Hannity Special: McCain Camp Didn’t Vet Obama; Palin Thought That Was a Mistake

Sean Hannity hosted a panel on his show last night, to discuss Barack Obama’s history, in his "own words." Stephen K. Bannon was a member of that panel, and reminded viewers (around the 3:30 mark) that the McCain campaign failed to vet Obama during the 2008 presidential election:

The decision to not vet the current president in 2008 by Steve Schmidt and other incompetent individuals within the McCain camp, played a role in outcome in that race. Governor Palin knew the American people deserved to know the facts about Obama’s history and associations. Schmidt & Co. simply wouldn’t allow it, and the result is the current failed leadership directing the executive branch of the nation’s federal government today.

I see a smoking gun with Schmidts fingerprints on it

The only thing still missing is that this guy was on the payroll of soros or the obama campaign and if he wasn’t it is 100% proof he is a complete idiot

  • Pete Petretich

Schidt/Wallace were always agents of the Bush Clan. He was a junior achiever in their 2004 campaign and she worked in the White House communications office.

More people need to know this! Also, it should be documented publicly…

    (Wikipedia?)

    • HuntingMoose

I think your comment to drag Bush in this is not really helping but only helping obama deflect again.

I know you are not but your comments would be worthy of an obama troll trying to inject some BS in this very clear revelation.

The insiders and establishment wanted mc cain and did not want obama because that would remove them further from power.

If you want to go for conspiracies, it is much more likely that a low life character as Schmidt (as we now know) would have double crossed mcCain and sold out to Obama camp or Soros. That is something I would like to be investigated. Anyone access to his tax return?

      • http://www.facebook.com/people/Pete-Petretich/100002088167892 Pete Petretich

If the Bush wants to blame Sarah for the 2008 loss (and that is exactly what has been happening) then why shouldn’t we blame the Bush Clan for their notorious failures?

For 12 years they sat atop the Executive branch and NEVER did they cut the damn budget! Also, Bush 43 bought into that FANNIE/ FREDDIE mortgage boondoggle just as much as any Democrat.

Why shouldn’t I speak the truth? Why shouldn’t we all?

They started this! The Bush Clan wants to cover their sorry butts by blaming everything on Sarah. Does anyone really doubt this?

        • HuntingMoose

ok, I see your different point. I was referring to the actions of low life schmidt during the 2008 campaign, not what happened after.

what happened after, who knows, schmidt may know some insider details on the bush campaigns that made them keep a soft stance.

but stating that the fannie/freddie boondoggle is bush fault is an absolute lie.

as I see it, in 2001 Bush got the choice of either coward and not put his presidency on the terror thread or as he did, be the commander in chief and act on his primary duty. And along the way, yes, he made quite a few compromises but you have to look at who was the driving force behind those things.

It was not Bush, it was the democrats pushing him under threat of not funding the armed forces sufficiently.

Bush had his priorities right, something clearly Obama and many of those abusive democrats do not have.

          • lastarza

W had the advice of Bush Sr., Cheney, Rove, Rice,Powell, Rumsfeld and other experienced aides. BHO surrounds himself with incompetents.

            • HuntingMoose

I wish it was just incompetents.

the are marxist or worse. don’t underestimate them, with every passing day they further destroy this country at a speed an incompetent could never achieve.

        • DarkTides2

          Bravo!

      • golfmom3

No. That does not make any sense as the GOPe has covered that dummie’s rear since before the campaign ended (Breibart had the PR memo I think). You need to take a step back here and look at the Bush family maneuvers since George HW was in office. There’s a lot more to worry about ("friendly" fire) from the GOPe that you seem to trust.

        • HuntingMoose

I was referring explicitly to the idea that Bush and the establishment would be happy that McCain lost.

that they have not yet investigated Schmidt is likely more ignorance than intend.

    • mark1955

Nicolle Wallace didn’t just," work in the White House communication’s office",she was the Director of communications. Also,Wallace got that job after the 2000 Presidential Florida re-count,where she was Jebbies press spokesman. Steve Schmidt’s was also no small player for W. He was co-head of oppo research ( Dirty tricks )  along with Matt Rhoades,( who currently runs MITTEN’S campaign ),for George W.Bush’s 2004 re-election campaign. The Bushies planted him inside MITTEN’S campaign back in 2008. All roads point to the Bushies!

      • wisetrog

Okay so they planted SChmidt inside Mccain’s camp and they planted Rhoades inside ROmney’s camp to take them down both to clear the way for Jeb.

        • mark1955

Yeah, that’s about it. Except you forgot to mention Nicolle Wallace and how she bought the $100,000 dollars worth of clothes unbeknownst to Sarah and then had the story planted that Sarah bought them because she was a "Diva". Also how Wallace and Schmidt’s arranged the recorded interviews withj Charles Gibson and Katie Couric, recorded instead of live, because they could be spliced to make her look bad, which they did. How Sarah was locked in her Hotel rooms and not allowed to go for a run and denied contact with her family.

You also didn’t mention how Schmidt’s hired a voice coach to try and change her accent in an effort to confuse and destroy her even more,or how they wouldn’t let her ever deviate at all from McCain’s position’s making her feel even more hemmed in.

How she begged to do interviews with talk show host’s and local tv and radio stations,to create a personal local connection with voters and was denied.

Every single action Schmidt’s ands Wallace took was to the detriment of the McCain/Palin campaign and was exactly what you would be doing if you were trying to destroy it from the inside. Who benefit’s from their actions and at the same time has a sick, twisted, malevolent desire to have a familial dynasty on the republican Presidency? Why,their "former" employer,The Bush family!

      • http://twitter.com/PetePetretich PetePetretich

Thanks for those details! Regardless of what Sarah does with her career we need to fully document this kind of thing.

Maybe this would be a good C4P project? Or maybe the Breitbart sites?

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Cricket-Nichols/100001941164083 Cricket Nichols

As a result of Obama not being vetted, we know nothing about him.  Seems like Romney is making the same mistake.  Romney believed in trashing his Republican opponents, but thinks it is wrong to talk about Rev. Wright and the real Barack Obama.  I don’t know how the McCain people could blame Sarah, when they ran the worst campaign in history.

    • carmtom13

This is what Schmidt and Wallace do to save their butts, blame someone else. They are like BHO blame everyone but themselves.

  • BostonBruin

One of the big reasons why I can’t support Romney is because of his belief that Obama is a nice guy who is simply in over his head. Either Romney is totally clueless or he is too much of a coward to admit that the President is a Marxist who is deliberately destroying the country.

Either way, if Romney can’t properly confront Obama or discern his intentions, how can he deal effectively with countries like China that want to undermine our economy or deal with ruthless leaders like Chavez or Putin?

    • HuntingMoose

I have a hard time second guessing FlipFlop.

The guy has meticulously prepared for this 2012 election even before Sarah was in play. He has shown , very hard to admit but it is true, a lot of dedication and careful orchestrating and killing off his opponents which is not something that happened by just some luck but hard work

Not going after obama on these issues is indeed extremely puzzling but if there is one thing i have learned from this guy, what he is saying is not always what he is and will be doing. He earned his nickname flipflop for a reason.

Rush mentioned some time ago that he had a one on one with flipflop and said he was pretty impressed with the absolute dedication and wanting to become president.

I think i am just going to wait and see his strategy unfold

      • Kalena

I really believe Romney doesn’t want to get sucked down into the sinkhole that will allow Obama to define his candidacy.  Now bear in mind, I really loathe the guy but let’s be objective here.  The opponent to Obama HAS to stay on Obama’s record in office.  While Obama is a scumbag of major proportions, everything prior to 2008 is really not the point NOW.  We have enough to hang this guy.

46 million people on food stamps, a 50% increase since he took office.  Obama is endorsing POVERTY with his policies.

Gasoline has more than doubled since he took office.  I looked at my record book this week and noticed that I filled my tank at a price of about $1.69 early in 2009.  Last week it was $3.89.  NO ONE in the press is talking about this.  Remember in 2008 when gas went over $4.25 a gallon, the press screamed about it forever?

How many millions of people are no longer working compared to when he took office?  That statistic needs to be trumpeted LOUDLY in ads.

He doubled our deficit.  We need to put that in terms of how much extra debt he piled on to each family since he took office.  People need to see that in those terms, not in the 15 TRILLION DOLLARS terms.  They can’t relate to that.  I clicked on the headlines article that discusses the debt. I did the math. According to the census bureau we have 117 million households. When Obama took office, we owed about $68,000 per household. Now it is $134,000 per household. We need to ask every voting American if their household budget has room to pay off a $134,000 unsecured loan taken out on their behalf by the federal government. Of course the answer would be NO. If that were a mortgage on a 2nd home, that monthly payment would be:$640 a month, for 30 years at 4% APR interest.

Holder, those negative ads can write themselves.  Did we ever think we would have a more incompetent Attorney General after Janet Reno?  This guy is not incompetent.  I think he knows exactly what he is doing.  I believe he is dangerous.

Obamacare?  We need to hang that around his neck.

I believe all of these "likeability" polls and approval rating polls of Obama have a huge Bradley affect built into the responses.  Go to the drudge report today, click on the lead story and then read the responses to the yahoo article.  3 years ago, the commenters were still slobbering over Obama.  Now the reverse is true.

Unfortunately, this was the election cycle we could have had a Reagan landslide wipeout.  But for some inexplicable reason, the right people did not run.  I believe most of them (minus Sarah), are inside the bubble of elitism and did not properly have their hand on the pulse of the heartland of America.

Sarah always has, but she had to climb out of the deep hole that the establishment threw her into with the unrelenting attacks that began the day she debuted in Dayton, OH.  It is tragic.

The only thing I can think of is that God has plans for her, but this election cycle was not in that plan.  She will work hard to get more constitutionalists into office, THEN she can run in 2016 and have a working majority in Congress to get the right stuff done.  Meanwhile, Romney can beat Obama, and get the blame for the mess we are going to be in as we try to derail Obama’s "legacy" of American destruction.

        • Patriot41

Excellent thought process Kalena and on the mark.  One thing that must be kept in mind as part of Romney’s strategy, he must try to influence as many of Obama’s initial supporters as possible.  He cannot just step up to the plate and trash Obama and expect to get those who are now in doubt of their choice for change the last time around.  He has to stick to the statistical realities of the last three and a half years and visibly point out the amateur mistakes made by the socialist in the White House.

      • wisetrog

Actually that is pro forma for these moderate RInos. Conservatives can be treated with impunity but liberals should be treated with kid gloves.

        • HuntingMoose

conservatives tend to have a thicker skin and look at the end result. In this case. Obama out of the whitehouse.

we just continue elect true conservatives and sound people to replace all the frauds and establishment

    • lyndaaquarius

But we can all easily see President Palin dealing with them.  She demonstrated such savvy and strength when dealing with powerful oil companies on behalf of the Alaskan people. Look at all the benefit she brought to Alaska!  I’m watching her methodically reconfigure the levers of power in our government, one election at a time. Millions of us trust and support her. I’m very hopeful about our country’s future!

  • palin45potus

Between that and having McCain fly back to DC in order to accept the blame for the stock market meltdown, what did Schmidt do that wasn’t in direct opposition to the actual needs of the campaign?

Throw in the immediate rolling out of disgruntled GOP backstabbers like Noonan and Trotta right out of the gate, the mysterious broken teleprompter, the interviews that were set-ups from the start, the disastrous debate prep by Mark Wallace (Who seemed to be trying to set her up for failure until Cindy McCain intervened and got her out to AZ, had Joe Lieberman spend some Prayer time with her, and allowed her to prepare in a positive environment) the "Throwing in the towel" the next day in Michigan, the failure to contest PA and OH.

Follow all of this up with the GOP insiders trashing her to the press 2 week before the election, and then working hand in hand with the Dems to bankrupt her in Alaska.

    My only question is this:

When will Sarah Palin walk away from this abusive relationship?

Sarah, the GOP destroyed Reagan’s legacy, and they want to destroy you.

They are socialists who want to ruin the USA we grew up in, and replace it with what you described at CPAC as "Obama’s America".  They are a part of that scam, and they hate you and us.

    • HuntingMoose

For the sake of our sanity, can someone start investigating schmidt?

His advice on critical moments does not add up unless the guy was bribed at some point. Everyone can be bought so why not him

    • carmtom13

Governor Sarah is one tough lady and loves this country and will fight tooth and nail for it. She will not allow the GOP to get away with what they are doing. The GOP does not realize what they are up against with Governor Sarah and us. She not only is a threat to the libs, she is a big threat to the DC GOP elite establishment and the proof is in the pudding.

      • lyndaaquarius

Every word you write is so true! Her strength and effectiveness only increase. She’s hard wired for victory. Remember she’s UNDEFEATED !

        • palintologist

    • virginiagentleman1

Exactly right Mom, that disastrous decision making continues today in the form of Romney. I don’t believe that he is even trying to win this election. He’s just going through the motions.

  • socon

The weasels Wallace and Schmidt were in large part responsible for our loss in 2008.  RINO GWB was dead-weight, too.

Sarah was the only bright spot, the only winner in that debacle.

  • http://nolp.blogspot.com/ davidfarrar

So who is going to vet Mitt Romney?

As I see it, his father "George" was born in Mexico while his father, Gaskell,  was at least  an expatriotated US Citizen, if not a Mexican national by 1907.

Come on Sarah; there is plenty of time to address the fact that the political elites of this country have been trying to change the meaning of an Article II "natural born" Citizen for a long time now. Once you allow the government to define what a "natural born" Citizen is, you are giving the plenary authority of government the power to create a "ruling class". I would hope and pray this would bother Sarah and her supporters as much as it does me.

Why was this and other critical decisions left up to no-name Washington staffers to make?

McCain was weak.  Big surprise there.

    • lonestar

      McCain wanted to be liked.

      • socon

Wonder how that’s workin’ out for the old fool.

  • carmtom13

I said it before and i will say it again Governor Sarah is the one of the smartest political savvy people to come along in many, many years. Schmidt and Wallace were not competent to run the campaign and Governor Sarah knew it. They gave McCain bad advice to suspend his campaign to go to DC, down by 2 or 3 points in Michigan they advise McCain to give up on Michigan. Governor Palin did not want to give up on Michigan but was over ruled by those incompetent fools. These 2 numbskulls did not have a clue and McCain should have gotten rid of them when he realized what was going on, but the fool listened to the amatuers instead of Governor Sarah who was not allowed to talk to McCain and this is why we are in the mess we are in. When BHO and his crew of libs saw what a threat Governor Sarah was that’s when they started going after her big time and to this day still do. The DC elite GOP have joined with them and I think the establishment candidate has also. What a bunch of no class ignoramus idiots!!

    • wpmwindsong

In my view, McCain and his unprofessional campaign staff were criminally culpable in letting Obama win and destroy America when they had the best resource at their disposal to be victorious.

      • carmtom13

        I totally agree with you.

    • socon

Not only is Sarah the smartest, most charismatic pol around, her political instincts are dead on.  She’s courageous, too.

Sarah Palin has it all.  What a tragedy for our country that she’s not our nominee.
I’m still pissed off about it.

    • Quit_or_Work

      Interesting observation.

McCain spent 5-1/2 years in a communist prison to protect your right to talk about him like that. And if he had not selected former governor Palin as his running mate, the website you are posting it on would not even exist.

      Gratitude v.2012?

      • watchdogmom

do some research and find out the truth on why he got out of this prison and left his buddies there to rot. I imagine the truth is all scrubbed by now. I once upon a time held this guy on a pedestal also. He just authored the "National Defense Authorization Act" IMO everyone that signed it is guilty of treason, and this is not the only thing. He is shoving the NWO down our throats, boy he likes it,wants it even calls the Libyans "my people" he makes me sick. This is why he wants illegal immigration so bad he can taste it. He belongs in Leavenworth with the rest of the Communists in D.C.

        • Quit_or_Work

Since you seem to have expert knowledge on his imprisonment after being shot down over North Vietnam while serving in the US armed forces….please tell us the unscrubbed "truth".

          • watchdogmom

I strenously encourage you to do your own in depth research, should you be so inclined to learn more. I have went over these politicians with a fine tooth comb for the last 3 1/2 years. I hold our current and past military members right next to God. Unfortunately, John McCain has taken serious advantage of America’s Patriotism, along with the rest of D.C.’s politicians. The unsuspecting public!  The rot and corruption runs so deep. History is about to repeat itself. I pray we make it out of this one.

      • Exgunman

As they say, But what have you done for me lately????? "NO ONE" takes away McCains service to this country, Hell Benedict Arnold was of great service to this country up to a point and "Everyone"acknowledges That he did introduce Sarah to the country, but he has layed on his laurels long enough and ever since he became a politician he has been on the wrong side of most issues he has been involved with, see McCain-Feingold, (Unconstitutional) Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act, Refusal to support the building of a  fence on the border, or enforce Immigration Laws. Suspended his campaign to go back to DC when the financial meltdown happened in 2008 with the pretense that he was going to help solve it, but mostly just sat there like a bump on a log and offered no solutions , he just voted to go along with every other nincompoop in Congress and spend alot of money that did little if any good. He is also a liar insofar as he campaigned as a Conservative, but quickly turned back to his old ways as soon as Arizona ,incomprehensibly re-elected him. I concede that your points are valid, but just not good enough to continue giving him the benefit of the doubt for the rest of his political life which hopefully is getting shorter…………………………………..

      • friskyness

McCain allows rino’s to bash Palin……….he says nothing……….where was he when Tucson was a nightmare? Where was he defending Palin when Bill Mahr insults Sarah and Bristol? McCain has come out supporting Gov Palin but he never criticizes Schmidt and the Wallaces he never takes them on for going after Gov Palin  so when McCain does defend Gov Paln it is weak.

He needs to spell out directly how Schmidt and the Wallaces are trying to save their own reputations - he never talks about the memo that stated that Schmidt friends were leaking false hoods against Gov Palin to protect his shoddy reputation.

    Obama’s past history…….to an extent……WAS vetted in 2008!!

    We KNEW about Rev Wright!!
We KNEW about Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn!!
We KNEW he refused to provide his REAL birth certificate!!
We KNEW he refused to provide his college records!!
We KNEW it was extremely difficult to find ONE PERSON who "knew" him in college!!
We KNEW he voted "present" MOST of the time in BOTH the State Senate in Illinois and the U.S. Senate………that is, WHEN he was there AT ALL!!!!!

    Yet, "we" elected him anyway!!!

    But go back in time!!

We ALSO KNEW about Bill Clinton’s……

    womanizing…….
    draft dodging…..
marijuana smoking (His "I didn’t inhale!" was laughable, at best!!!!)!!!!

    Yet we elected him anyway!!

We also KNEW that George W Bush……..up until age 40…….

    was a boozer
    was a druggie
    partied like it’s nobody’s business
    was a "loser"…….
had a questionable record in the National Guard……..

    yet we elected him!!!!

You know what we and this country need??

    We need a Presidential candidate…….

    and a PRESIDENT…….

    who needs NO vetting!!!

    Whose record is CLEAN!!

    Whose record is KNOWN!!

Whose doors were OPEN when they held titles!!!

Whose family history…….good AND not so good……

    is KNOWN to ALL!!!

    Whose middle name is INTEGRITY!!!!!

Now, let’s see, who MIGHT I be talking about???

    • StandProudNow

Well, some of us knew.    Have you asked some liberals if they knew this stuff?  Do you know that a lot of people never even heard of Rev. Wright?  Or Ayers?  And they have no IDEA of his voting record, and still don’t know.

How many know that we haven’t had a budget for over 3 years???

      • Betsey_Ross

I think Hannity talked about that last night.  He even had interviews of these people looking and sounding very surprised and not happy about any of it.  We all knew it because we were and are paying attention.  Point the fingers of blame at the news media.  They are nothing short of gossip rags.  They have been for ages.  People have got to have the obvious pointed out to them.  Obama is a Marxist.

    • friskyness

       Exactly………but she isn’t running……………what do we do?

  • Escaped_Teleprompter

Like McCain, Romney is afraid to vet Obama because he has been warned by the Obama machine that Obama has more campaign funds, plus he has the LSM in his back pocket.  But Romney had no qualms about attacking his primary opponents viciously with massive negative ads when he has more funds.  That is the myopic rules of engagement among the political establishment, of which Romney and McCain are parts of.
Palin, in contrast, openly defies political campaign orthodoxy, and finds ways to win while being outspent by wide margins.  She is one rare politician who successfully confronts big media, big money and big establishment at the same time, and her success in doing so makes her incorruptible.
    .

    • StandProudNow

Romney is a spineless wimp. He knows if he asks the hard questions the LSM will go after him. (as if they won’t anyway!)  so he cowardly sits back and just hopes for the best. Just what we need to lead this country when we are faced with financial disasters!   Wimp!!

      What an idiot!!!!!!!!!!!

  • watchdogmom

Damn right we have every right to know! Once you throw your hat in the ring for President of the United States of America-"your life is not your own". I’m mad as hell over this. Matter of fact John McCain has proven to the American people with this issue-NDAA and several other sneaky B.S. issues he is guilty of treason. Along with everyone else that helped this illegal fraud into the whitehouse. This is a huge area I will hand it to Sarah Palin she  has not came out against the millions of Americans who want this imposter removed immediately due to ineligibility under our Constitution. aka obama and his fake Presidency is NULL and VOID. Another guttersnipe comment! – just can’t help yourself eh?

  • http://lenbilen.com/ Lennart Bilén

The Constitution; a most fascinating document. Is it still relevant?
Maybe not, but who am I to judge. I am not a natural born citizen, not even a native born citizen or a native citizen, just a naturalized citizen.
My naturalization service was held in Valley Forge, and we were 140 people from more than 75 countries, one or two from each country. The only exception was 4 adopted Chinese girls, given up for adoption so their parents can apply for permission to get another child and not be subject to forced abortion (it is not a requirement, it is only necessary if you want to keep your Chinese government job). It was quite stirring: A Canadian teacher, selected among the inductees spoke well about the freedom and liberty enjoyed by all U.S. Citizens.
Ah well, those were the days.It was with great interest that I watched President Obama’s inauguration this January. It was quite stirring to watch the sea of people wishing him well. When it came to the swearing in ceremony Supreme Court Chief Justice Roberts managed to reverse the order of a few words in the oath. The oath was taken on a Bible, once used by Abraham Lincoln, who, even though Lincoln was a Republican and Obama is a Democrat, had risen to great prominence from humble beginnings in Illinois. There was great symbolism there. The fact that the word order of the oath had been reversed bothered some, so the next day the oath was repeated in the oval office, this time without a Bible.
The election had been unusual in many ways. One of them was that there was a question of John McCain’s eligibility to be president. He was born at Coco Solo Naval Air Station in the Panama Canal Zone, Panama, to naval officer John S. McCain, Jr. (1911–1981) and Roberta (Wright) McCain (b. 1912). At that time, the Panama Canal was under U.S. control. However, the small hospital where he was born was located in the civilian part of the Canal Zone, not under US control until 1941. John McCain is therefore not a native born citizen but a native Citizen. Is he a natural born Citizen?
This question was important enough for Congress to take up and decide before the election. Being born outside of U.S. this would automatically eliminate him from natural born status. But there is an out. Every child born on U.S soil is a native born citizen with the exception of children born to parents in diplomatic service. They retain the citizenship of their parents. Since John McCain Jr. was under the command of the Commander in Chief (FDR) he therefore qualifies as diplomatic emissary, and though his wife gave birth outside US soil, the exception does apply.
Being legally married is important, because“they twain shall be one flesh".
(Matt 19: 4-6 (KJV) And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female. And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.0
This is important because this is how marriage is legally defined. There is no better to illustrate the importance of this legal definition than in the case of Terri Schiavo. Her husband was the executor of her life, never mind that he for many years had lived with another woman and had fathered two children with her. The legal document of marriage defined them as one flesh, and therefore the will of her father and siblings was of no legal consequence.
It is ironiC that in this case the pro-life movement took the more liberal view of marriage that prolonged, unrepented and unreconciled adultery is a disqualifier, and the other side held fast to the definition of marriage being one flesh so they must be treated as one unit.
After reading up on the amendments to the constitution and finding that the 27th amendment took 202 years to ratify, the next area of constitutional interest was the election of 2000.
Gore won the national popular vote, and it came down to Florida, where there seemed to be a tie. The State Government, being Republican tried to certify Bush as the winner, and Gore sued, After the Florida Supreme court had overturned the lower courts decisions which had been in favor of Bush, the U S Supreme court stepped in and declared Bush the winner by a 5 to 4 vote. The interesting point in this case is that Bush argued that Federal law took precedent, since the election is national, while Gore argued States’ rights. After all, we have the electoral system and that favors States’ rights. When it comes to matters of the Constitution it is not always the way you think it should be at first glance. Gore has come a long way from States’ Rights to Global Governance, but that is another story.
The US Senate decided in 2008 in their unanimous resolution proclaiming John McCain a “natural born citizen” of the Unites States of America, based upon the well-known fact that BOTH of his parents were indeed legal citizens of the United States at the time of John’s birth. In other words, by “divine power” and the “laws of growth,” “produced by nature” of the fact that his parents were US citizens, so was John McCain, by birth right via natural ancestry.
This ruling is remarkable, since this would automatically disqualify Obama, since his father was a British subject, Bobby_Jindal, Marco Rubio and maybe even Rick Santorum since their parents were not citizens but here as legal immigrants or on student visas visa at the time of their birth.
There was a noticeable lack of interest by the Senate to do for Obama what they had done for McCain. Yet one could argue that the Obama story is even more intriguing than McCain’s.
Let us see what we know about Obama. The Obama team has released a Certification of birth registration on the web, not in hard copy form, that states the date of birth, the names of the parents, the address of permanent residence and the state of Hawaii.Originally the birth hospital was Queen’s Hospital in Honolulu, but that got changed to Kapi’olani Medical Center for Women and Children. They have yet to officially confirm that Obama was born there.
So we have four possibilities for his birthplace
    1. Queen’s Hospital, Honolulu, HI. Not Confirmed.
    2. Kapi’olani Medical Center, Honolulu, HI Not Confirmed
    3. Born in Hawaii, but not in a hospital.
    4. Born elsewhere, but registered in Hawaii by his grandmother by virtue of his mother being a US citizen.
The long form Birth Certificate would clear up which of the four alternatives it is. It is a simple procedure to obtain a copy of the Long form Birth Certificate, but the Obama team has hitherto spent upwards of two millions prevent its release.
Then out of the blue, after Donald Trump started hounding him about the real birth certificate they produced a layered image with composites from at least three separate documents overlaid with a separate State Seal image and signature (The signature has a happy face in it just to vex you). This document would not have standing in any court since is an obvious generated document from multiple sources.
There is one more thing. We do not know if Obama’s parents were ever legally married. No marriage certificate has been produced. So we do not know if Obama’s father has legal standing. If he had, Obama would be disqualified on the ground that Obama’s father was a British subject at the time of his birth. Kenya was in the process of becoming a part of the Commonwealth rather than a Colony, so his status is unclear. In any way he was not a US Citizen, and Obama would not qualify as a Natural Born Citizen no matter where he was born. If they were never legally married it makes it easier; all we have to prove is that he was born in Hawaii.
There is just one thing. Obama’s mother was not of age to claim him alone as a US Citizen at that time, so we still do not know how it would have turned out if Congress had acted to certify Obama eligible for the presidency.
All of this is moot however. No real journalist showed any interest in the case. There were WND, CNN’s Lou Dobbs and an occasional Fox news reporter that mentioned the case, but they are not “real news organizations” (Rahm Emanuel, David Axelrod 10/17/2009).
Then a retired entrepreneur from Canada, J.B. Williams discovered something remarkable: Obama was never certified eligible to be president! He published this inCanada Free Press.
At the Democratic National Convention Obama was elected their presidential candidate and a letter was sent to all 50 states and the District of Columbia stating that it was so. The letters were signed by Nancy Pelosi and the DNC Secretary, properly notarized, 51 originals in all. They were of two kinds. One went to the State of Hawaii and it contained the language
:“THIS IS TO CERTIFY that at the National Convention of the Democratic Party of the United States of America, held in Denver, Colorado on August 25 though 28, 2008, the following were duly nominated as candidates of said Party for President and Vice President of the United States respectively and that the following candidates for President and Vice President of the United States are legally qualified to serve under the provisions of the United States Constitution.”The other 50 originals contained the wording:
“THIS IS TO CERTIFY that at the National Convention of the Democratic Party of the United States of America, held in Denver, Colorado on August 25 though 28, 2008, the following were duly nominated as candidates of said Party for President and Vice President of the United States respectively:Did you catch the typo, the same typo on all 51 originals?
So for the 49 States and the District of Columbia the certification step was never made. The Electoral College duties are: First to certify themselves eligible to cast the ballots for their candidate, then to certify the candidates eligible to serve. After these two steps it is time to vote for President, mostly by winner takes all for their State, except Nebraska and Maine, where the vote is by congressional district and the two senatorial votes by State.
The certification step was never made, not at the Convention and not by the Electoral College.
So they made the effort to make sure the oath was perfect by repeating the taking of it so every letter of the Constitution could be fulfilled, but the certification step that would have made the oath binding in the first place was never made.
The conclusion: We have a president elect that has never taken a valid oath, because he was never certified eligible to take the oath.
Why are so few people interested in this? Is it because the constitution is no longer relevant?
Or is it because it is becoming a moot point anyway after the President signed the Copenhagen treaty in December 2009, and after the Senate ratifies it the Constitution will be no more? And why was this missing certification step discovered by a Canadian (J.B. Williams), and the warning that ratifying the Copenhagen Treaty would sign away our sovereignty and Constitution to an unelected international body was discovered by a British subject, Lord Monckton ?
Is the press so in love with internationalism that it is forbidden to search into these matters? If so, this explains the treatment of Sarah Palin. She is a dangerous woman to internationalists, because she really loves the USA, its Constitution and the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. This woman had to be stopped using all means of smear known to man. It all stars to make sense.

Romney is making a serious mistake in making Obama’s association with Jeremiah Wright off limits.  Presumably Romney considers Obama’s other associations with radical Marxists and Islamists off limits too.  By not vetting Obama, not only does he lose out but the American electorate loses out too, for voters deserve to know about their President.  There is so much about Obama that the public needs to know — Ayers, Dorn and the Weather Underground, Khalid Al Mansour, the Black Panthers and the Saudi connection, ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, Wright, Frank Marshal Davis, CPUSA, Tony Rezko, Michelle’s hospital appointment — just to name a few.

Especially insidious is Romney’s public renouncement of Joe Ricketts and his SuperPAC for having the courage to revive the Jeremiah Wright skeleton.  Romney could have remained silent; instead by his public repudiation Romney has helped discredit Ricketts’ efforts and made him the target of concerted liberal attacks.  if Jeremiah Wright is off limits, presumably all other Obama radical associations and scandals are off limits too. Romney’s cowardice and the liberal media’s reaction to Joe Ricketts’ efforts, are powerful disincentives for anyone else who might be inclined to try to shed light on Obama’s sordid background.

Maybe Romney knows that the Mormon religion could look as bad as Rev. Wright, so he thinks it is better not to talk about religion.

      • Exgunman

I say talk about BOTH religions, get it out, and then get on to actual problems that need to be dealt with. Unfortunately neither of them have any idea how to solve them…..Romney does not know how……Obama does not know how either, but on top of that he does not want to have anything to do with solving the problems he has significantly contributed to …………………..

It comes as no surprise that dipSchmidt was opposed to vetting 0bama, and I’m sure Wallace was supportive of that, but we must also add McCain to that mix.  Essentially, 0bama was allowed to skate right through the primaries, and the general election without the vetting the same level of vetting that anyone being considered for a government job gets.  The reason was because he’s black, and any attempt to vet him was automatically called "racist."  You can bet that the 0bama campaign will play that card often in the months to come, and Romney will be so intimidated by it, his campaign will be a carbon copy of McCain’s.

It does appear that the Romney campaign is very willing to savagely attack Conservatives in the primary, but not so willing to even confront fellow Leftists in the general race.  We may be in trouble, if he does not "man-up" and walk his previous Conservative talk.
