    Good Morning!

I am looking forward to Tuesday Morning myself.

We all know what a masterful communicator Sarah Palin is, but the majority of Americans who normally watch "The Today Show" have no idea of anything they aren’t spoon-fed.

There will be many who watch, and find that the charming, witty, funny and likable lady they see in no way resembles Julianne Moore.

    Game On!

    Everyone have a great day!

    • BrianusBerkleianus

      Ditto x 1,000, my friend!!

  • amaze830

I am not sure why some people on C4P are worried that Gov. Palin will be a guest host on "Today" on Tuesday.  If she is planning to run for office in the future, she would eventually have to face the liberal LSM.  Gov. Palin will do fine on the "Today" show.

    • Right_Wingnut

I agree. The handwringing reminds me of when it was announced that she would appear on Oprah.

      • palin45potus

        Do you remember this?

"Im afreyd fore Sara, Opruh wil make hur looke dumn!"

        • susiepuma

Yeah – whatever happened to him/her – can’t remember the name – used to be on the old blog all the time – I always thought it was really another palinista posting just to show how stupid people can be…………………………….

    • ResearchIsImperative

Unless there is sabotage; but, then we know the Guv. is masterful at ad-lib……..
She won’t have restraints like she did in ’08………She smacks back so hard and fast that they don’t know what hit them ’til much later; if they are smart enough to realize it then……….of course, with her renowned savoir faire……..

      • lastarza

Let’s hope she has complete control over the editorial content presented. She’s too smart not to allow another Couric ambush. So, I believe she will come out of it shining and enlisting quite a few new Palinistas.

    • Pete Petretich

      She might freakin’ take over!

    • mark1955

She has no problems at all when she does live interviews.Governor Palin is a brilliant policy analyst with a photo graphic mind, who can make mincemeat out of anyone if they step out of line and they all know it! Hence,Dana Perino’s and Bob Beckel’s,complete intimidation when she appeared live with them,by surprise on FNC.That’s why Matt Lauer,Wolf Blitzer and anyone else who has done live interviews with Sarah, doesn’t dare cross her during these interviews,or she can do major damage to their careers,by showing them up.Believe me,their the ones who are nervous and intimidated, not Palin! The only thing Governor Palin has to worry about with the media,is the taped interviews, where they can splice them to make her look bad.She is going to come out of this looking better than ever!

    • MarkRNY

It wouldn’t be C4P without handwringing. Well, shows concern for Sarah.

  • Jean_A

    Good morning, C4P!

    I stand with Sarah Palin.

    • BrianusBerkleianus

      Good morning, Jean!

      I stand with Sarah Palin.

  • Right_Wingnut

If I recall, the liberal Hack, Matt Lauer actually treated her fairly in her past appearances on the Today Show.

    • pipam12

yes he did , but I can’t stand him

      • blueniner

He is the Chia Pet man………..

    • friskyness

He has been inside her house….So Sarah must like him………..or tolerate him.

    • Pete Petretich

I don’t regularly watch Today, but it’s hard for me to imagine Lauer acting as a conniving backstabber the way Couric and so many other MSM personalities have.

      • free4now

It’s live and therein lies the difference between Tuesday and the ‘Perty’ One’s hashover

        • free4now

Lol – I said ‘perty’ on purpose – it means the same as ‘perky’ but isn’t a real word and is also synonymous with:

activistic, aggressively self-confident, arch, arrogant, audacious, bantam, biggety, bluff, bold, brash, brassy, brazen, bumptious, challenging, cheeky, chesty, chutzpadik,
cocky, conceited, contemptuous, crusty,  defiant, defying, derisive, disdainful, disregardful, disrespectful,  facy, flip, flippant, forward,  gally, gay, gratuitous,  ill-mannered, immodest, impertinent, impolite, impudent, insolent, know-it-all, malapert, militant, nervy, obtrusive, out of line,
          overwise, peacockish, peacocky,
          peart, perk, perky,
presumptuous, puffed up, quicksilver, regardless of
          consequences, rude,
          sassy, saucy, self-conceited,
          self-opinionated, smacking,
          smart-alecky, smart-ass, stuck-up, swelled-headed, uncalled-for, uncivil, unmannerly, wise-ass”

          Yep – Couric is ‘pert’

    • IsraeliCojones

Yeah but then, he did something ugly.

When the Stalker moved in next door, and Todd built the Fence, he went there and run his mouth saying Sarah was like a Nazi or somethin’. Matt Lauer wrote to the Palins to have them respond to this creep and be quoted during the show. The Palins worked on it and sent their statement.

Finally the Stalker gave his interview without any Palin statement being shown.

When the Palins came back to the Lauer team, they were given lame excuses and an invitation to give an interview if they wanted to respond to the creep. Which – said Sarah – was their goal in the first place (baiting them). She was a bit furious, IIRC.

Lauer is a mofo of the first order.

When Sarah shows up all the children behave.  They act like their mothers taught them.  Sarah just makes  you want to be a better person.  She is so charming and goodness just flows from her.  For one brief shining moment when these Libs are in her presense they act like real human beings.  I’ll bet Matt will be on his best behavior because he knows he was a jerk before.  Even if he isn’t Sarah will treat him with grace and respect even if she has to plunge in the knife.

    • lastarza

She put him through the wringer when he tried to challenge her on the Alaskan pipe line. A masterful fact-filled answer to a dumb news reader.

  • pipam12

once NBC sees how high their ratings go they may very well ask her back again and again

    • Hyman Roth

    • Pete Petretich

Some GOPe’s would like to shunt her off to talk show city to be a new Oprah, but if she manages this well then maybe it could become a once-a-week thing so that she would still have mobility for politics.

Maybe "Today" will replace the Fox Rino News Network?

  • UnhyphenatedAmericanVet

A FB friend posted awhile back on Sarah’s page that if she wanted to send the earthquakers a message that whe could use the code "game on" again and we would know that she was getting in soon, well read the tea leaves if you want to, but this msg was left on a recent post of Sarah’s. If you want to, just go and leave her a message "Earthquake…Game on" as many have already!

  • Bill589

    "Game On"

It’s that in-your-face gutsiness of Sarah’s that just might make ‘ovaries’ the new organs that represent courage.  I don’t see her bowing to Putin with promises of being ‘more flexible’ after elections.

And it reminds me of something else she once said, "It starts here. It starts now. Mr. President. Game On!"

    Merely coincidence?

  • blueniner

Sarah on The Today Show= Like Tammy said in The Undefeated, "Sarah runs towards danger like a Marine". Sarah will do herself and all of us proud. She needs to branch out, I think CNN helped her in the public view. This will help her favorables, especially after that Game Change debacle.

    • lastarza

This  is a "shot across the bow" to the GOPE to let them know this is the first step towards taking the chairmanship of the RNC.

  • Journeymen

Sarah isn’t trying to reach the conservative, liberal or independent voters involved in politics already on Tuesday but those who are casual and/or indifferent to politics only up until it’s election time. We probably got more conservatives nervous about her doing Oprah’s, Leno’s, Long Island Association Q&A and VP debates …etc where she was on unfriendly turf and she actually excelled in them better than going on Fox analyzing some election. It’s only for one day according to Sarah and it doesn’t negates her plans if she has any to fight for the nomination. To be clear, this is a perfect counter-punch to HBO where people can she her "live" and in person on NBC that will get heavy coverage compared to a movie that makes her almost unable to tie her shoe. Get it?

  • Right_Wingnut

We can expect a huge influx of trolls over the next few days. Many will be new posters claiming to be Palin supporters who are "disappointed" in her decision to co-host the Today Show. The same thing happened when I was at Team Sarah before the Oprah interview.

    • Right_Wingnut
      • Bill589

Rebel doesn’t know Sarah very well.
If he did, he would know that Sarah is the opposite of most all other politicians.
The more that people know Sarah Palin, and know about her, the more people like her.
It’s that natural consequence of having the truth on her side.
        Too rare, in politicians.

I think Rebelyelp is Julia.  She is a Romney troll. When she talks about Rush and Sarah, she repeats the exact same talking points as Julia.  Ask her about Santorum, she hates him with a passion.

    • Hyman Roth

Awww RW…Team Sarah and troll slaying (before the mods over there got huge sticks up their a$$es)…those were the days!

Excuse me while I do a little Pentangeli: "Those were the great old days!  And we was like the Roman empire!  The conservative family was like the Roman empire!"

      • Right_Wingnut

I was "Palin ’12″ at Team Sarah. I was banned shortly after the Oprah interview for troll hunting. I’ve since been banned two more times for absolutely no reason under "Right Wingnut."

      • Right_Wingnut

        Is Bluesman still at TS?

        • Hyman Roth

Not sure.  I stopped going there after October last year, felt this would be a better place to focus my efforts.

          • Right_Wingnut

I posted some extremely pro-Palin blogs entries over there last summer. Problem is, very few people are there to read them, and unless you’re a member, you can’t access the site. I’m still not sure why I was banned again.

            • Hyman Roth

Yeah I remember you going back on last year.  Hey TS was the place to be back in late 08 and through most of 09.  Things eventually slowed–as they have been here lately, I’m afraid.

          • ProudAmerican247

That’s about the time I left TS too. The mods were too strict with what words could be used.

            Like: "crap"…give me a break!

I recall Sarah using it quite often.

That’s what they get for "over-disciplining".

  • Freempg

Isn’t that Katie Couric’s old job?

    • Hyman Roth

YOOOU have a gift, my friend!

      • Rightmindedmom

So do you, Hyman Roth.  I always got a laugh when you would post a clip from "The Godfather", as it relates to Sarah, on Team Sarah.  I was so depressed after the 2008 election, and it lasted about a year.  One of the only things that lifted me up during that time (other than prayer) was your video clips.  I thank you, kind sir.

    • Pete Petretich

Couric is one of many Palin-haters who got fancy new jobs after they trashed Sarah and then FAILED at that new job. Now Sarah is moving into position…

  • DannydeGracia2

Just wanted to say that I support and appreciate and thank Sarah Palin for always being an inspiration and I hope in the future she can have a role in our government and continue to lead! I look forward to the day when we have a President Palin.

    • John Jones

      Great article Danny…

  • ZH100

    Good morning all.

Here are some interviews with Gov.Palin "outside Fox".

Governor Palin’s Interview with Robin Roberts (Nightline Version) – December 16 2010

An hourlong, unscripted Q&A session where Governor Palin talked about the economy, the deficit, government spending, gun control, the environment, the rising cost of food, energy, Egypt and other foreign policy related issues in front of a group of socially liberal Democrats and Republicans in an area where the Democrat Party is strong.

Governor Palin’s (unscripted) Q&A at the India Today Conclave

Governor Palin Talks To CNS NEWS About Raising The Debt Ceiling

Governor Palin Talks About Energy – CTV News – December 2008

Sarah Palin talks to CNN at the fair

  • John Jones

I just put this on the other post. WOW!!!  You know Sarah is up to something very big.  It starts here.
She could take it (getting even) but Sarah has to much grace for that.
She is going to be stealing hearts and minds on both sides.  I could
just see the Bush’s  head popping and as someone eluded to O’s fetal
position and she’ll do it with smile, Our Sarah Smile and that twinkle
in her eye.  And that rally call’s  coming soon folks. Ye ha  Sarah
Palin roller coaster called the DC dazzler.

  • carmtom13

Rove, GOP establishment and Romney phone lines must be burning up. Probably BHO, Axelrod and crew are probably doing the same. Governor Palin co-hosting the Today show must be driving them all crazy. You betcha it is!

    • Pete Petretich

It’s got a lot of people talking.

Do Barbara Bush and all her Texas ladyfriends watch Today or do they watch the sun rise over the oil fields?

      • mark1955

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know if the Bush’s have sold that ranch in Crawford Texas they used as a prop? You know the one where W used to pretend he was a mini-Reagan by clearing brush and wearing his Reagan cowboy hat? I don’t believe they use it anymore, since W left the Presidency and moved to the Dallas area.I wonder if Jeb will be using the ranch to also pretend he’s one of the Hoi-Polloi?

        • senator20526

          W moved to Dallas…..

          • mark1955

Thanks for the correction! I’ll change that!

    • atl1rds

      GAME ON

She is after all of them at once.

      Katie Couric- nightstick smackdown
BOR & FOX – her ratings will dwarf theirs

And a perfect venue to challenge BHO to a debate. She lives in his head and is coming to clean house.

    PALIN 2012

    • BrianusBerkleianus

      YES, ProudAmerican!!

  • Pete Petretich

Like Stalin and Hitler Mitt Romney is a serial liar and a confirmed baby killer. Why should I ever trust him or vote for him?

In a similar way, like Stalin and Hitler, Obama is a serial liar and a confirmed a confirmed baby killer. Why should I ever trust him or vote for him?

A more timely comparison is Bashar al-Assad the dictator of Syria. The way Assad has recently treated non-conformist Syrians very much reminds me of the way Romney is treating members of the Republican party. I don’t have to stand for this or accept it in any way!

    • barracuda43

Drinking heavy tonight Pete?Comparing Romney to Hitler or Stalin is pretty far out on the cliff!

      • Pete Petretich

If I could afford to I would certainly drink more beer but I am still extremely poor and underemployed. I disagree about the comparison. The similarities are multitudinous.

The comparison to Stalin, who was the role model for "Big Brother" in 1984, really hit home with me when Romney systematically paid his droogies to falsify history about Santorum’s and Gingrich’s long history of fighting for the conservative movement.

    • ZH100

Pete, comparing Romney with Stalin , Hitler or Bashar is the most bizarre comment I have read.

Those people were awful dictators who oppressed , tortured and killed millions of their own people.

You can disagree with Romney on his politics but comparing him with Hitler , Stalin or Bashar is absurd and very offensive towards the victims of those dictators.

      • Pete Petretich

When it comes to legal abortion AKA war against the unborn, I think the comparison stands.

        • ZH100

Then you have lost your sense of reality.

    • TexS2012

Mitch McConell (sp) saying we have to go with the front runner/Romney. Surprise! lol.

  • Pete Petretich

I wonder if she will mention Breitbart during Today…

  • BrianusBerkleianus

    My Dear Friends in Sarah,

Happy Palm Sunday to you all!!

With you all, I am excited by her upcoming appearance on the "Today" show.

We have stood by her side all through her many battles. I know, for example, that on 2 October, 2008, as she prepared to face Joe Biden in the VP debate, we prayed and prayed and prayed, "all throughout that long October day"!!! It was the same the month before, the night of the RNC acceptance speech. It was the same for many events subsequent to the ’08 campaign.

So, as the Governor enters upon her "Battle of ‘Today’," let us again stand with her, but not just on this "Today," but on every today–for every single day is "today" as we pass through and traverse it.

Further, we KNOW that she can use our spiritual support for events like Tuesday’s appearance. However, undoubtedly she is going to have some crucial decisions to make, in the secret places of her counsels and her heart, and we do not know precisely on which "today" these determinations will have to be made.

Therefore, let us be on constant "watch" and "vigil" for her, as these momentous days and weeks and months of the Year of Grace and of Fate 2012 unfold.

I offer below the remarks I made many, many months ago on p. 48 of her wonderful book, Going Rogue.

I will be very busy during this coming Holy Week, leading up to Easter Sunday, but I hope to see you all a little bit, especially after the "Today" appearance.

    God bless you all always!!

On p. 48 of Going Rogue Sarah tells us what a great relief it was for her, after years of partial separation from Todd, to grab her college diploma, and "beat feet back to Alaska, happy to be in the same state as Todd." (It’s an interesting coincidence that, on page forty-eight, she leaves the Lower Forty-Eight to return to the Great Land!)

She continues, "I joined him on the Bristol Bay fishing grounds. During slow salmon runs with Todd, I worked messy, obscure seafood jobs, including long shifts on a stinky, shore-based crab-processing vessel in Dutch Harbor. Another season, I sliced open fish bellies, scraped out the eggs, and plopped the roe into packaging….Practically every kid in Alaska has spent at least one summer working some kind of ‘slime line.’ "

We might be tempted to say, even to feel, "Yuck" as we read these words–it sure sounds smelly!! Sarah’s own senses, especially her olfactory ones, probably clamored out "Yuck" as she sweated out her long, long hours!! And this is only natural. Our five senses are "ordered to" (in the technical, philosophical sense), they are formed for, directed towards, particular sensory phenomena–and these phenomena are not always pretty!

However, as human beings, we possess, by the disposition of a Loving Creator, a "hierarchy" of faculties, each one ORDERED TO (again, "technical" sense) ITS OWN PROPER SPECIES OF OBJECT. I would like to consider and contemplate this tableau of our Sarah and of her humble, difficult work, in the light of several gradations of faculties and their "ordering": Sarah’s senses as she did this work; her mind and heart as she did this work; OUR minds and hearts as we read her vivid account of the work. Then I will have some final reflections and thoughts.

Our senses are ordered to individual, physical, sensory phenomena, as was noted above.

Our minds are ordered to what is REAL, what is TRUE.

Our wills, our hearts are ordered to what is GOOD.

Surely, as she labored and sweated and even suffered physically in the execution of her onerous duties, our Sarah at the same time perceived in her mind that she was doing good, honest work, for an honest wage. And even more surely, in the realization of this truth, with her will she embraced and even loved the great GOOD of performing honest labor for an honest, clean dollar–the fishing vessel and the other things are "stinky," but the money, the money is clean! The mind perceives the FACT of JUSTICE; the heart, if that heart be pure, embraces the GOOD of it!

So then, in this utterly HUMAN scene, we see that mysterious juxtaposition of the physically filthy and the morally sublime that is one of the seals and marks of our human condition.

What about us as we read this account?

While our vividly playful faculties of imagination might tempt us to recoil and to say "Yuck," as I noted above, when we apply the mastering and majestic faculties of mind and of heart to this scene, we admire the brave, hard-working Sarah, we praise her…we love her!!

I have some further thoughts to add.

The Psalmist says, ELEGI ABJECTUS ESSE IN DOMO DEI MEI MAGIS QUAM HABITARE IN TABERNACULIS PECCATORUM–"I have chosen to be lowly in the house of my God, rather than to dwell in the tents of sinners." David also says "MELIOR EST DIES UNA IN ATRIIS TUIS SUPER MILLIA–"better"–far better!!- "is one day in thy courts above thousands (of days elsewhere)."

Guys, if I were given the choice, I would choose to stand by Sarah Palin’s side, working, let’s say, a "slime line" under the vaulted skies of the Great Land for very moderate, but honest, wages rather than to work for someone like barack obama…no matter how much money and power I might be offered by the Chicago usurper and thug. I know you all feel the same way!

I would prefer the slimy, stinky, smelly fishing boats of Alaska to the perfumed halls and privileged porticos and penthouses of cowards and traitors who have sold out their country for filthy lucre…whose dollars are dirty; whose minds are dark; whose souls are black.

Finally, I have a few thoughts about Kate Gosselin and the camping trip from that marvelous episode of "Sarah Palin’s Alaska" that I am sure you all remember.

What a tragic choice Kate made, in my opinion, when, in exchange for a few hours of warmth and comfort in a hotel room (or wherever), she forsook and abandoned, for herself AND FOR HER KIDS, the golden chance to spend a night with the beautiful Palin/Heath family, to huddle around the campfire with them, to play "Charades" with them, to hear tales of the Great Land from them under an Alaskan high summer’s midnight mantle!!!

I know that I speak for every one of us here when I say that we would have endured any rain, suffered any cold, tolerated any discomfort or discomfiture to be there in the company of the First Family of Alaska and of America on that magical, mystical night!!

Guys, I think we go astray as human beings when we either overvalue or ignore the physical part of our nature.

We are neither (mere) animals, nor angels.

We stand on feet of clay…and lift up the sparks of our minds, our spirits, our hearts to the True North of all that is finest, is noblest, is most beautiful in Our Lord’s creation.

    • Rightmindedmom

What beautiful words, Brianus!  You are an inspiration.  I love that you see the light of God in Sarah, as many of us do, and aren’t afraid to say so, repeatedly.

I believe God still has a plan for Sarah, and it isn’t just to be a pundit.  These are actions that are changing hearts and minds, and possibly reaching people that have a distorted view of her now, but after Tuesday will view her more favorably.  God’s will be done.

      Mom in Wisconsin

      • BrianusBerkleianus

        Thank you so much, Mom!!

Yes, I do believe that He has a plan for Sarah and for America, and, as you say, it is not that she be just a mere pundit.

Let us pray about the Tuesday appearance.

        HIS will be done.

        God bless!!

        • Sharon May

why was she asked to be on the Today show?  whats the reason for her going on the show?  is there a purpose for her being on the show and again who and why is she going that show?

          • BrianusBerkleianus

I suspect that, in particular, retrospect will reveal the plan and purpose here.

I think that many Americans, who have been prejudiced against Sarah by the relentless media assaults on her fair name and reputation, may give her a second look after Tuesday!!

    • USMAgrandma

Sir, Brianus, your words flow like magic to all of us who love the Palins.  Thanks be to God for giving you that marvelous gift of expression that inspires us all.

      • BrianusBerkleianus

Thank you and God bless you, USMAgrandma!!
