Look at question nine and you’ll see that Rick Perry’s name is included while Governor Palin’s name is excluded in the most recent NBC/WSJ poll.
I’d love to see how hacks like Chuck Todd and Mark Murray try to justify including Perry and excluding Palin when both of them are officially in the same boat regarding whether they are currently presidential candidates.
And what’s worse about the poll is that nobody from the NBC political unit pointed out that they omitted Palin’s name from the poll. Their failure to mention that fact leads to this type of tweet:
In today’s NBC/WSJ poll, Palin doesn’t make the top 9 GOP candidates. A month ago, she was #2.
It’s pretty hard for Palin to make the top nine in any poll when her name isn’t included, but apparently the guy who tweeted this point believes that she should have done better even if her name wasn’t included because there was an option for “other.” So under this logic, I could run a poll and exclude Mitt “peacetime” Romney’s name from the poll and claim he dropped dramatically if “other” doesn’t poll well.
