And the one who bests understands energy security isn’t even running, yet.

  • indemind

Governor Sarah Palin … "We Need To Replace Barack Obama With Someone Who Understands … Energy Security”

    Yes, … Governor Sarah Palin

    • BrianusBerkleianus

      Right on, Bro!!!

  • LadyMams

She has stayed true to her word in supporting and promoting Alaska. Very good interview, again :)

  • jeffo1

SARAH: Sure wish you were in this race! A true blue American conservative is what is needed.

God help us if obama is re-elected…….

  • TEXs

    Nice interview,except ABO.

She has to say that because she’s still republican politician, although she despise and detests Romney.

I don’t have that burden, liberal RINO Mitt will never get my vote,NEVER,under no circumstances.

    • Hyman Roth

Let me spell this for Sarah and all the other "ABO" people:

I don’t care WHAT happens to the damn country, and I don’t care how long your damn family has been in it.

      • philip127

I despise Romney as well along with the 4 remaining choices. BUT, BUT, I will do everything I can to make sure Barack Huessian Obama does not get four more years.

I love this country too much to sell us down that rathole.

  • gahanson

Why can’t any of the candidates speak out like that?  Are they just dumb or are they just going through some kind of scripted campaign designed to be so uninspiring that just enough will stay home, guarantying 0bama another win?

    • sodakhic

As Sarah says, It’s these folks that couldn’t get elected dog catcher running the campaigns. That’s the problem

    • Betsey_Ross

Just remember she is free to speak anything she wants.  He who emulates what she is saying is probably the one that should win.  To bad is is just us here at C4P that is paying attention.     "It’s his turn stuff" needs to stop.

    • Speaking Heart

I’ve seen Newt speak like that many times. I’ve watched so many videos of the candidates in the past two months. No one else has the same clarity with the fire on the campaign trail to date.

  • Pete Petretich

If she were President then she could totally and permanently change Alaska’s relationship with the federal government.

  • Greg Legakis

Nice interview.  The topic was right in her wheelhouse.

  • JamesColumbiaMo

I suppose it takes another RINO moderate to lose to Obama before the GOP wakes up and supports a conservative who will be a contrast to Obama, not simply Obama-Lite.  If Romney loses to Obama, you think the GOP will finally wake up?

    • Hyman Roth

      • imo123

Hyman not only do I agree that "No" they will not wake up but they will most likely blame it on Palin because she promoted a contested primary.  Why wouldn’t they blame Palin, everything always seems to be her fault.

      • Ory Hebert

They didn’t get it when McCain lost.

        • Guest

           No you don’t get it.

It was said they didn’t get it when Ford lost. It was said they didn’t get it when GHW Bush lost. It was said they didn’t get it when Dole lost.

They flippin’ get it. That’s why they threw McCain in out face. That’s why they are shoving Romney in our face.

They will always shove the RINO down your throat. The only time they are going to get it is if we keep saying on these boards we will not vote for Romney and that they can get used to being the permanent minority party.. And then they will go to a brokered convention and shove Jeb or Daniels in our face. Who do you think these delegates are. They are not conservative supporters and will not back Palin. Wake up!

Even when Reagan won the nomination these freaks tried to have a dual presidency of Ford and Reagan. They are nuts and don’t care about you.

    • Carolyn Dixon

not at all. they just do not get it.  our votes aren’t for sale and we will not hold our noses and vote for the next moderate/liberal gop in line.

  • alien4palin

Another great interview!!!!! Looks well and beautiful as ever.

  • aaron66krohn

    Julianne ("Sarah Palin") Moore:

"I SO don’t want to go back to Alaska!"

    Ms Moore,

I STRONGLY recommend you watch this interview with Greta!!!

    Than EAT those words!!!!!

(And if THAT doesn’t persuade you how WRONG "Game Change" is……

watch ALL NINE episodes of (the REAL) Sarah Palin’s Alaska!!!!)

    • ProudAmerican247

"I SO don’t want to go back to Alaska!"

Talk about a Bull Faced Lie!!!

      Liberals are such LYING MISFITS!

They DISGUST me to no end!

Even Meghan McCain said it was trash and she wouldn’t watch it!

I hope it turns out to be an UTTER DISASTER OF EPIC PROPORTIONS!!!!

    • generictrainee

That line is so beyond ludicrous and shows what a hack job this movie is. I can think of millions things she could have said but not that and to who would she say that?
She was fast pace touring the nation for a campaign , it wasn’t like she was stationed in hawaii or something and was forced back to Alaska. And oh um btw , wasn’t she in a "constant nervous breakdown" on the campaign tour too?
The pile on of smears would make Goebbels proud.

  • Guest

I just saw ‘Act of Valor’ and couldn’t help but think of how great a response from the public it has gotten.  The director and producer were asked why they felt it was #1 at the box office?  Because America wanted to see how our brave military handles threats to this nation without the CGI. Hollywood fakery.  It’s real.  Our guys are looking at the darkness of this world and are dealing with the threats.  Just think how powerful their families and the citizens would be if we too were given that same information?  This nation would not have the problems on the border.  We would not be shocked at the nuclear buildup for years by Iran.  We would not stand by while politicians cozied up to our enemies under the guise of some UN program called Agenda 21 and R2P.  We never allow our politicians bargain our future and our children’s future away in some smarmy backroom deal that enriched only them.  We would be just as lethal and strong as our brave military men and women protecting this great nation from the enemies within, while they were fighting our enemies around the world.

For a short time we were blessed with a warrior named Andrew Breitbart.  God needed him ‘home’ more though, to be a guardian angel.  We have also been blessed with a warrior just as determined and just as articulate with the message of ‘American Exceptionalism’ in Sarah Palin.  I’m so proud to live in this time to witness this awakening with all these ‘tools’ to bring this country back on course with these conservative captains steering our ship.  I will help unfold the sails of freedom and catch every bit of air to fill them.  The beacon has been lit and we WILL avoid the rocks ahead!!!

‘Their greed will be their downfall.  So it’s every hand to their ropes or gun, quicks the word and sharps the action!!  Afterall, freedom is on our side!!!’

    • philip127

      Wow! So well said!

    • Betsey_Ross

We just saw this movie on Thursday.  We went to the early afternoon show.  Usually those shows are empty and we are used to being the only ones in the theater.  Not this time.  While not filled to capacity there were a lot of folks there.

Every American should see this movie.  These Navy Seals are just awesome.  What they do and what they sacrifice for us is so inspiring.  It just gives me hope that this country can be saved and will be saved by Patriots such as these along with the rest of us.  You are so right Spartan when you say that all of us need to know what these guys and gals do for us.  We can and will follow their lead, individually, with our own God-given talents.

  • Freempg

Sarah on fire, yet again, but to what end, "Anybody but Obama?" Sorry, it isn’t going to be Romney for me, that’s where the Governor and I part company. Please spare me the arguments to the contrary. I’ve heard them all. They mean nothing to me. They just enable the GOPE, who is the number one enemy.

  • vicki hulsebus

I must be listening to a different video than the guy who asks "why don"t any of the candidates talk like this"?  Newt has been talking about it (Energy & Alaska) non-stop.  Do you ever go anywhere but this website?  He has a clip on his web all about getting gas down to $2.50 by allowing as much as possible to be done A.S.A.P. in Alaska, and all the other states.  Ms. Palin is a wonderful woman and I’d be behind her 100% if she was running, but she’s not and she has done everything but say I fully endorse NEWT.  Would love it if Palin supporters would actually look Newt up, he’s been working with Palin since the beginning of the TEA PARTY and if you look at his solutions, you’d see they mirror Palin’s views very closely – he’s already said he’d make her head of Energy if she wanted.  You know if she wanted the VP he’d have given it to her long ago.  Gov. Palin’s a wise woman, she’s waiting for 2016 or up to become Pres.  If she’s anywhere in nomination now, MSM would find a way to destroy her.  She’s our wizard behind the curtain.  She’s just smart enough to wait for Tea Party to get strong enough to do it.  Santorum’s disavowed the Tea Party in the beginning.  Romney was nowhere to be seen except with donating (buying endorsements) to certain Tea Party perspectives that could help him in the upcoming nomination.  Thus Nikki Haley, Marco Rubio, and many others that have sold their souls to the GOP Establsihment.  For this all to suceed (Palins Presidency) we need Newt this time around. NEWT is the only one who wants to continue with Gov. Palin’s fight for the America our Fore-fathers gave to us in the Constitution.    Please take the time to visit his site, so we can help her.

    • Freempg

Vicki, for your third post here it is not mannerly to condemn others for things that you know not of. A lot of us will vote for Newt as our second choice should the Governor not get in. We are informed up the wazoo six ways to Sunday about each candidate. You set yourself up to be labeled a Newt troll and dismissed outright, and this is coming from an admirer of Newt, who I hold in the highest esteem, politically, as, I said, a lot of us do. Just tone it down a bit, we are not idiots.

    • aaron66krohn

      Last time I looked, Vicki…….

      this site is called "Conservatives4PALIN"!!!

      The C4Newt" group……..

is three miles down the road…..

      and to the LEFT!!!!!

      But thanks for visiting!!!

    • Christopher H Fromme

Newt’s Super Pac  ‘A Time for Choosing’ has been doing radio ads in the Pittsburgh PA area for a month.I do not think Santorum can win the PA primary, but Newt wpold need to work hard to win the April 24 PA contest for 72 delegates which I hope to be one of them.

    • philip127

Vicki, I agree. Newt is working to put Sarah’s ideas forward. I’m in Ga. and I was going to write-in Sarah, but at this moment I think it is too important not to vote for Newt.

      • Betsey_Ross

We’re all going to have to vote strategically in the primary.  I am sickened at my choices here in VA, but it is what it is.

    • Betsey_Ross

Vicki, please do not take offense at these people that have called you a troll.  They usually aren’t  this touchy.  If you haven’t been lurking for the past 5 months you wouldn’t know the fights that have been going on here about supporting anyone but Sarah.  She told us to move on and many have, but the die hards are still at it.  I pray that she does find a way to run, but I just don’t think it will happen this time.  She just doesn’t show any interest in it.  But she does show interest in saving her country.  She is doing and saying things that she could not do as a candidate.

What you said in your post is right on.  I didn’t take it that you thought we were idiots.  It’s just that we have had that fight and are slowly coming to the conclusion that you did.  Some of us are slower than others and aren’t there yet and will never be.  There isn’t one of us here that doesn’t want her to run. Yes, the Republican Party, Nikki Haley, Marco Rubio, Rand Paul, and even my governor, Bob McDonnell are disappointments, but we must deal with them and overcome their faults.  Will she endorse for President?  I doubt it.  The primary must play out to the end.  If it’s Newt, then so much the better.  It doesn’t look like that will happen.  It looks like we will be stuck with the Mittster.  We will have to drag his @ss across the finish line and make him turn right.  It looks as if we are going to have to give him some core beliefs, too. Right now he doesn’t have any.

Whoever wins this will need a make-over.  It’s just the way it is.  Newt would be the easiest, but the rest are pretty annoyoing and may not take to it well.  It’s pretty depressing and some days are worse than others.  Loosing a Conservative warrior such as Andrew Breitbart is devastating for the time being.  Hopefully, we will be inspired to move on and work harder. Right now it is pretty raw.

  • wpmwindsong

Sarah said that Newt had a teleconference with people in Alaska which was more than anyone else, and she said it a couple of times to his credit.

I would like to see Sarah comment on the report that just showed up on Lucianne .com about how Romney himself talked to Obama in June 2009 promoting the mandate with a penalty for not having insurance in the federal health care bill as something that he did in Massachusetts.   It goes against his claim that Massachusetts is different because it was a state solution.

  • vicki hulsebus

I’m not here to step on toes, I came because I admire and have always admired Gov. Palin.  I’m not a troll.  I like to see what she’s doing.  Recently unemployed so actually can participate in blogs.  Didn’t think this was Members Only.  I’ve been following her as much as the race.    Sorry, left too much of a post.  If you guys are listening to the same thing I am, how do you talk about this interview like she never even comments on any of the candidates and who has our Energy solutions and what’s happening in the GOP race right now in AK.  That’s the point of the interview.  Am I only supposed to listen to how well she speaks and not substance.  With 2 sentence threads of how wonderful she is, it would be nice if you guys elaborate on what it is you want Every Wanna-Be Palin Fan (which I am not a wanna be , I reiterate I admire & am being respectful of the Gov. and have always been a true Palin fan ).  I have said nothing offensive and stuck to the point of the interview.  Yes she looked fabulous – now on to the point of her knowledge and what you think of the content. I’ve said it before I hope she runs in a brokered convention & I’ll back her over Newt.  But the only way we get to that is by doing something now with the candidates we have.  Lesser of three evils is never fun.  Don’t worry though, you an be assured I won’t leave comment again here.  I’ll just shake my head and wonder if this is a beauty contest, or do these people really appreciate her knowledge.  If so think you’d do it in depth.

    • OldPat

Vicki, are you whistling ‘Dixie’ to a bunch of Yankees, or humming ‘Yankee Doodle Dandy’ to a bunch of Southerners?

Truth is, ole Newt does his best work when he takes a gander at Palin’s policy papers and facebook posts on energy before he lays out his plan.

Well, I’ve gotta stop cause I’ve used up my two sentences.

    • sodakhic

I’m not sure why Sarah hasn’t backed Newt totally. I’m just a hic. But the media isn’t going to let the first black President go down in 2012, so we might as well go down fighting and I think Newt would give him and the media a battle, plus Sarah would be engaged in that battle. I don’t see her fighting much for Mitt or Rick.

    • 01_Explorer_01

There is a reason why Newt, Rick, Ron and Mitt do not have 3.5 million facebook supporters, palintv, numerous FOX interviews, about a dozen websites, CPAC closing speeches,  If you want to settle that is fine and your right but the others are mirror imitations at best.  We are still hoping there is a way at a contested convention because people will stay at home in droves if it is left to the picking the current choices.

  • ProudAmerican247

Governor Palin: "We need to replace barack obama with someone who understands…energy security."

If this isn’t a statement by someone who feels she has the vision, the experience, and is in the right place at the right time to be the next president, than I don’t know what is.

Pardon the redundancy, but Sarah Palin is NOT going to accept this ‘pathetic group of dwarves’ as our choices to steer our country away from the cliff of utter economic disaster.

Sarah knows she, alone, has what it takes when it comes to energy security, and that the dwarves don’t have a clue, so why would she sit there and not run?
    She’s gonna RUN.

    PALIN! 2012!

  • Lemuel Vargas

As Sarah Palin  succinctly said,  all the republican nominees are much better than Obama if you only take the time to study their platforms.

In my opinion, Sarah Palin has been and is still an astute and keen observer of political events and thus will follow whoever she endorses in this election and vote accordingly. If she does not endorse, then whoever is the Repub nominee will be my choice.

We can also concentrate on the House and the Senate for a veto-proof majority Tea Party members. Then if Obama wins the Election, he would be forced to work with the Tea Party or he could be overridden by the House and the Senate.

If the Republican Nominee wins the Election, he/she would still be forced to work with the Tea Party or be overriden, too..

Or we could combine the 2 if Sarah Palin is nominated thru a brokered convention..

Just my 5 cents worth of opinion..

  • BrianusBerkleianus

    My Dear Friends in Sarah,
    Happy Saturday to you all!!
Here are some observations on her interview with Greta last night.
Re the primary season: She acknowledges that candidates never come to Alaska.  She says that conditions are too tough for them.  Now, while the tone of this remark may have been tongue-in-cheek to some extent, I think that there was an edge and a point to it: WHO is the one who is hardy and strong enough to bear up under both the physical storms of the winter season in The Great Land and the political storms of an election season in America?  She does not have to spell out the answer; she leaves it to us to do that: S-A-R-A-H …SARAH!!!!
She summarizes the strategic and key place that Alaska holds in our polity, with its riches in natural gas; with its abundance of oil; with its strategic location.  Again, she does not have to SAY it, but we remember who was GOVERNOR of this key State, and who, in part of a term, accomplished more than most governors do in multiple terms!!
Alaskans look at obama’s naïve apologies to SAVAGES in Afghanistan who turn around and kill our soldiers, and they say, "ABO," "Anybody But obama."
Alaskans are tired of the pettiness in the GOP primary process.
It is very important to get a Commander-in-Chief whom our troops deserve.
Alaskans believe in the US Constitution and in their State Constitution.  This State Constitution established that the Forty-Ninth State should be as self-sufficient as possible. But the Feds have impeded and interfered with this principle, especially when it comes to energy development.
William Seward’s dream for Alaska was for her to help secure the Union through her resources.  It is time for the nineteenth-century statesman’s prophetic vision to be realized and fulfilled.
obama manipulates the domestic supply of energy and bows to our enemies: This INFURIATES Alaskans.  Further, his manipulation of US currency is devaluing the dollar–which eventually leads to phenomena like the high price of gas.
We need to replace obama with someone who understands the energy security that is JUST AT OUR FINGERTIPS–and Alaska has a lot to do with that.
Guys, to my eyes, this was as strong a statement that she is going to run as she could make without formally announcing.
The other candidates are not tough enough for the winter climate of The Great Land—by implication,  they are not tough enough for the "winter," hibernal climate of the savage PPD (Politics of Personal Destruction) that are waged by the Chicago thug and his minions.
She emphasized this point via the raging fire that grinned at us from the background during the interview, a fire that was a symbol both of the storms and winter outside, and the fire inside her that can meet and overcome the storm!!
The other candidates cannot come close to matching her record with and experience in ENERGY issues, which she emphasized as paramount and critical to the security of the nation.
Only Sarah, from her lofty seat in the High North Country, takes the long view, as she gazes down with the eyes of the Eagle upon the discomfiture and the crisis of our times!
IMHO, this great interview delivered a subtle but powerful punch!!
    God bless you all always!!
    DEO VOLENTE, SARAH 2012!!!!

    • colliemum

Good morning, and thank you, Sir Brianus!

Like you, I thought what Sarah said about the pettiness of the candidates’ infightings was spot on. It was like a final warning by an exasperated teacher.
Not for nothing did she repeat that the four leftovers (h/t VG1) must focus on Obama’s policies.

Didn’t it feel as if she was ready to roll up her sleeves and go in to show them all how it (beating Obama) should be done?

God bless you, and keep you safe, as He keeps safe your great country and that shining star, Sarah Palin.

      • BrianusBerkleianus

Thank you so much, colliemum, especially for your beautiful prayer for me and for my country!!!!

Edit: And, YES, she is about to roll up those sleeves … and draw her steel!!!

        • colliemum

Thank you, Sir Brianus, for your beautiful, uplifting and inspiring posts.

There are three countries I pray for, daily:
          mine, this sceptred isle*) and our sovereign, our Queen who has served for sixty years with faith and wisdom;
          yours, the United States of America, for being the shiny beacon and bulwark against the dark forces of this world, and for the one who can take your country back to fulfil the roleGod gave you;
and Israel, the land and people of God, the olive tree on which we are grafted.

May He keep us all safe in the shadow of His wings.

*) this is the full quote for ‘sceptred isle':

This royal throne of kings, this sceptred isle,
This earth of majesty, this seat of Mars,
          This other Eden, demi-paradise,
This fortress built by Nature for herself
Against infection and the hand of war,
This happy breed of men, this little world,
This precious stone set in the silver sea,
Which serves it in the office of a wall
Or as a moat defensive to a house,
Against the envy of less happier lands,–
This blessed plot, this earth, this realm, this England.
William Shakespeare, "King Richard II", Act 2 scene 1

          • BrianusBerkleianus

OH, YES, YES, YES, my friend!!!

This is John of Gaunt speaking, is it not?!?

If I may make a personal note, Richard II, not Richard III, was the first of the Bard’s plays I ever read … as a young lad began to discover the deathless treasure of Shakespeare in his father’s  set of the "Yale" Shakespeare (individual volumes on high-quality paper for each play).

The words of that play, including the locus classicus you cite here, have been literary "companions" of mine, have echoed in my ears and in my imagination, for decades and decades.

May the GOOD LORD deliver "This earth, this realm, this ENGLAND" of yours from her present perils, and return her to her glory and strength and Freedom of old.

May He raise up another Churchill or Thatcher for you!!

            God bless!!

  • OldPat

Like the sun that rises in the east, we can always count on you to raise our spirits.  Thank you, Brian.

    • BrianusBerkleianus

      You are most welcome, OldPat.

      God bless!!
