@AGUGrizzlies: AGU-PA’s @KevinScholla Discusses AGU 2012 Victories

NOTE: This post was originally published on US4Palin. The interview was conducted by AGU-PA State Coordinator Kevin Scholla and the transcript was prepared by AGU-NY State Coordinator Ron Devito.

Kelly Hancock, fresh off of winning a State Senate seat in Texas, is the guest on The Palin Radio Update with Kevin Scholla. Hancock talks to Kevin about the great success enjoyed in The Lone Star State, something many other states are yearning for especially after the reelection of Barack Obama. Despite the Obama win, candidates endorsed by Sarah Palin fared quite well this past Tuesday. Ted Cruz, Deb Fischer, Jeff Flake, Orrin Hatch, Ted Yoho, and Paul Gosar will all head to Washington. American Grizzlies United also made its presence known. Hancock, and 42 other AGU candidates won on Election Day. Also, Governor Palin calls on all of us to not lose heart and to continue to fight for our exceptional country. Plus, SarahNET Radio’s Steel Resolve, our weekly commentary from Sarah Steelman. Steelman rails against the GOP for shunning Palin and blasts the NRSC for acting like Stepford Wives.

RINOs Lose, Reagan-Palin Conservatives Win

The 2012 election was a loss for the Republican establishment, the RINOs and the moderates. Reagan-Palin conservatives did very well. Gov. Palin endorsed 14 candidates in 2012 for the US Senate and House. Of the 14, eight were elected resulting in an overall success rate of 57.14%. Six of the eight successful candidates were endorsed during their primary seasons, resulting in a success rate of 75% for that subset. American Grizzlies United supported 63 down-ticket candidates and 43 of them won their elections. AGU’s success rate, therefore is 66.67% or 67% rounded up.

In his interview with Kevin Scholla, Hancock said we need to move forward and not over-focus on the losses. Though we did not take the Senate, that body has become more conservative with Palin endorsees Cruz, Flake, Hatch, and Fischer taking or retaining seats. In the House Gosar and Yoho, were two of Gov. Palin’s successes. With Gov. Palin’s support, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker and Lieutenant Governor Rebecca Kleefisch defeated the Democrats’ attempt to recall them earlier this year. These results suggest that success lies in sticking with Reagan-Palin conservative principles.

NRSC’s Stepford Wives

Sarah Steelman in her segment, "Steel Resolve," lambasted the National Republican Senatorial Committee for promoting "Stepford Wives" RINOs, almost all of whom lost.
