Prayers Going Out to Gov. Palin, Family, and Alaskans

Tonight, one of Alaska’s worst and deadliest storms in history is making its way along the west coast of Alaska.

The storm is capable of 100 mph winds, heavy snowfall, and major erosion along the coastline.  It’s been reported that evacuation has begun in many of the towns along the coastline.

The National Weather Service issued the following statement:

"This will be an extremely dangerous and life threatening storm of an epic magnitude rarely experienced."

Our hearts and prayers go out to the Palin and Heath families as well as all Alaskans that all within the vicinities stay safe.

    Prayers for everyone up there.

Fortunately, they’re a smart, tough crowd, so they aren’t likely to be caught unaware or unprepared.

Or they got in thier plane and headed south like all good snowbirds to Arizona to a warmer climate. Remeber they were just in Florida and left a snow storm. If not prayers they will all weather the storm.

      • sno_warrior

I’ve been here 33 winters!  Arizona is starting to sound good!  LOL

In fact, Governor Parnell spent this summer encouraging those in the coastal areas to prepare.

Our prayers and hearts are with you Alaska.

  • Jean_A

My prayers are with all in the state of Alaska.

It looks like those snow throwers will come in handy.

    On Sarah’s recent silence:

    http://classicalvalues.com/2011/11/her-silence-is-deafening/

Alaskans are used to heavy weather. Like Sarah they will come out fine. God willing.

Thanks for posting, you have posted before so I don’t need to tell you a "thick skin" is needed here sometimes, after all this site is a reflection of middle-America or a very large Wallmart so don’t expect to enjoy everybody’s postings here all the time.. ;)

      • http://powerandcontrol.blogspot.com/ M. Simon

I’m a moderately popular blogger. I’m used to vituperation. But it is amusing. Thanks for letting me know that what I did is not a serious infraction. I kind of took a vacation when Palin dropped out and I thought things might have changed.

  • FromMinnesota

I was hoping for an earthquake!

Just posted a new cartoon with Sarah, Ronald Reagan, and Mitt Romney.  View it at http://drawfortruth.com/2011/11/09/a-tale-of-three-spines/

      …Love it….thanks Minnesota.!!

Thoughts and prayers go out for all Alaskans.
But I too was wondering if this would be considered enough of a "natural disaster" not an earthquake like Sarah originally stated but still a "storm of an epic magnitude rarely experienced" which is what a 10.3 earthquake would have been. What more has to happen before Sarah gets into the race? Sarah…you can try & run from your destiny but you can’t hide or deny what God wants you to do…PLEASE get into the race for POTUS!

    Heartfelt prayers.

Keep praying and evacuating but don’t forget:

The weather guys are often wrong.

  • Izzyf3

Dear Heavenly Father, we thank you for your divine protection over Alaska.  We come against the severe weather conditions and render them harmless and ineffective against the Palins and fellow Alaskans involved.  You have given your angels charge of the Palins… that no weapon formed against them shall prosper.  We plead the blood of Jesus Christ over them.  May Your peace Lord fill their hearts and minds… in Jesus’ name we pray.

    • BrianusBerkleianus

      AMEN, Izzy!!!!

May the Force be with you young Sarah.

Praying for the people in Alaska.

God is good all the time… this too will pass. God has great plans for the Palins.

    Stay Safe Alaskans………

    Prayers.!!

  • BrianusBerkleianus

Prayers and prayers and prayers for our brothers and sisters in Alaska in the face of this terrible storm.

Of course, the Good Lord heeds prayers said in any and every tongue, but extra orisons in LATIN tonight will be ascending from Berkeley, California with the "fragrance of incense" up to the Throne of the All-Highest (Sarah’s grandfather, CJ Sheeran, loved Latin, and Notre Dame football!)

God bless and protect the PALIN/HEATH family and all the residents of The Great Land.

And God bless all of you, my brothers- and sisters-in-arms!!!

  • Kjanlady

Just checked the weather in Wasilla……it’s currently 7 degrees but will warm up to a balmy 21 degrees tomorrow……they will be getting snow all day and night all the way til Sunday……and the temps will be in the 20′s…..it’s a good thing Sarah chopped all that wood….stay safe Alaska!

Meanwhile down here in bayou country we are in the middle of a thunderstorm with the added threat of a tornado….tomorrow will be in the upper 60′s……our coldest day this winter…..looks like I’ll have to break out a jacket…..anything lower than 70′s is considered to be cold down here.

    • BrianusBerkleianus

      Stay safe, my friend.

      God bless you and Kitty!!

    • sno_warrior

The west coast of Alaska is a LONG WAY from Wasilla Kjanlady.   I think it’s gettin ‘western’ out there!

  • http://twitter.com/TheAkal Alan F. Bauer

It’s cold, but it’s been worse here in Anchorage. Those on the west coast are the ones that are in action today. There was some warning, so hopefully everyone over there takes heed. As for the Palins, their tough, I don’t think they’ll freeze any time soon. Prayers for those in harms way. Night all.

  • Banda31

Hi Everyone, I felt so disgusted just now. I was reading the Yahoo news regarding the epic storm that’s about to hit Alaska and there are a lot of comments about Sarah Palin. Some are too disgusting to repeat but there are 2 comments that really stood out for me. One person said that "this storm is God’s wrath on Alaska for breeding the Palins" and the other person said that "this is a sign from God that Sarah Palin should kill herself".
I ask myself what has Sarah Palin done to bring on such venomous hatred from some people. They knowing that anywhere in America at any time disasters could strike, should cause them  to be concerned for the safety of their fellow citizens and instead all they can focus on is their intense hatred for Sarah. The Bible states that "man rather darkness than light" They cannot stand the Light that emanates from Sarah.

    • Steve_Flesher

It’s heartbreaking.  Keep faith and know that you and your decency as a human being are in the majority.

      • Banda31

I hear you Brother. But it’s really so sad. What is our country coming to? Mankind has lost their common decency, their compassion for their fellow man and their moral compass. They feel that they can do and say anything and be damned with the consequences.

        • Banda31

          Sorry ,comment posted twice.

        • lanahi

No, there is still tremendous goodness on the earth, and it will continue and grow.  This is a battle between good and evil, and evil will lose. Their voices are raised in desperation because they know they will lose.

    • Banda31

I hear you Brother. But it’s really so sad. What is our country coming to? Mankind has lost their common decency, their compassion for their fellow man and their moral compass. They feel that they can say and do anything despite how hurtful it can be to others.

    • BrianusBerkleianus

Exactly, Banda!!  These dark souls and spirits hate the light that dwells in Sarah.

We, for our part, as I have often said here, should constitute ourselves, through assiduous prayer and sacrifice, as Sarah’s Spiritual Secret Service, to protect her and her family from all harm, physical and spiritual.

      God bless!!

      • wodiej

Oh I like that-Spiritual Secret Service.

    • wodiej

Banda, exactly-the darkness does not like the light.  What is frightening is many of these same people claim to be Christians.

      • http://twitter.com/TheAkal Alan F. Bauer

That label is applied to a large sort of people, some with questionable conduct. What’s important is to not be like those who go to church, sit there, and digest nothing of what they hear. Kind of like President Obama, in his church for what, twenty years, but remembers little of what was said.

    • lanahi

      Ignore them.

Darkness is not a "thing" in and of itself.  It is simply the absence of light.  When we shine our lights, there is no darkness.

    • ZH100

"I ask myself what has Sarah Palin done to bring on such venomous hatred from some people"
      ————————————————————————————————————-

Its the result of (daily) nonstop attacks on Gov.Palin ( and her family); 3 years of trashing by the liberal media (and also from some of the so called right wing media) like never before in history.

All palingates posters are not welcome here and are deemed trolls.

        • http://powerandcontrol.blogspot.com/ M. Simon

Could you please explain the term "palingates". I have only been a supporter since 29Aug2008 so I am not familiar with the term.

          • John_Frank

Palingates is a website that has been the source of many of the lies about Sarah Palin and her family. People who comment there go out and deliberately trash Sarah Palin across the Internet.

            • http://powerandcontrol.blogspot.com/ M. Simon

              Thanks.

BTW my blog post was about how many Republicans would vote for a "syphilitic camel" to defeat Obama. To call Cain one of those camels is definitely not anti-Sarah. My point was that if Sarah came in as a 3rd Party Candidate she would scoop up a lot of those votes.

I also discussed how a lot of former Obama voters (including my Mate) are now interested in Sarah because of what is essentially an empty Republican field. Here is the link again:

              http://classicalvalues.com/2011/11/her-silence-is-deafening/

              • John_Frank

You are welcome. Thanks for the link and your analysis.

Yes, I suspect many former Obama voters are now interested in Governor Palin.

              • lanahi

Sorry, I’ll flag your calling Cain "one of those camels" too.  I don’t like him, but name calling is not what we do here.

                • http://powerandcontrol.blogspot.com/ M. Simon

So giving my opinion on what some one else said ( I did not say "Cain is…") is now a matter for flagging? You folks are awful twitchy. Ah well. Twitch away. I guess my membership in the Palin Fan Club is about to be rescinded forthwith. I was only a Jr. member anyway. Maybe Gary Johnson needs some support.

              • socon

                Please stop whining–it’s annoying.

                • http://powerandcontrol.blogspot.com/ M. Simon

Thanks for adding some whining to the mix. The irony is most amusing.

              • socon

You need to get a life, Simon.

So in other words, Palingates is a gathering place for aspiring fiction writers to hone their craft.

              • John_Frank

…. yes, being steeped in hatred towards Governor Palin and conservatives.
