Mittens got Alec Baldwin’s endorsement. He’s doomed already.

Actually, that’s real news:  Alec Baldwin endorsing a Republican.

      • Anonymous

        He’s endorsing Mitt.  There’s a difference.

Alec Baldwin?   OMG – Willard is toast now!

    • Anonymous

Baldwin did not endorse Romney.  He said Romney had the Ken-doll looks which would appeal to stupid Republicans.  He predicted that Romney would win the nomination, but he does not support him in the presidential election.

Baldwin is too far in the Hollywood bubble to realize that Sarah Palin will be the nominee, not Romney, so he’s started his partisan attacks now anticipating that Mittens will be Obama’s main challenge.  He and Hollywood are, I would guess, in for a rude awakening.

        • Hefmier

For the record, royroyo, John Norton is unfairly questioning a few pro palin people here as "trolls".  He did that to ReaganPalin on Friday night. I was attacked as a "hack" by him in the comment section of a Barbaric Thoughts blog piece, several days ago, when I went after a real troll there, claiming to be an "appalled Alaskan".

          • Hefmier

I double checked the post from Friday night that I referenced, and he also went after at least 3 other commenters that are very likely Pro Palin, like Jules.

Overall a very positive article from the manager of the Gore campaign and frequent Democrat commentator on CNN and ABC Sunday show. I have watched her over the past couple of years on those networks and she does not take shots at Gov. Palin. The quote at the end of the article was an insightful one:

"Here’s what you should know and respect about Palin. She’s tenacious, self-assured, focused and extremely likely to toss her hat into the ring when the timing is right because, unlike the other Republican presidential candidates, her potential candidacy is not tied to the conventional calendar or the mood swings of the other party leaders."

I have found Liberals tend to fall into a few categories (and cross-over at times):

        1) Those that fear Gov. Palin because they can see she’s the REAL DEAL and she embodies the characteristics of the majority of Americans.  This group continually attack her for anything and everything in their attempts to destroy her.  Their worse nightmare is having her go up against Obama in 2012.

        2) Those that TRULY believe that Gov. Palin is an idiot and would be the perfect candidate to go up against Obama in 2012.  This group will not know what hit them when this exact scenario plays out in 2012, and will have a rude awakening when they realize their preconceived notions about Gov. Palin are false.

        3) Those that are waking up and finally admitting rather grudgingly that Gov. Palin is a strong, charismatic leader who not only embodies the characteristics of most Americans, but is politically shrewd and intelligent.  They are now admitting (rather grudgingly) that she could easily beat Obama if she is the GOP nominee.

Donna Brazi attended one of those events that bring dems and republicans together to give speeches.  Gov. Palin was the last one to give a speech and of course had the most in attendance (sold out)  and most of the dems that were there attended.

Brazi was one that watched Gov. Palin’s speech and watched the crowd and understands the power of Palin.

        • Anonymous

Palin has the same power Reagan did; it’s an intangible power that draws people in.  It’s a gift from God and it’s more than just charisma..  We know a leader when we see one.

No worry Wod, I will email Fox. If CW  mimics OReilly’ nasty habit, I will suggest he takes good manners lesson. Then I will share with  to him the much improved results of our German Sheppard dog after he had lessons to mind his manners. Really it worked and I don"t regret spending on that.

He should also consult OReilly what it did to him after the gov told OR to mind his manners, I don’t know if he is still on time out from the gov. Notice she has not appeard since. BO is still pouting and not happey. Don’t care  and Idon’t give a rats arse either.

Good Morning C4P. Really looking forward to the interview today. GOD BLESS THE AMERICAN PATRIOT – SARAH !!

This has always stuck with me:

Mike Wallace, the father of Chris Wallace in the 1960′s, interviewed ladies who worked with Margaret  Sanger in developing the birth control pill. I will never forget their lament that it was being used by single women to facilitate promiscuous sexual activity, that they had worked so hard to bring "the pill" to fruition to help mothers and fathers to plan how many children they would have.

In other words "the pill" was being used for purposes that the pioneers of it had not envisioned.

A prime example of the law of unintended consequences.

Good Mornin’ Techno, cudafever.wodiej, wisetrog, royroyo, and 4rcane. Amazing times just ahead, for President Palin and all Americans. I hope that the interview with Chris Wallace took place after the new unemployment numbers came out; if so Governor Palin is going to rip Obummler a new one.

Uh, I totally disagree. The founder knew exactly what her intentions were. The message to lower level staff is sophistry and emotionalism.

Take the abortion issue: We are told that clinics are safer than a back room alley. They offer options like adoptions and social services. All of these are very false.

The whistleblower director who quit after having a spiritual conversion said the main discussion in executive meetings was money. They were trying to think of ways to get more appointments.

Margaret Sanger was an unashamed eugenist.

      • Anonymous

Exactly.  Little Hitler Sanger hated non-whites.

    • Anonymous

Sanger was an evil woman.  She was a vicious racist who supported eugenics–in short, she was a Progressive Democrat.

    • Anonymous

Sanger was no angel, however.  She promoted sterilization of blacks and consorted with the KKK.  But your point is well taken.

      • Anonymous

She was an outspoken proponent of abortion, too.

This has not been brought up for a long. long time at C4P but Governor Sarah Palin does believe a woman, even a young woman, has a right to use contraception to prevent pregnancy. Thus she is pro-contraception.

It is a myth that Sarah Palin believes only in abstinence to prevent pregnancy.

Links that prove it is a myth:

Thank you, techno. This was one of the many lies told about Sarah in 2008, and it still shows up in cartoons and blog comments, solely based on her advocating that abstinence should be  included in sex education programs in schools. Her critics, of course, turned that into her advocating "abstinence only" programs, which she never has.

    • Anonymous

That’s a good point, but I think the issue that concerns non-conservatives is her position on abortion. She is pro-life, but how would she translate that belief into action on legislation, or would she? It’s a non-issue for me personally, but I’m sure a lot of people would like to hear her thinking on the matter.

A fetus has an issue with it. We need a right-to-life amendment which states that life begins at conception and that all life within the jurisdiction is equal in value.

She has a record in Alaska so we can see what effect her personal convictions would do on a national level as well.  At least with her, we don’t have to wonder.
My gut feeling is that she will be a strong proponent of states’ rights on many of the social issues as well as other issues.  In education, for instance, she feels parents should themselves have the most imput on how their children are taught…that most decisions should be made on a local level.  She did not try to impose her values on voters like our present dictator tries to do.  When she says:  "WE THE PEOPLE", she means it.

        1. Stop allocating $350 million to Planned Parenthood every year. They are a lucrative billion dollar industry.
        2. Abortion doctors are relatively non-liable from lawsuits. Malpractice costs incurred on other doctors, specialist or MDs don’t apply to doctors who operate abortion clinics. Empower clients to be able to sue abortion doctors for failure to comply with the law.
        3. Empower the state to make random inspections to abortion clinics like other medical facilities and hospitals.
        4. Prepare women who are intending to have the procedure (there are various kinds depending on the development stage of the baby) watch a 5-10 minute video of the procedure and the after effects.

*In my state we just passed legislation for #3. Unbelievable. Abortion clinics never have inspections done on these facilities. If there was an inspection, inspectors would give them a week warning. My state is discussing #2.

The main difference between the Left and the Right has never been expressed better than in A Conflict of Visions by Thomas Sowell:

"Visions are a sense of the possibilities of human reason and power to act PURPOSEFULLY to achieve desired ends…UNCONSTRAINED VISION sees articulated reason as powerful and potent to shape human society (the Left), a CONSTRAINED VISION sees human beings as more limited by nature and natural law (the Right)."

Sarah Palin’s take in her speech in Hong Kong Sept 23, 2009:

"We don’t believe that human nature is perfectible; we’re suspicious of government efforts to fix problems because often what it’s trying to fix is human nature, and that is impossible. IT IS WHAT IT IS. But that doesn’t mean that we’re resigned to, well, any negative destiny. Not at all. I believe in striving for the ideal, but in the realistic confines of human nature…"

        Good post!

In other words, common sense hehehe..The problem with progressives is that they either don’t realize, or reject that the founders, and framers, as Sarah espoused the other day, dicided to do it right. It Isn’t perfect, but its a damn good attempt at perfection. The problem with the constitution is that is was hammered out with genuine reason and humility. Remarkably this recognition of human weakness came ironically from an aristocratic type class of individuals. Tyranny will humble most honest men. LOL..

I’ve come to understand generally that the greatest single weakness in man is vanity, and vanity is a character or quality. Within this lies the lust for power.

section 9 is famous at c4p:

In the spring of 2009 he wrote this tribute to Sarah Palin, fiscal conservative:

"…she’s the only state Governor…other than Sanford…who is practicing FISCAL CONSERVATISM AS GOLDWATER UNDERSTOOD IT. Even Reagan had to blow the budget out to finance the defense buildup to beat the Soviets. I can’t think of any recent governor who matches her record, other than Jeb."

"…eventually the Obama Administration is going to find the worm has turned on their political fortunes because of what they have done to the currency. The projected fiscal imbalances are only half the story…when this happens…Americans will want someone who has had to actually meet a payroll and balance a checkbook in the White House."

A comment by skiptheobamatrauma around the time of the resignation which was borne out last week during the bus tour:

"…Sarah is NOT a quitter, but instead a fighter who thinks outside the box. She is the square peg that won’t be forced into the round hole; a "complex conservative" that both parties and the media can’t figure out; which is what scares them so much."

Wow. Donna Brazille understands Sarah Palin.  Some tidbits:

" I never got into the groove of simply dismissing her as a credible and successful politician. I didn’t have the heart to join the "let’s beat up on Sarah Palin" crowd. For one thing, Gov. Palin wasn’t nicknamed "Barracuda Sarah" (by her high school basketball teammates) for nothing. She didn’t need me to put out a call for civility. She’s one tough political diva who knows how to take the heat. In fact, she’s given every bit as good as she’s taken."

"She offers three qualities vital to any party’s presidential nominee: media savvy, media savvy and media savvy. "

Did Mary Beth say anything about trusting Brazile or Brazile’s motives? No, she didn’t. Get off her case.

Her pointing out a surprising observation from the enemy camp is not the same thing as saying she "trusts" them. I despise Brazile for being a prominent obama-enabler, but that doesn’t mean she can’t get something right once in a while. And in this one column she has.

Relax, John, we’re on the same side.  Honest.

Donna Brasile was photographed with Bristol at an event recently, the WH Correspondents’ Dinner I think.  Putting that together with this article, she is going to get some heat from the Obama campaign guys.  She is a super-partisan, so maybe she’s trying to set herself up as a Palin expert to get a spot in the Obama re-election campaign.- Or, maybe she’s more of a feminist than a democrat anymore.  Regardless, it was a fair article and that’s good.

It doesn’t matter if Donna gets heat from any Dems – she has her own resume and she doesn’t need favors in order to be relevant.

Nah..I would not trust her as far I could throw her. I’ve listened to her on many occasions on those round table discussions/ She is IMO just another mouthpiece for the demorats.

Actually, you CAN trust her — to be a Dem operative. She is not dishonest about herself and that is why no Dem will criticize her no matter what she says.

    Good morning 4Pers!
A couple things I’ve been thinking about:
    1. The One Nation tour is funded by SarahPAC. I am so thrilled how SarahPAC money is being spent.
    2. How long does it take to design, manufacture and install vinyl graphics? The tour wasn’t spur-of-the-moment.
    3. How long does it take to close on a house, even if you pay cash?
So when you think she’s "laying low", or taking a break, think again.

#2–With computer graphics, not that long to design.  Manufacturing is also pretty easy.  Installation probably took the longest given the large size of the vehicle.  I would say 1-2 weeks.
#3–I’ve bought houses myself (for rentals) and though I don’t know what Arizona law requires, generally you have to do title searches, determine payoff amounts on any existing mortgages, do all the paperwork.  Probably 30 days.

The Greta bus interview says that Sarah and Todd do not own the house — an investment company does. They probably own the investment company but it is a distinction.

From Glenn Spencer July 5, 2009:

Those of you who regularly visit the American Patrol Report Web Site site know that it presents a hard-hitting narrative on the on-going battle over illegal immigration…it uses a service called whose.amongus.us…over the past six months I have noticed one particular city that is the source of a regular (almost every day) visitor(s) to our site–Wasilla, Alaska. This happens to be where Sarah Palin lives. I’m not saying that Sarah Palin has been visiting the APR site every day, but it’s possible…if Sarah Palin is educating herself on the issue of illegal immigration and how Leftists are using it to change the nation forever, she may will have decided to take even more time and lay out her thoughts on this…then go on the road. She couldn’t do that as Governor of Alaska, the issue is just too complex."

"If what I think is happening is true, then the Leftists have much to fear. A Sarah Palin armed with the truth and the courage to confront it head-on would clearly be the most important candidate for the presidency the United States of America has seen since Abraham Lincoln."

Hey Techno, you are pricesless for this site, but I worry about giving away tools for the Soros-minions to catch upon.. Just a thought.

I wonder if Sarah when she is on the road will go to the border states as a fact finding mission to see first hand, all the facts, and work on solutions. This issue always gets bumped it comes around then is buried again, but it a National Security issue, and Sarah is huge when it comes to National security.
