The Governor speaks sometime in Belleville, Michigan today at an AFP/Willow Tea Party event. If you stumble across a live feed or are going to be present at the event, let us know in the comments when the Governor is expected to speak.

In the meantime, here were the Governor’s last two outdoor speeches to watch before her speech today.

The Governor’s PAC had a really strong rebound in the second quarter of 2012, just as it did in the second quarter of 2010. Here are the actual numbers if you want to go through her FEC report. Her strong fundraising numbers were not the result of her wealthier donors giving more; cuatrocinco45 notes that the amount of the contributions she received that were $200 or under in the first half of 2012 exceeded the amount of the contributions she received that were $200 or under from the first half of 2010.

Sarah Steelman clarifies an issue on Governor Palin:

“Recently, I have been made aware of a Talking Points Memo story that did not accurately reflect my views on Governor Sarah Palin. Let me be clear that I am proud of any comparison to Governor Palin, who has been a champion of conservative values and hard-working Americans all across this great nation.”

Steelman continued, “Like Governor Palin, I have spent my entire political life fighting the Good Ole’ Boys Club, despite the political consequences and personal attacks. I am going to Washington to put government back in the hands of the people, because the status quo has got to go.”

UPDATE (by Mary Beth):   It’s funny that Sarah Steelman used the phrase “the status quo has got to go” because that ties in nicely with the latest video by the very gifted Nate Smoove:

The Bro Gotta Go” (feat. Real Americans):

It’s got a great beat and a fantastic sound…and the lyrics are poignant and meaningful.  How awesome is it that we have such amazing talent in the conservative movement!
