After initially panning McCain’s VP selection, music mogul Sean “P Diddy” Combs was greatly impressed with Governor Palin’s RNC speech . He produced a nearly four-minute “Diddy blog” on Sept. 8, 2008, praising her charisma and stage presence, and apologizing for not giving her the benefit of the doubt when she was first announced.
This video pretty much speaks for itself. (Warning, one F bomb).
Attention Sarah Palin … On Wednesday night, 34 million people who doubted you tuned in to watch … you had the pressure of the world on you, you looked us in the eyes, you stepped up to the mic, you did your thing, you gave a pretty good speech. … I never gave you the benefit of the doubt. You gave a speech that basically shut me up for the whole time you were speaking. You came across extremely strong, charismatic, someone I would want to play hockey with.
I enjoyed the speech. It was the best thing about the whole Republican convention.
What more can I say? I’m with Diddy. Back to you, Damian!
