Governor Palin: Don’t Lose Heart

Via Facebook:

America, don’t lose heart. This election is not an “Obama mandate,” nor is it a rejection of conservatism. Unanswered ads like this one running in blue collar swing states defined Romney early on, and the Obama media also piled on with the narrative that Romney would harm the middle class. (As I personally have witnessed, once a bell is rung by a biased media, it’s impossible to un-ring it.) Ironically, it’s Obama’s socialist policies that will destroy America’s working class as he outsources opportunities.

Hang in there, America. Fight for what is right. Don’t look to government or any politician to solve your problems. Government can’t make you happy, healthy, wealthy or wise. Obama is a master at reading the right “soaring” words fed into his teleprompter, but actions speak louder than words. So, hold tight to 2 Corinthians 4:8 because we’re in for a wild ride.

We must survive. United. One nation under God.

"We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted but not forsaken, struck down, but not destroyed." – 2 Corinthians 4:8-9.

- Sarah Palin

    I love you, Guv’.

You’re needed to lead. And you know it.

G-d keep His Hand on you, always.

    • BrianusBerkleianus

      Amen, IC!!!!

  • GrmaTX

The Governor’s wisdom is much appreciated.  I, also, appreciate her approach to politics and governing.  IMO she is unique as a servant-leader in our nation.  Who else speaks as she speaks? Who else has the courage she has? Who else has within them honesty and integrity she has?  If we as a nation ever get to the place again where we can have the honor of having such a person as President, it will be for the benefit of all Americans.  Returning to faith and obedience to our Creator is key.  Will America repent and return to the One who gives freedom or will America continue go the way it is going now?

  • blueniner

I think the Chimes of Freedom have rung, Sarah, now it is your time!

  • TENCOLE

Waiting for your first move Sarah.

BTW……Unfortunately, politics have made MANY people very wealthy. just saying.

  • Agent99SP

"Don’t look to government or any politician to solve your problems."

    Yes, Sarah…this is so right.

I highly recommend that, if you have the time and inclination, you watch the entire "Stay Free" series from the beginning as well as its companion, "Know Your Enemy."

Thank you, Sarah.  I’m so down this morning, but to hear this from you helps a bit.  God bless you.

  • John_Frank

    Excellent statement by the Governor.

Thank you Sarah Palin. You are a great American.

  • Swedy5

Amen, Sarah!  It was an encouraging note.

  • wodiej

What a wonderful, warm message from Gov. Palin.  Unfortunately this website has slowly lost her reflection.  First thing this morning, people began name calling and being sarcastic to others who chose to vote for country and follow Gov. Palin’s plans. What a shame.

    • TENCOLE

Well I gotta say, now you know how many of us felt when you were berating us, when we were just trying point out what kind of candidate Mitt really was.

      • IsraeliCojones

Whatever candidate he was, he was better than Obama, and the gates of Hell he’s ready to open for America.

        Enjoy the wild ride.

        • alien4palin

          I agree!!!
When backed to the wall without a choice, survival instinct dictates picking the one that does the least harm

          • IsraeliCojones

We know something about it in Israel. :)

That’s why I never could understand all the DRAMA ("I like it, I don’t like it, he’s this, he’s that, boo-frikken-hoo, and let’s hear what my mirror is saying").

WTF was that? I’m still wondering.

Now the Tyrant is here for 1460 freaking days. Somebody wake me up from this nightmare.

            • alien4palin

              IC, Keep faith & hope!!!
It is what it is, all we can do is continue to work and focus on the goal for America. I know Sarah is doing precisely that.

Quoting BB: "I AM FILLED, NOT WITH SORROW, NOT WITH DESPAIR, NOT WITH GRIEF, BUT WITH UNDYING HOPE."
              Thanks, BB

              • IsraeliCojones

                 Thanks, alien4palin :)

                • alien4palin

                  IC, you are most welcome!!!

          • socon

How did that work out for us?

        • socon

We voted for Mitt.  What else were we supposed to do?

          • IsraeliCojones

She didn’t. That was my whole point. YOU did it. SHE didn’t.

            • socon

So, Mitt’s loss is all her fault?  Mitt isn’t remotely responsible for his own defeat?

Our leaders have to share some responsibility for the consequences of their actions.  They are asking for our vote after all.

              • IsraeliCojones

                Not at all.

I just find pretty indecent those post-justifications and attacks from people who didn’t even vote towards the guys like you and wodiej who did what they had to.

If I were them, after what happened yesterday, i would hide under a rug and STFU for two months. At the very least.

                • socon

There’s the rub, IC, I think these folks feel vindicated.

Maybe if they saw the arrogant GOP do a little of their own soul searching they would also be so inclined.

                  • IsraeliCojones

I wonder why they feel vindicated. They didn’t do sh*t except whining for months.

IMO, the only guys who can open their pie-hole right now are those who have AT LEAST done what’s necessary to defeat the Marxist.

It didn’t work? OK, let’s analyze this.

But seeing those crybabies who sat on their hands counting on others to save the day and their saint "principles" getting in the face of those who put their skin on the table, that’s a little bit too much for me.

Maybe my parents taught me a sense of decency that doesn’t exist anymore, I don’t know.

Anyway, since I’m off this site, the question is pointless.

                    Take care, dear socon.

                • socon

Decency goes both ways.  Take care of yourself, IC.

      • ZH100

You mean that the people who didn’t followed Gov.Palin’s lead were betraying Gov.Palin.

        • socon

Maybe she didn’t want to betray her own principles.

          • IsraeliCojones

In which "saving the country" is not included.

            • socon

I’m honestly not sure if that’s even possible anymore.  Our culture is a putrid mess.

              • IsraeliCojones

I hear ya. But one must try while it’s possible. it was on November 6th. It’s not anymore.

                • socon

There’s a power struggle going on between the the GOP and the base.  As long as the leadership treats us with contempt some people will stay home and we will lose elections.

You notice Obama didn’t diss his base.  He’s not that stupid.  They don’t call the GOP the stupid party for nothin’.

I think it’s as simple and disheartening as that.  And I don’t know what the solution is.

                  • IsraeliCojones

Look socon, I understand all this. This power struggle has begun one week BEFORE the 2010 victory, by the "Stop Palin" campaign and it has gotten worse and worse until 2012.

I know all this, I’m not debating it.

My point here is very limited: for me the guys who sat on their hands don’t have any right to lecture those who fought – and lost. They don’t even have the right to complain about anything during the next 4 years. They sat on the sideline. They ignored their personal responsibility when it mattered. So how do they deserve to be listened to now?

                • socon

I’m already looking forward.  I don’t know how to fix the Republican party.  I don’t even know if it’s possible.

    • socon

People got tired of you telling them to sit down and shut up.  What else did you expect?

      • IsraeliCojones

She never said that and you know it. wodiej is one of the most decent posters of the site. I’m still baffled at the abuse she has taken for months.

        • socon

You obviously haven’t read all of her posts.  She could be very insulting.

Maybe you don’t understand because you agree with her point of view.

          • IsraeliCojones

Well of course I cannot pretend I’ve read all her posts so some things could have escaped me.

But it’s not a matter of point of view.

For me, from the get-go, it was about acknowledging reality or not.

Let’s say you play poker. When you sit at a poker table, you sign a silent agreement: you have to play with the cards you are dealt with. If you disagree with that basic premise, you can’t play.

So I’m sitting here and I’m dreaming of a flush royal (Sarah), which I don’t get. I get a freaking pair of jacks instead. And I’m furious.

            What do I do then?

No, I’m not getting up and go sulking in a corner because I didn’t get the flush royal. I’m not 5 years old.

All my money is on the table and I have to win with what I have. I have to play with the cards that have been dealt to me. I’m not happy with them but who gives a f*ck? I have to win, period. I mount the best bluff evah but it doesn’t work. I lose. I lose everything.

But I’ve tried, I didn’t run away, you see?

All the guys who have swallowed their anger and voted for Orange Juice Can to defeat the Marxist are heroes to me. So they can yell as much as they want.

But the others? Let’s not add a word on them.

            • socon

I think you’re awesome.  I hope all good things come to you.

              • IsraeliCojones

You’re awesome too, kiddo. G-d bless and protect you :)

  • myfairlady

Thank you Governor Palin for your words of wisdom.  Your leadership and servant’s heart always shine through all the clutter.  May God continue to shed His grace on this country.

  • Swedy5

Thanks, Sarah!  I agree with the Biblical reference, and also to the holding on for a "wild ride" yet to come.

  • Gio54

Yesterday was the first time I voted in any election. Sarah inspired me to be more active and get involed and in touch on what was and still is going on in this country. To do my homework (as she likes to put it). I voted for Mitt Romney not because i wanted too or even liked him, but because of ABO. Well that did’nt turn out so well. I dont blame Mitt Romney he did what he could, but i do blame this on the so called handlers that tried to make him something his not. Mitt was never a conservative they knew that, we knew that. Sarah mentioned on her CPAC speech we needed a candidate that would instinctively turn to the right, he was not going to do that. Issue after issue was not explained to the American people the way a conservative woul’ve of explained ( Sarah ). Example: Economics 101, Solar Industry, Fast and Furious, Benghazi etc… you get the picture. Its hard to believe that a President with this economy would win, but he did. The media did there part but did we do ours?. I dont think we did. We excepted the status quo from the republican party. We setled. In my humble opinion this cant happen again. We conservatives have to fight for what we beleive in without any compromises when it comes to the party. We have to stand up. We need to nominate someone (Sarah ) who could and would turn to the right for answers. Conservatism when explained to the American wins every time. The GOP crowed the field in the primary to keep Sarah out. They succeed. But in 2016 we cannot let this happen again. We must stand together if we want to take our country back. I dont care who is tryng to get the nomination, i for one will stick with Sarah if she chooses to run. 2016 cant come soon enough.

    • jgrimes

I will too Gio54. Glad someone else feels the same way…

  • c4pfan

I just wish that the GOP knew what you could bring with helping in the race, Sarah!  When you have millions of viewers and don’t mention the Tea Party once or you or the military, something is very wrong.

I agree that it isn’t a mandate.  It’s a warning though that we on the Conservative side better get tougher and wiser as to where we fight our battles!

Thank you, Gov. Palin, for your encouragement.
2 Cor. 4:8-9 is very apropos for today.

We will hang in there and keep fighting.  You have helped us retain that ‘fighting spirit.’

Encouraging words from Sarah. I hope Sarah 2016 is a reality if God wills it for her life. However I will be amiss reading numerous sites this morning to note the frustration that some have towards Sarah (I don’t know if these are trolls or not) that she should have run and then the frustration that while the country was going to hell, Sarah wanted to encourage DWTS and other stuff. We have to start defending this stuff

  • Gio54

Sorry guys have not been here for a while.  my post went in to many times….Sorry

  • Banda31

I really love and admire Governor Palin for even though I know in her heart she feels as we do, she is still  trying to give us courage to "fight the good fight for the faith and run the good race". She is truly Remarkable.

  • excopconservative

An inspiring message but I’m troubled by two passages –
    1. (As I personally have witnessed, once a bell is rung by a biased media, it’s impossible to un-ring it.)
    2. Don’t look to government or any politician to solve your problems.

Is she saying that it would be impossible to reset her image?  Is she saying, "Don’t look to me for a solution."?

If that is the message, then I’m really depressed.

Sarah’s image can be reset and she is an important part of the solution to restoring America.

    • IsraeliCojones

       Don’t over-interpret it.

      1) You cannot un-ring a narrative but you can fight it with another narrative. Which Romney hasn’t done in this campaign. But on which she has worked hard (and partly succeeded) to reshape her image and reintroduce herself to the American public.

      2) This message is consistent with Reaganite Conservatism. She said the same when she stepped down from the Governorship on July 26th, 2009.
