Thanks for posting this article. Very good read. Addresses her leaving office and the reasons that the author is an avid Sarah supporter. The following is a quote from the article:

At every step of the way (or should I say “every turn of the bus”?) Palin has done what SHE wanted, and not what the press or the GOP establishment wanted her to do. She is the very model of Tocqueville’s idealized portrait of the American woman, who even while a young girl, “already thinks for herself, speaks with freedom, and acts on her own impulse… The vices and dangers of society are early revealed to her; as she sees them clearly, she views them without illusions, and braves them without fear; for she is full of reliance on her own strength, and her reliance seems to be shared by all who are about her.”Well, all except those who hate her, or mistake her twang for stupidity. She is not stupid. Whether she has read “The Art of War,” or just understands its principles intuitively, doesn’t matter. Either she is a cunning genius or she has a stunning natural talent for being right. The “One Nation” bus tour proves it. Certainly Sun Tzu would be proud of her for marching into the Northeast, where she is supposed to have no popular support, and taking it by storm.“Attack [your opponent] where he is unprepared, appear where you are not expected,” said the Chinese general.

“Have the media and establishment ever looked more arrogant and
irritated than last week when Sarah visited the Lincoln Memorial,
Gettysburg, the Liberty Bell, Ellis Island, the Statue of Liberty,
Bunker Hill and other patriotic sites?”

They were pretty arrogant until she reduced them to pissing on the side of the road.

    Something you might not know:

From JQ Adams at the American Thinker-comment:

“The Hebrew name Sarah indicates a woman of high rank and is sometimes translated as “princess”.

Sarah=Noblewoman “the princess; for she was to become nations, the mother of kings of nations”
At age 65 Sarah must of been an outstanding beauty:”And it came to pass, when he was come near to enter into Egypt, that he said unto Sarai his wife, Behold now, I know that thou art a fair woman to look upon: Therefore it shall come to pass, when the Egyptians shall see thee, that they shall say, This is his wife: and they will kill me, but they will save thee alive. Say, I pray thee, thou art my sister: that it may be well with me for thy sake; and my soul shall live because of thee. And it came to pass, that, when Abram was come into Egypt, the Egyptians beheld the woman that she was very fair. The princes also of Pharaoh saw her, and commended her before Pharaoh: and the woman was taken into Pharaoh’s house. And he entreated Abram well for her sake: and he had sheep, and oxen, and he asses, and menservants, and maidservants, and she asses, and camels.” Gen 12:11-16

The Aged P (who lives in Britain) has never been better on the one year anniversary of the day August 29th that McCain selected Palin as his running mate:

“…I shall raise a pint glass of Shepherd Neame “Spitfire” bitter later today to Governor Palin and her family. Quite appropriate really when you realise that in a few days time in the UK we shall be remembering those sunny August/September days of 1940 when a handful of young men in their Spitfires and Hurricanes held the might of the German Luftwaffe at bay in a ferocious attack of defiance against the legions of evil.”

I don’t like it he is a shill.I hope she is perpared and articulate. She needs to take a rest and study history before she get confuse again.

No. Read the thread on Revere. No less than a couple of well respected Law professors stated that THEY had learnt something new and in fact Gov. Palin was right.

She wasn’t attempting to give a coherent story about Paul Revere, she was just tossing off a few impressions and ideas.  It wasn’t a history lesson.  That being said, her comments were signficantly more historically accurate than her critics who are taking their history from Longfellow’s poem which is memorable, but was written almost 100 years later and took, well, poetic license with history.

Perhaps a reason why GOP establishment types treat Sarah Palin as “a stranger among us” or a foreigner/alien:’

I wrote this on Oct 5/2009:

“One of the most remarkable things that I have ever heard in the annals of presidential politics is when it was revealed by the media after interviewing some Beltway types after Palin was selected by McCain that many GOP officials, state legislators, Congressmen and Senators had NOT only never met the Governor but they actually didn’t even know who the hell she was.”

narciso wrote this about Chris Wallace on Nov 1, 2009:

“Chris (Wallace) is getting better at this, he’s looking past the superficial accoutrements, to the real reasons behind her appeal, her convictions and her ability to motivate others, certainly the signs of a leader.”

(We’ll find out today if Wallace has lapsed or not.)

A great thought contained in the article at the American Thinker “Why the Left Fears Sarah Palin?”

“…Sarah Palin is a threat because she symbolizes DECENCY in a country taken hostage by MORAL DEGENERATES. If she isn’t stopped, this country might end up reclaiming some of the values that made us the envy of the world.”

Looking forward to this one. Attack with that unemployment report. Devastating numbers for an incumbent president. Obama is wounded prey, and Sarah is going to be on the prowl.

Rush said Pat Cadell told him the internal polls for the Dems on Jug Ears were “awful.” Pat has been a pollster for many decades and the use of the word awful by him is probably understated. BTW, if Rush quoted Pat it means that Pat did not ask for confidentiality. The only reason he would not ask is because the powers-that-be have made a decision that Jug Ears will NOT be the Dem nominee.

This is the start of a slow motion political assassination.

oh God he is such a dufus…..  but he knows how strong she really is at ground level. Wallace is a pretty good reporter but he will try to trip her up and he is good at it. I guess we all know that Sarah is going to have to go over hot coals time and time again with three times the scrutiny….if at the other end she is still rockin then we will know we have our leader. Good luck Sarah, I couldnt do it.

    From American Thinker:

Gunfight at the DC Corral: Palin vs Obama.

    Lloyd Marcus

    http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2011/06/gunfight_at_the_dc_corral_palin_vs_obama.html

I love how it starts off. It matches my feelings exactly:

    [I'm
sorry guys. Every time you flood me with emails attempting to convince
    me Palin cannot win; is too toxic; is not smart enough; is a hypocrite;
and is only in it for the money, the courageous woman boldly does
another extraordinary interview that makes me stand up and cheer, "Sarah Palin, you go girl! I love you!"]Thank you, Lloyd!

A great personal testimony from BetseyRoss on Nov. 25, 2009 perhaps giving us a preview of what a Palin general election campaign would be like:

“I ended up working in the campaign for Reagan…wonderful lady…telling me the history of the Republicans in the 20′s. I finally understood why my father hated Roosevelt (FDR)…slowly I began to see how Reagan began to fulfill these peoples’ dreams…the guy was worth working and fighting for…Election Day in 1980…better than winning the lottery and Christmas all rolled into one day.”

“I see these same things in Sarah. I knew when she gave her introductory speech that she was special…she was going to be the one to save us from Obama. Unfortunately it will be later rather than sooner. I KNEW I WOULD CRAWL OVER BROKEN GLASS TO VOTE FOR THIS WOMAN. I WILL WORK UNTIL MY DYING DAY FOR HER. I WILL SEND HER MY LAST DOLLAR BECAUSE I KNOW SHE IS HONEST AND TRUE (my bold print).”

“…I just wish we didn’t have to go through whatever hell is in store for us in the near future. We will be victorious because WE HAVE TO BE. THERE IS NO ROOM FOR FAILURE (my bold print). She cannot do this alone and we cannot let her down. We all have to fight.”

The quintessential article on the savagery of the attacks on Sarah Palin:

    THE WILDING OF SARAH PALIN

    http://www.americanthinker.com/2009/11/the_wilding_of_sarah_palin.html

    A fantastic, but diabolical idea:

“Palin is NOT the only intended victim. As the book, Against Our Will described, the brutality is also aimed at MEN. By forcing men to witness Palin’s violation, the Left tries to EMASCULATE CONSERVATIVE MEN by rendering them powerless.”

    • Anonymous

Perhaps an insight into liberal thinking about rape by AnalogMan commenting to the article:

“…To a conservative, rape is particularly heinous because it is an assault on a WOMAN’S MODESTY (my bold print). Liberals see NO value in modesty, and do their best to destroy it by promoting promiscuity and abortion. For them rape is a matter of a WOMAN’S PREFERENCE (my bold print)–that is, it’s “against her will.”

“Liberals have no respect for women, because as far as they are concerned, all women are sluts, or if they aren’t, they should be…”

      • Anonymous

Excuse me? You’re saying a “woman’s preference” is beside the point? And that “women’s modesty” — a concept derived from males’ complete legal authority over wives and daughters in earlier times — is what should matter?

Under Islam, “woman’s modesty” is called ”family honor”, and Muslim men use it as a convenient excuse to murder women and girls whom they accuse of violating standards of modesty, sometimes stoning or lashing them to death in the public square, while any complicit male gets off with nothing more than a slap on the wrist, if that.

Pardon me if I “prefer” to think of women as complete and worthwhile individuals who have every legal, moral and natural intrinsic right to exercise their  “preference” in this or any other situation.

        Badly done, techno.

      Fantastic, diabolical, and perfectly true.
