Her response to John Kerry is drawing a lot of attention. What the Governor was doing was mocking the liberal narrative that she’s unimportant with her purposefully dry style of sarcasm. The best example of her purposefully dry style of sarcasm was her e-mail about divorce. The Governor is comfortable enough in her own skin to be very self-deprecating. The Governor’s attitude and approach certainly stands out in an era of politics where politicians take themselves so seriously that they regard their own words as fundamental to the survival of the nation.
