@AGUGrizzlies: VOTE; AGU Survey Of Non-Romney Voters

NOTE: This post and survey were created by AGU New York State Coordinator Ron Devito and originally published on US4Palin.
When addressing Young Americans for Freedom in 1975, former President Ronald Wilson Reagan said,

"Some have suggested that the 1974 election – the disastrous results – were an indictment of what we stand for. Well, may I suggest that the meaning of the last election will not be found among those who voted. It will be found in my polling those who stayed home – the biggest non-voter bloc in our nation’s history. And why did they stay home?"

It is well-known that Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan got 2.3 million less votes than John McCain and Sarah Palin did in 2008. Pundits have speculated about the reasons why, but there is no hard data to support their assertions.
This survey is an attempt to arrive at the truth of why these 2.3 million people either stayed home or abstained, chose existing third party candidates, or wrote in candidates. If you are among these voters, please take a few minutes to respond. You will not be asked to divulge any personal or contact information.
Our work continues…

I’d like to express my appreciation to all those who didn’t vote for Romney in 2012.   The world doesn’t need America anyway.

With Romney the world wouldn’t have had America either, he was a pro-choice, anti-gun Romneycare flip flopper.

I would love to take this survey, due to being VERY CLOSE to not voting for Romney (I have expressed my reasons many times), but I did the ABO that was requested of me by my fellow Conservatives.  My guess is that it was simply too much to ask for other Conservatives to do as I did.  I respect them for holding to their values, however we all now live with the results.  I do not find fault, as I may very well join you in the future, I’m simply stating the obvious.

Here this very day on a Sarah Palin website i will quote her position and mine. The people had  a clear choice.
IMO..Those that didn’t vote are either apathetic, not willing to fight to live another day,or acting like little children who pout because they didn’t get that shiny new toy they wanted on Christmas.
And so, in the end sadly ,we all got a lump of coal instead. Don’t mean to bug ya..
