In a post earlier today, I suggested Obama and his team are incapable of comprehending the fact that their policies are only exacerbating the problems with which our economy is confronted, not solving them. Today Joe Biden confirmed this assessment:
U.S. Vice President Joe Biden said on Friday the U.S. economy needed more stimulus to get it moving, putting in a plug for government measures shortly before the White House unveils new proposals to boost job growth.
One is always tempted, of course, to dismiss anything Biden says as simply more in his never ending series of ”rhetorical flourishes“, but I think there’s more to this than that. I have no doubt that Obama will propose this very thing during his much hyped “jobs speech” when he finally gets around to delivering it in September? What do you all think? Is this simply another rhetorical flourish by Biden, or is it a trial balloon being floated by Team Obama to prepare the public for another round of deficit financed spending that’s bound to be as economically futile as the four trillion in deficit spending he’s already racked up?
