Those of you on the East Coast will be able to watch 60 Minutes feature on the crony capitalism taking place in the Obama administration starting at 7 PM EST. The Governor’s foreign policy adviser, Peter Schwiezer, is one of the guests. Hopefully the Governor’s name will be mentioned tonight as one of the people leading the fight against crony capitalism. Stacy has more here.
As for the reconsider project, the numbers continue to be stronger than I expected. What we’re aiming for is the project or projects that stand the best chance of getting in the news. I don’t think there’s an issue with whether the Governor will see whatever it is that we end up doing as long as whatever we end up doing gets some press from the MSM/conservative blogosphere. That’s why I’m not so keen on the idea of putting an ad in the Frontiersman or the Drudge Report. Even though she’d definitely see an ad in the Frontiersman or on the Drudge Report, such a move is unlikely to create a buzz about her reconsidering. So the goal essentially is to do something that will bolster the perception in the MSM/conservative blogosphere that people would like her to reconsider. The logic has always been that the more people talk about her reconsidering, the more likely she will reconsider.
If you have ideas and some knowledge, leave it in the comments or e-mail us with some specifics. Now, does anyone know how much it would cost to run a tv ad for a week in markets like Reno, Sioux City, Des Moines, Colorado Springs, Denver, and Phoenix?
What else is going on today?
Update: Be sure to tune in to the Victory Sessions with Stephen K. Bannon at 8PM EST tonight. Peter Schwiezer will be co-hosting and they will be joined by Peter Boyer of Newsweek, Andrew Breitbart, and others. The show will be covering Peter Schwiezer’s new book, “Throw Them All Out” so don’t miss it!
Update #2: Those of us on the West Coast don’t need to wait:
