Our friend Kevin Scholla recently interviewed actress Janine Turner on SarahNETRadio … Janine told Kevin that she has “immense respect for Governor Palin.” She understands her decision not to seek the nomination, but she believes she is young enough that the presidency is well within her future, and that the “country would be in great hands.”
Many of us recall that Janine played a feisty and charming float plane pilot on Northern Exposure back in the 80s. (Kinda fitting that she supports Gov. Palin and that she returned to Alaska to campaign for Joe Miller last year, at Governor Palin’s invitation). Janine has also starred in films, as well as in the popular TV series, Friday Night Lights, where she was subjected to Hollywood bias once her “conservatism” was discovered during the 2008 presidential campaign. (She campaigned for John McCain and Gov. Palin.) Since leaving that program, she has started a new organization Constituting America, to remind everyone about the Constitution and our liberties as Americans. She lives in Texas, and hosts a Saturday Night radio show on 570 KLIF, and a daily internet radio show.
Governor Palin praised Turner in Going Rogue for being a strong voice for conservatism, and an advocate for single moms raising good citizens.
