The New Banner/Open Thread

You’ve probably noticed that we put up a new header banner. This has been months in the making and was originally supposed to go up when we moved over to WordPress. The purpose of this change is to reflect C4P’s image as a serious and factual news site. We want to give the website a more businesslike, less “fan clubbish”, air ahead of her likely run for the White House.

In the coming days we will be adding a Headlines section, similar to the one at Hot Air. All the editors and contributors were in agreement that we needed to open up more space so readers don’t have to scroll down to get to the first posts.

The SarahPAC banner within the header is a place holder, that area will be used to display the Palin2012 campaign logo or various messages and/or ads from the campaign.

We understand that some of our readers have become attached to the old banner, but as we head into an upcoming campaign certain image and style adjustments have to and will be made.

For readers who are really attached and find the old banners sentimental, below are copies of all the banners. Feel free to bookmark this page and refer to it to fight back any withdrawal symptoms.
