Daily Beast: Governor Palin’s ‘Going Rogue’ Has Outsold Barack Obama’s ‘Audacity of Hope’

Even the Daily Beast is conceding that “Palin’s 2009 book, Going Rogue, has sold a whopping 1,392,225 copies in hardcover, over four times as many as the rest of the current GOP field combined” and that the book “is in rarified air, as one of only six tomes by a politician in the last decade to sell over a million copies.”   Going Rogue outsold Barack Obama’s (or Jon Favreau’s) Audacity of Hope even though the latter was released three years before Governor Palin’s memoir:

The Bookscan numbers, which excludes Wal-Mart sales, are as follows for Going Rogue and Audacity of Hope:

Going Rogue:  1,392,225

Audacity of Hope: 1,151,357
