thing as saying she “trusts” them. I despise Brazile for being a prominent obama-enabler, but that doesn’t mean she can’t get something right once in a while. And in this one column she has.

          Donna Brasile was photographed with Bristol at an event recently, the WH Correspondents’ Dinner I think.  Putting that together with this article, she is going to get some heat from the Obama campaign guys.  She is a super-partisan, so maybe she’s trying to set herself up as a Palin expert to get a spot in the Obama re-election campaign.- Or, maybe she’s more of a feminist than a democrat anymore.  Regardless, it was a fair article and that’s good.

    A couple things I’ve been thinking about:
    1. The One Nation tour is funded by SarahPAC. I am so thrilled how SarahPAC money is being spent.
    2. How long does it take to design, manufacture and install vinyl graphics? The tour wasn’t spur-of-the-moment.
    3. How long does it take to close on a house, even if you pay cash?
    So when you think she’s “laying low”, or taking a break, think again.

      #2–With computer graphics, not that long to design.  Manufacturing is also pretty easy.  Installation probably took the longest given the large size of the vehicle.  I would say 1-2 weeks.
      #3–I’ve bought houses myself (for rentals) and though I don’t know what Arizona law requires, generally you have to do title searches, determine payoff amounts on any existing mortgages, do all the paperwork.  Probably 30 days.

      The Greta bus interview says that Sarah and Todd do not own the house — an investment company does. They probably own the investment company but it is a distinction.

      I wonder if Sarah when she is on the road will go to the border states as a fact finding mission to see first hand, all the facts, and work on solutions. This issue always gets bumped it comes around then is buried again, but it a National Security issue, and Sarah is huge when it comes to National security.
