Do any of our Missouri readers know the rules and deadlines for an independent/third-party run from a candidate who lost in the GOP primary? I don’t think it would be similar to Maes/Tancredo/Hicklenlooper in Colorado just because Missouri has more conservatives and right-leaning voters than Colorado and McCaskill isn’t anywhere near as popular as Hickenlooper.

This poll from NBC/WSJ suggests that there hasn’t been a recent VP nominee who made voters more likely to vote for his or her ticket than Governor Palin.
Reince Preibus claims the Governor was offered a primetime spot at the Convention.
The Governor endorsed Ted Yoho.
