My Dear Friends in Sarah,
 
Happy Thursday to you all!!
 
I can only stay very briefly today.  I am planning to present the commentary on the next page of Going Rogue either tomorrow (Friday) or Monday.  Beyond this, I plan vigorously to advance the work this summer.  The pages of our Sarah’s precious book encompass so many gems of beauty and truth and inspiration for all of us!!  Also, I have certainly not forgotten the essay on “Why Sherlock Holmes Would Have Loved Sarah Palin” that I promised a few months ago!
 
Garrett Leon Hawkins, I did finally read the splendid and moving initial post that you made last Thursday, one week ago.  I am sorry that I was so late and so long in reading it, but I loved it, I “liked” it, I responded to it!!!  Welcome aboard!
 
This early morning my heart is filled with sentiments of gratitude for all that Lady Sarah has done and suffered for us.
 
I think that she has been following, lo all these many months and years, the simple commandment of the Lord “Love Thy Neighbor.”
 
What return, then, shall we make to her for all that she has generously and nobly and selflessly done and endured and sacrificed for us?
 
Let us “light candles” for her; let us kindle such a multitude of these candles that they shall rival, in their royal effulgence and brilliance and majesty, the splendid Northern Lights, the luminous Aurora Borealis, and bring down countless blessings upon her, and through her, upon all our nation!
 
Let us light a candle for her by giving yet again, as generously as our circumstances permit, to SarahPAC.
 
Let us light a candle for her by speaking up and defending her whenever we have the chance, by word, by “pen,” by action.
 
Let us light a candle for her by sending aloft that extra prayer for her each morning and each evening, by making that extra sacrifice for her.
 
Let us light a candle for her by NEVER taking her for granted, never taking her beauty and charity of mind and of soul and of guts and of courage for granted.
 
Let us light a candle for her by striving to love our country in the way that she does.
 
Let us light a candle for her by laboring, each of us in our own way, each according to our own capacities and circumstances, to imitate her deep and abiding love for “Family, Faith, and Flag.”
 
Let us so light candles for our Sarah that the darkness of this present hour shall yield to Aurora’s dawning glimmer and glory of a new “morning in America”!!!

Sarah Palin: Another “WTF” Obama Foreign Policy Moment

As Governor I fought the Obama Administration’s plans to cut funds for missile defense in Alaska. So imagine how appalled and surprised I was to read this article by former Clinton CIA Director James Woolsey, appropriately titled “Giving Away the Farm,” concerning President Obama’s latest bizarre actions relating to missile defense.

President Obama wants to give Russia our missile defense secrets because he believes that we can buy their friendship and cooperation with this taxpayer-funded gift. But giving military secrets and technologies to a rival or competitor like Russia is just plain dumb. You can’t buy off Russia. And giving them advanced military technology will not create stability. What happens if Russia gives this technology (or sells it!) to other countries like Iran or China? After all, as Woolsey points out, Russia helped Iran with its missile and nuclear programs. Or what happens if an even more hardline leader comes to power in the Kremlin?

We tried buying off the Kremlin with technologies in the 1970s. That policy was a component of “detente,” and the hope was that if we would share our technologies with them, they would become more peaceful. Things, of course, didn’t work out that way. The Kremlin took western technologies and embarked on a massive military building program. History teaches that peace comes from American military strength. And a central component of that has always been technological superiority. Why would President Obama even dream of giving this away?

Members of Congress saw how foolish President Obama’s gambit was, so they put a section in the defense appropriation bill that specifically forbids the federal government from spending money to share these technologies with the Kremlin. President Obama actually threatened to veto the defense appropriation bill over this section of the law! Fortunately, the House passed the bill with a veto-proof majority, a whopping 322 to 96. Attention now turns to the Senate.

Why is it that President Obama seems to work so hard to give things to our enemies, while at the same time asking friends and allies like Israel to make sacrifices?

During these tough economic times when we are facing massive deficits and a competitive global economy, does President Obama really want to give away technologies that the American taxpayer paid lots of money to develop? Giving away our missile defense secrets won’t make us safer. What it will do is create a situation where we are facing an arms race with ourselves. Russia gets access to our technologies, and we are forced to spend even more money because of the need to stay ahead. Does this make sense to you? Me neither. File this under “WTF”.

These are the facts. Michele Bachmann made Ed Rollins a very important part of her team. Like everyone else involved in politics, she knew he is a bomb thrower who had already attacked Governor Palin. She hired Rollins after he had also attacked Bachmann as not being a potential serious presidential candidate. As an important member of Bachmann’s team, Rollins makes a harsh, dishonest attack on Palin. Bachmann does not fire Rollins or even repudiate his attack.

These facts lead to only one conclusion that makes any sense: Bachmann is a stalking horse for the Republican establishment whose goal is stop Palin. They want to prevent Palin from running and, if they cannot do that, defeat her. However, these disgusting, dishonest losers will fail.

Good Morning, all Sarah Warriors! Still basking in my Bruins win last night.

From my late last night post, the more people see Romney, the more people hate him. Check out his Mon./Tues CNN ratings. Further, the only people that like him are over 65 years old.

Numbers are in for part 2 of the CNN/Romneycare pier Morgan Tuesday interview. Romney shed 123,000 viewers from Monday nights interview and 26,000 viewers from the important 25-54 age group.

Further, he again has an older audience  watching. With the 35 – 64 age group, The following CNN programs beat Morgan Romney at 9PM, 5PM, 7PM, 8PM, 10PM, 11PM w/the 35-64 age group.

This tells you most of the people watching are over 65 years old and based on the ratings, they are getting sick of him. He lost 123,000 FREAKIN viewers.

The more people see Romneycare the less they like him!
