Here’s more on the Governor’s visit to Iowa. Commentator Wisetrog notes the media bias when it comes to visits with Bruce Rastetter.
PPP(D) finds Sarah Steelman trailing heading into Tuesday. However, pollsters have had a tough time with polling Missouri Senate GOP primaries. The similarity between Santorum and Steelman may just be that their strongest support comes from the rural areas of the state and it would seem that Akin and Brunner would split the vote coming from St. Louis. The Governor’s name isn’t on the list of the first seven headline speakers. Assuming that the Governor eventually does receive a speaking invitation, would she accept a speaking role that is less significant than Rudy Giuliani’s role at the 2008 RNC convention? There is an issue of respect involved when it comes to speaking roles and the Governor’s role in the party isn’t any less significant than anyone in the party sans the Presidential and VP nominees.
