The Governor did indeed stop by Chick-fil-A after her speech and she linked to the following speech.
Even the Associated Press conceded that over a thousand attended on short notice on a sweltering day in Texas. The Austin Statesman conceded the number was higher than 1,500. You can read more on the event here, here, and here.
Bristol will be on Dancing with the Stars again as part of its All-star season.
