Sarah Palin: Good Morning From Springfield, Illinois!

Governor Palin posted the following message this morning:

Good morning from Springfield, Illinois!

We had another great day yesterday traveling through the Midwest. We stopped to walk in the footsteps of Ronald Wilson Reagan at his alma mater Eureka College, enjoyed fried chicken at a local restaurant that “Dutch” frequented, and crossed on a few dirt roads following field after field of corn and soybeans.

Our country is an extraordinarily beautiful place. But the people here are everything. As Reagan said, “The most valuable lesson I learned at Eureka is that every individual makes a difference.” Individuals can make a difference. We have to.

The gritty, humble strength of America’s heartland is on display in the places we’ve visited the last few days, where individuals work together to pull resource and bounty from our land. We’ve met so many great people who are committed to their community and united by strong values and love of country.

Thank you Eureka, Dixon, and all the places we stopped at yesterday. This trip continues to inspire at every turn.

– Sarah Palin

P.S. Congratulations to all those who participated in Ames yesterday.

Here are some pictures from the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum.

Ian, thanks for bringing this new post by Sarah Palin to our attention.

Folks, let’s fire up her two new posts and spread the word via social media.

    "Game On"
    Sarah Palin – 2012

Interesting Sarah didn’t congratulate Bachmann by name in her congratulations to all who participated in Ames.

THIS is exactly the way Sarah Palin said she would run a campaign….going out and connecting with the little guys.  Not the people that the "campaign" wrangles into a tent.  REAL people.  She’s going out without security getting in between her and the people.

While she has that big beautiful bus out….she IS campaigning.  She’s taking it to the people herself!  The way presidential candidates USED to do.  She’s not only resotring America…she’s restoring how presidential candidates campaign.

    I LIKE IT!!!!!!!!!!

  • Mike_D_Yeager

I got this idea from conservativemama so all credit goes to her and Rush Limbaugh.

I would like to see thousands then millions of these videos online.

I think this could be one of those John Doe moments a moment where we

stand up for Sarah Palin because she is America as are we and it’s time

we stand together or fall divided.

Please any of you who have a webcam just record a few moments of video using conservativemama

original post as a guide and you can send the recording as a attachment (25mb or less) to and I’ll post it.

    Begin Quote

"I’m thinking for when Sarah’s a candidate.  I love the "I am Sarah

Palin" theme that we have on this website.  Plus, I’m tired of hearing

about Obama’s billion dollar campaign.  I just don’t think money alone

    will matter this time.

How about a series of "I am Sarah Palin" videos on You Tube?  Short

videos.  People can just voice why they support Sarah, maybe give a peek

into their lives.  Tell why they are Sarah.  Maybe tell how this

economy is killing their dreams.  Maybe tell what they love and know

about our country. Give a specific reason for their support for Sarah,

    highlighting her record of achievement.

I know I’m all over the place, but it’s a thought that came to me

today.  I think it should be positive, no name calling or anything like

that.  Put the videos out there, package them.  I don’t know how all

that works, but I know others here do.

I just think that Obama’s cold dollars should be met with our money, but

also with our lives, our voices.  There’s no way his campaign will have

anywhere near the passion that Sarah’s will.  No way.  And you can’t

put a price on passion and love of country.  Corny?  Maybe.  But I

    believe it. " End Quote

Post them on your channel, then if you want send them to me and I’ll put them on this channel.

A Way to make a difference lets do it.

    P.S. DJY is my brother

Who is the tall guy with Sarah?
As I have said here before, my perfect wife’s family moved to Springfield IL in about 1840. My wife’s great grandfather sat on Abe’s knee.

    • CBDenver

I think Todd should have put on the hat.  That would have been a great picture.

  • c4pfan

She didn’t post it on her facebook yet.  Thanks for the heads up!

  • MarkRNY

Whitney hasn’t posted anything today…hmmm…have a picture in my mind of them hanging out somewhere with bendy straws.

    Hey Sarah–you couldn’t ask for a better staffer–and I ain’t kidding!

Just saw on twitter that  Whitney has her picture with Sarah!!  YAY for Whitney!!

      • MarkRNY

  • wodiej

  • manajordan

She’s so cool :) Really great stuff from the Guv.

  • BrianusBerkleianus

Love the photo of the Palin family with the Lincoln family!!

    Thanks, Ian!

  • Norcalo

Lincoln’s contemporaries said of him that he was "as gentle as a woman" and that "his compassion was infinite."

You can find that in "Harper’s Illustrated History of the Civil War." republished by Fairfax Press, a few decades ago.

    Reminds me of someone.

  • blueniner

A few wise ASSes posting on her facebook page.

    • John B. Hefmier

I know.  It’s not honorable and pathetic!!

  • exodus2011

LOL – loved that PS at the end of Gov Palin’s post … she is truly unique, a one-of-a-kind politician …. she thrives on the competition …. giving respect to her opponents ….. however, I think she will give a ‘different’ kind of respect to The Destroyer-in-Chief

"P.S. Congratulations to all those who participated in Ames yesterday."

  • Bean Counter

Well, it’s about time our little pipsqueak had some major face time with Madame 45! Proud of you, kiddo, hope this is the start of a beautiful relationship. Nobody deserves it more.

    • MarkRNY

      Bean weighs in!

    • BrianusBerkleianus

Hey, BC, how are ya?…and KUDOS for our Whitney!!!

    • AndreaB

      Hi Bean!

  • HuntingMoose

    Why am I stupid?
why am I hoarding my donation money for her announcement

why not send it NOW to SarahPAC C4P/O4P/PalinTV?

it justed daunted on me. I am like a stupid chicken without a head.

I have set aside money to send to Palin2012 as soon as she announces. But is that really the best thing to do?

For starters, I have been clamoring her to officially jump in in not even yesterday but last week. Everytime another date comes and goes. Next stop Labor Day weekend. And everytime it comes and goes lots of hope and deep-inside disappointment (like the little kid still not getting that thing).

So for starters, I am going to assume she will announce officially on Thanksgiving day. That would be fitting. Reagan announced November 13th so nothing late here.

And I will say thank you to her since she has been the one without whom I probably would have mentally died from depression and Obama-caused headaches. with her Todd she is darn close to the native americans so how fitting

so why keep the money in the bank? let it loose it’s value while Obama further destroys the dollar?. Why not put it to good use right now?

Yes, it is my little ego that kind of wants to donate big when she announces but whatever I donate it will be a drop in the bucket compared with all the other money that she at that moment will raise.

why not donate now to SarahPAC?. They are the ones that support her now and can give small scale support to grassroot efforts. Look at the publicity and platform the bustour is giving her to lay the foundation. And at a fraction of the cost. Any idea what Obama’s bustour cost (even excluding the biggest part that we the people pay?)

SarahPAC raised in the last quarter 1.6M$. If we all donate to SarahPAC right now, we will make a huge difference. And that difference will fuel more donations once Sarah2012 starts.

And heck, let’s also send some of it directly to C4P/O4P/PalinTV. They are the ones distributing the headache-medicine that works so well. Donations directly to them will make an even bigger impact. The website is sometimes slow so money for an upgrade won’t hurt

and just in case she will announce in 2 weeks, well, too bad I won’t be able to send that big check but the good news will overshadow that big time. And what is donated to C4P/O4P/PalinTV will carry over so no worry here.

    • cuatrocinco45

I’m a huge fan of her but if she waits until Nov 13 she may as well annouce on Feb 5.

  • ReaganPalin

A democrat contributor on fox just now was asked does any of these candidates scare democrats? He said , no, not even Rick Perry! He was then asked if there were any one out there that would scare them and Obama? He said a Palin/ Ryan ticket would scare them big time!

    • Daniel

Who was the contributor? There’s very few that you can honestly believe what they say. Caddell, Trippi, Powers, and Schoen are the only ones, off the top of my head, that are honest in what they say.

      • ReaganPalin

I know the ones you mentioned. I have never seen this guy before though.

  • AmsterdamExpat

That is the second P.S. she’s authored concerning contested primaries …
