A solid interview tonight from the Governor. She told Greta Van Susteren that “[Romney] is the one President Obama would love to debate and to run against in November” and that “[i]t’s tough to say exactly what it was that [Romney] did as Governor that can bode well to his credentials as a conservative.”
She also told Greta that Obama “would really fear having to debate Newt Gingrich” and that the former Speaker “balanced budgets…sought to cut tax rates and [shrunk] some of the size of government…even working with a Democrat President.” The Governor further noted that Rick Santorum has been “rising in the polls” and is “consistently…socially conservative” but that he “will be attacked in these coming days for his support of earmarks in the past.”
