Last month, we had a very purposeful discussion when Newt Gingrich and Herman Cain had their Lincoln-Douglas style debate in Texas which was hosted by the Tea Party Patriots.
One thing that I missed was that soon afterwards, Gingrich also had a similar debate with Rick Santorum. Sadly, it’s one of the least watched debates. But it’s packed with the presentation of ideas, the need for returning power to the states, and an overall and in-depth discussion on the Constitution.
Refreshingly, both candidates gave real answers and proposed real ideas and solutions. Since Gingrich’s surge has held strong and Santorum is experiencing some new-found momentum, I thought this debate might serve as a useful tool to providing us with just a little bit more on both candidates.
