In a “big slot” no less..
Jim Demint went On the Record with Greta Van Susteren, this evening, to discuss the election, the Republican National Convention, the Tea Party, and Governor Palin. Greta asked Senator Demint if he thought the Tea Party should have a bigger role at the convention. He replied by saying that he would love to see Governor Palin give a big speech.
Demint: There is no one still in America that, I think, excites the base of Conservatives, even Libertarians [more] than she does. She can draw a crowd more than any other Republican, and I think, has more influence in primaries than any other endorsement right now.
