Governor Palin: A Vote for Obama is a Vote to Continue Failed Energy Policies

Governor Palin posted the following on Facebook today:

A vote for Obama is a vote to continue the failed policies of the past that have made us more reliant on foreign oil and the foreign regimes that supply it. Our energy policies affect so many areas of our lives, including where we send our sons and daughters to war. Our dependency on foreign regimes to supply our oil has enriched them and helped them subsidize terrorist activities. They have used our dependence on their oil as a weapon against us. There is no need for this when we have the resources here. No American should ever worry (rightly or wrongly) that our troops are in a war zone to protect oil interests. A more energy independent America will be a more prosperous and peaceful America.

Very good. The time is near please share the heck out of it!

    • Quiet_Righty

I would, but my liberal relatives do not respond to reason. I’ve given up.

      • jester2939

I here ya; it only leads to arguments. When my Aunt and Uncle in Miami said I SHOULD be forced to buy by own healthcare and be penalized by the government if I didn’t, it proved they were a lost cause. How sad. He works in the healthcare industry and owns his own company – you’d think he’d get it.

        • Quiet_Righty

Raise your hand if you’ve had an argument over politics at Facebook and ended up deleting a relative.

I have. It was my first cousin, and I deleted AND blocked her this year. Probably for good. I couldn’t take her hate speech against Republicans and conservatives. I visited her home in the Bar Area last Christmas but that’ll be the last time.

          • socon

I’m sorry to hear that.  Family is important, but so is respect.  It’s her loss.

        • socon

Oh, he’ll get it alright; if Obama wins this election.

It’s one thing if they want to give up their own freedom–but I really resent them forcing me to give up mine!

  • JRNASH

It’s no coincidence or mere happenstance that the one person who understands this situation better than anyone else is none other than Sarah Palin.

    spread the news.

    Right On Sarah….Drill Baby Drill…….

    O M G.

I wish I could have given the stupid ass a swift kick when he bowed to the Saudi King.

        ha…I know what you mean…..what a pos….

  • John_Frank

Stacy, thanks for drawing this excellent wall post by the Governor to people’s attention.

    Let’s spread the word people.

Gov Palin is 100% correct  – she is a treasure!!!

Also where are the honorable people in the military hierarchy?

How come noone has resigned over the travesty in Lybia – our Military commanders tell us about their honor – but it is shameful how they have remained silent when people were left to die –

Is a pension and promotion more important than Honor?

Where is General CIA Patreaus – where is the leadership?

They owe it to everyone that has and is wearing the uniform of the US Military – speak out now or you will lose all honor…

    • Freempg

David Hackworth was right, they are "perfumed princes". Including Patreus. He testified in front of Congress three days after 9/11/2012 (wonderful, now we have to add the year to 9/11), that it was all about the video.  What a mess we are in. Who can we trust?

  • RedDaveR

Excellent video.  I can see why Gov. Palin wanted us to see it.

  • conservativemama

" No American should ever worry (rightly or wrongly) that our troops are in a war zone to protect oil interests."

If the anti-war-for-oil movement was honest they would stand with the Governor on this issue.  Their silence speaks volumes.

    • socon

There’s nothing honest about the left:  Ideology and the pursuit of power are all that matter to the soulless cretins.

They couldn’t care less about women, minorities or the poor–they’re merely weapons the left uses to beat up on the right

      I detest them.

      • conservativemama

I completely agree with you.  It’s all about power.  And isn’t that sick?  They have this insane need to control their fellow man.  They cannot let people be.

        • socon

          Real sick and real evil.

Can’t we cut this country in half?  I’m tired of fighting with these morons.

          • conservativemama

But then our new country would be successful, they would start moving to our country and bring their bad ideas to our successful country.  It’s like when people escape high tax states for lower tax states but never learn their lesson.  In their new successful state they try to implement the bad ideas that ruined their original state.

            • socon

Solution:  12′ electrified walls with armed guards.    Sign me up.

    • Freempg

c-mama: the governor is a lightening rod. she has been angling to be the doe secretary, in my opinion. it would be a harbinger of a successful administation should romney offer the governor the position, and hopefully with the mission to dismantle it.  Should she wish to decline she could do so gracefully with a barn-burner speech/disseration about energy indepedence and the size of the government.

      • conservativemama

Would love to see her in this role in a Romney cabinet.

        • socon

She’d be awesome.  Unfortunately, she’d outshine everyone else, and they know it.

      • jester2939

However, when asked about her possible appointment to DOE, Governor Palin doesn’t think it’s likely to happen. Either she’s bluffing or she knows there’s no way Romney would put her anyway near D.C.  We’ll see what happens.

The time for choosing is now. It is your vote and your right, but i hope you will Give Romney a chance.

Obama is a self centered demigog .Your president is a convicted liar. And, like Chis Christe is nothing but a self serving showboat..I knew that the first time i saw either of these men.You can’t sit in Reverend wight’s church for 20 years and tell me you don’t believe in "God damn America"..Horse manure.

Please think about your decision while you have time. This fight for the soul of America has only just begun. We are not potted plants, We can turn away from the misery this man has brought.

Obama  took a bad situation and doubled down on it. And he will not quit. He has no plan to quit.

VOTE. The time is at hand .

  • Jon Kelly

America SHE’S RIGHT listen to her!!!

  • jester2939

That ad encompasses everything Governor Palin has been saying for years!!! If I didn’t know better, I’d think she put the video together. Well done.
