    Good morning all.

It is very sad that Romney has lost, but the establishment can not blame this on Gov.Palin.

Excellent article about Gov.Palin’s record of accomplishments.

‘Who Is the Real Sarah Palin?’

    From the article:

    Executive Authority and Success

Palin was the first female and youngest governor to be elected in Alaska, which is tied for the second most powerful governorship in the United States, according to Thad Beyle, a political scientist at the University of North Carolina.

    Budgeting and Spending

Palin cut state spending between 2007 and 2010 by 9.5% while also reducing federal earmark requests by more than 80% during her tenure. She used her line-item veto to cut more than a quarter billion in superfluous spending in both 2007 and 2008. In 2009, she instituted a temporary hiring freeze, while at the same time reducing spending by more than 33% between FY2009 and FY2010.

In stark contrast to President Obama and other governors whose fiscal records are dogged by credit downgrades, Palin left Alaska with an improved credit rating during and following her tenure as governor.  Standard & Poor’s raised Alaska’s credit rating from AA to AA+ in April 2008. Then in 2010, both Moody’s and Standard & Poor’s upgraded Alaska to AAA for the first time in the state’s history due to policies enacted by Palin that made the state’s finances more than solvent.

Under Palin’s leadership, Alaska was 2nd in job growth, and 3rd in the change in its unemployment rate, compared to the other states. Alaska also saw a record number of oil jobs in both 2008 and 2009, while natural resource and logging jobs increased 13.7% during Palin’s tenure.

In fact, Palin’s record on jobs compared to the country as a whole was stronger than the President’s and other prominent governors’ during their respective tenures

    Business Growth

Alaska was an opportunity society under Palin. Alaska moved up from the 4th most business tax-friendly state to the 3rd most business tax-friendly state during her tenure.

Palin was a firm believer in tax cuts. In addition to lowering unemployment insurance tax rates, she cut business license fees in half, suspended the state motor fuel tax, and signed legislation, allowing Alaska-based businesses the same opportunities as out-of-state businesses. All of this was consistent with her record as Mayor of Wasilla, where she eliminated small business inventory taxes and cut property tax mill levies every year she was in office.

Energy issues are Palin’s forte, and her record proves it. In 2007, Governor Palin signed ACES—Alaska’s Clear and Equitable Share—a net tax on oil profits that was passed in a bipartisan and transparent manner. ACES replaced the corruption-tainted oil tax plan of the previous administration, which was passed in secret and ultimately lead to the federal indictment of several Alaskan state officials and oil company personnel. Furthermore, ACES provided oil companies with incentives to develop. The progressivity of the tax meant producers were protected when oil prices were low, but the interest of the resource owners—the people of Alaska—were appropriately protected as well to achieve a fair return for their resource.

Most importantly, ACES led to jobs, increased development, and a huge surplus for Alaska.

Perhaps Palin’s biggest energy achievement was spearheading the creation of the Alaska natural gas pipeline. After five decades of unsuccessful attempts by Alaskan administrations to bring a gas pipeline project into existence, Palin and her team introduced the Alaska Gasline Inducement Act (AGIA) in March 2007. AGIA passed the Legislature by a vote of 57-1 in May of that year.

Unlike the behind-closed-doors cronyism of past administrations, Palin’s AGIA legislation was conducted out in the open and made use of a genuine free-market competitive bidding process. Palin’s AGIA placed not only Alaska, but also the nation, further on the path toward energy independence.

Palin played hardball with the big oil companies in her state. According to the Alaska state constitution, Alaskans are the resource owners in their state; and it was Palin’s duty as their CEO to get the best deal for Alaskans while at the same time partnering with these oil companies for the mutual benefit of all.

    Ethics Reform and Transparency

Ethics reform was the hallmark of Palin’s governorship. She was swept into office on a reform message in a state with a serious corruption problem. Alaska at the time was undergoing a federal investigation that culminated in the indictment of various corrupt lawmakers. Palin had made a name for herself as an ethics crusader when she chaired the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservative Commission and blew the whistle on fellow commissioner and state GOP head Randy Ruedrich for doing party business on state time. This resulted in Ruedrich receiving a $12,000 fine—the largest civil fine for ethics in the state’s history. Alaskans respected the fact that Palin was not afraid of taking on the establishment of her own party.

As governor, Palin fought for and signed sweeping bipartisan ethics legislation, which restricted lobbyists, improved disclosure laws, and improved executive and legislative branch ethics laws. In the face of corruption, she continued to take on her own party when it was necessary. She also increased transparency by releasing her oil tax bill to her constituents 17 days prior to the special legislative session, opening up natural gas pipeline deals to all potential parties, putting the state checkbook online, and not allowing lobbyists in her office.

Palin forward funded education to allow districts greater flexibility, supported increased vocational training and early education funding, opened up opportunity to Alaskan students to participate in regional medical schools, and increased overall funding for special needs education by 175% (before she herself became the mother of son with special needs). Believing that the best reform was close to home, Palin wisely also chose to monitor rather than participate in national standards for education.

    Health Care

Palin introduced health care transparency legislation that established an Alaska health care information office to give consumers factual information on quality and cost to help them make better-informed health care decisions. Recognizing that health care must be market-and business-driven, rather than restricted by government, Palin proposed repeal of Certificate of Need—a layer of bureaucracy that prevents medical facility development. She established the Alaska Health Strategies Planning Council, reduced Medicaid assessments by 83%, and expanded Alaska’s SeniorCare benefits program for low-income seniors.

      Thank you so much, ZH!!

It is particularly important, in this bleak yet hopeful (Sarah 2016) hour, to continue with the patient promotion of and defense of the Governor and her genuine character and positions, as you have faithfully done for so many months now.

      God bless you!!

      • ZH100

You are welcome, Brianus and good morning!

    • Jthom26837

How Right you are ZH100. The establishment cannot lay a finger on Sarah Palin on this one.

  • BrianusBerkleianus

    My Dear Friends in Sarah,

Happy, and I do mean HAPPY, Wednesday to you all!!

    SARAH 2016.

This is now our banner; this is now our standard; this is now our battle cry for the next four years.

I have a few thoughts to share with you about what yesterday’s results mean, and where the future is leading us!!

The election of 2012 will be the last one cast in the old mold, in the old ways, in the old order. Never again will a RINO Moderate and his allies be able to grab the nomination of the GOP.

2010 was the wave of the future; 2012 was the last gasp of the old path, both for the wretched GOPe and for the commie thugs who have taken over the Democratic Party.

As a prologue to what I am about to say, I want to share with you some personal information about myself. Some of you may be aware of what I am about to say; some may not.

I am half Hispanic. I look "white," from my late father’s side, but, on my mother’s side, I am Latino.

My late mother spoke Spanish before she did English, and yet she had a perfect command of the English language, and a deep and comprehensive knowledge of English literature. In fact, she and my dad met in a Chaucer class on the UC Berkeley campus.

Therefore, I can say, on solid grounds, that I am, at least to some extent, part of that demographic that is going to play an increasingly powerful role in US politics in the years to come.

Guys, let me say it bluntly:

There is no way in HELL that a Party that:

    Has formally rejected God;

    That has embraced gay "marriage";

That has espoused the radical pro-abortion position, including partial-birth abortion …

There is no way that a vicious Party like this can long hold onto the Hispanic vote, if a CLEAR VOICE is lifted up from the mountain tops in opposition.

I look "white," as I have said, but many of my first cousins are obviously Hispanic. I know many Latinos, wonderful, hard-working, family-oriented, CONSERVATIVE people, even here in the San Francisco Bay Area.

    Hispanics are pro-life.

    Hispanics are pro-family.

Hispanics are PROUD and hard-working, very hard-working; they do not want hand-outs!!

They, no WE, have our pride; we LOVE America and we love the Lord.

All we need is a MOSES to lead Latinos, and all Americans, out of the "Egypt" of the vicious, vile, pro-abortion, anti-family, anti-individual-initiative Democratic Party!!

Now, the GOPe Establishment knows this too, at least to some extent.

What is their solution going to be?

They will, IMV, push Marco Rubio for 2016.

This is typical of the way such people think. They look only at the SURFACE of things. They have not the intellectual acuity and spiritual perceptions to plumb to the deep places of this world, the deep places where TRUTH rests and resides. Draft a Latino to "appeal" to Latinos.

Rubio may have his good points; however, he is not, in my view, the hero and stalwart that these times cry out for.

My friends, Sarah can speak to the hearts, to the minds, to the souls of all Hispanics. Indeed, she can speak to those fundamental values that ALL Americans hold most dear.

Sarah is "tolerant" in the best and truest and most beautiful sense of the term.

NOT in the sense of COMPROMISING PRINCIPLES, but in the sense of LOVING ALL AMERICANS!!

She is the one who can communicate to Latinos, to African-Americans, to all of us, what are the foundation blocks, the Constitutional fundamentals, the principles of our Founders that made our country great in the past, and that will make her great in the future.

My friends, we must never again allow the GOPe Establishment to choose our candidate for us.

IF, IF–and may the good Lord guide her–if He gives the Governor the good word, if he says "GO," we will unite behind beautiful-souled, lovely, brave, generous, kind, gracious, fearless, SARAH OF ALASKA in order to wrest our beloved country away from both the commie thugs and the GOPe compromisers.

So, let us not grieve this morning; let us not be despondent; above, all, let us not despair!!

Let us be filled with lofty hopes; with steely resolve; with a spirit, a fighting spirit, that can never be extinguished.

The night has passed; the dawn approaches.

My friends: DEO VOLENTE, SARAH 2016; SARAH SEMPER–Sarah Always!!!!

    God bless you all always!!

I am feeling the same way.

        • BrianusBerkleianus

          You are most welcome, CTmom!!!

Brian,  thanks so much for your post.

I was looking forward to your words of wisdom this morning.

      • BrianusBerkleianus

        You are most welcome, 2C714!!

        God bless you!

Brianus – Of all of the excellent comments you have made here for so long, this is by far the best, most uplifting and most appropriate of all. You are a gift to us all in this time of disappointment. Maybe, this is what Sarah saw in her prayers concerning her decision to run or not, that the evil that is the Left has not been fully exposed, that God is not going to address this in half measures but wants the full measure of consequences to be laid bare for all to see, to set the stage for His choice, His servant, His Daughter to lead us out of Egypt.

      • BrianusBerkleianus

Thank you and God BLESS, Jerseymark!!

    • Anno76

      Hi Brian,
The "North Star" shines forever ….

      SARAH 2016!!!

      • BrianusBerkleianus

        Hi, Ann!!

        The "North Star" shines forever–Amen!!

        SARAH 2016!!

    • CharterOakie

Ave frater fidelis et amicus eloquens.

Outstanding!  I believe that you have called it exactly right.  As much as I shake my head in disbelief that so many in this country insist on ranting and raving against all that is good and pure and true — to their own detriment — nevertheless I remain hopeful that good can come out of it eventually.

Surely the GOPe must go!  And conservative patriots must acknowledge it!
And we must continue to push back against the corrupt LAMEstream media!

Certainly a leader for America has stood forth, willing and able to serve.  She truly shines.

! Que Dios te bendiga, hermano, amigo!

      • BrianusBerkleianus

        Gratias tibi ago, frater fidelis!!

!Que Dios te bendiga, hermano,  amigo … siempre!!!

2016 will belong to us (Gov. Palin and We the People).

    It’s our time now.

    • BrianusBerkleianus

      Amen, Iam Quang!

    • ZH100

Well, many Obama supporters  (and many others ) are also "we the people" .

What I am trying to say is that it is a wrong approach  to considers that many people not "we the people" .

If we want Gov.Palin to win in 2016 we must unite and broaden her support.

So, I think that using the term "we the people" only for Palin supporters is a wrong approach.

In AK Gov.Palin had a 80% approval rating; including , independents , Democrats, religious people , non religious people, etc.

      • TENCOLE

So, what is your approach?  Bend what you believe in so just to appease others?
Mitt just tried that and it only mucked things up.

        • ZH100

It has nothing to do with appease others and it has nothing to do with Romney.

As Mayor and Governor  (before the media attacks ) Gov.Palin had always high approval ratings, because she is a reasonable down to earth  person who is willing to listen to others.

Unfortunately the media painted her as some kind right wing religious extremist; but we all know from her record that it is not the truth.

As Mayor and Governor she worked with independents , Democrats, religious people , non religious people, etc.
          Gov.Palin wrote in her book:

          From "Going Rogue":

"Then he changed gears, shifting the topic to social issues. He seemed impressed when I told him that people in my own family disagree on some issues like abortion, but that we don’t argue over it at the dinner table. I have one relative who expresses her pro-choice position articulately.

My own pro-life opinion diverges from hers by 180 degrees, and we’ve had great, civil discussions on the topic.

It would later amaze my family and friends that the Obama-Biden camp and their media friends painted me as rigid and intolerant. It was assumed that I refused to hear alternative points of view and used topics like abortion and homosexual marriage as a political litmus test.

I explained that I had never asked anyone, including the Democrats I appointed, what their position on abortion was, and I didn’t discuss my opinion on homosexuality with cabinet members or judicial appointees, either.
Schmidt seemed surprised and pleased, even when I reiterated that I was solidly pro-life and hoped they would never try to temper my position on the issue.

Then we talked about gay marriage. That’s when I told them about Tilly, my junior high friend and college roommate, who, after college, decided to openly live her lifestyle she chose with her partner. To me, she was still Tilly. I loved her dearly-loved the whole Ketchum family. I explained to Schmidt that I opposed homosexual marriage, but that didn’t seem too controversial in the campaign since the Democrat candidate for president held the same position."

      • BrianusBerkleianus

        Good point, ZH.

In my humble and hopeful opinion, the Governor can win over many people who are not BENT ON EVIL (as I believe obama and his inner circle are), but are simply deceived and misled.

So many millions will respond to our beautiful (inside and outside) Sarah, once she lifts up her voice and clarion call for American liberty!!

  • Pete Petretich

It looks like the Sarah interviews from last night have been removed. Is Fox RINO News suppressing them?

    • devitor

They haven’t gone anywhere. They work fine. I just reloaded them on my site.

  • Pete Petretich

Will Eric Cantor be the new Speaker of the House?

That is a very good question. hmmmmm

    • Betsey_Ross

Heck, no.  John Boehner just promised bipartisianship.  Yeah, that’s going to really work.

  • wisetrog

Let us start by demanding Boehner reisgn.

  • Pete Petretich

I never believed that Romney was pro-life.

Well he was…and then he wasn’t…and then he was again. It was hard to keep up.

As I face an uncertain future for our country and myself personally, and waves of disappointment will most certainly overwhelm me today and throughout the next few weeks, these bible verses come to mind:

"You will guide me with Your counsel, and afterward receive me to your glory." Psalm 73:24

"For you have been a shelter for me, a strong tower from the enemy."  Psalm 61:3

"And blessed be God most high, who has delivered enemies into your hand."  Genesis 14:20

"For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, Fear not, I will help you."  Isaiah 41:3

"If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land."  2 Chronicles 7:14

I pray for God’s strength in the coming days, weeks, months and years.

    Dear Ones……..
This morning, many Republicans are thinking, "How do we better FAKE our way into office next time, WITHOUT revealing our actual plans or beliefs?  After all, LYING sure works for DEMS!"
Wow, what a mess….  We are being set up to take the blame in 2016 for the very recession/depression that Zero HIMSELF is about to cause……

In the face of increasing immorality, how do we teach and promote ethics and conservatism?
Sadly, sex sells—and abortion is the foundational issue that divides the parties and Americans.

    • Mountain

P.S. The Republicans I’m referring to are on the TV shows, covering the election—-and I think other pols and their staffs ALSO think this way.

Yes, it’s wrong to lie and pander—-so my question is, how DO we lead people to the Truth, to conservatism, to moral behavior!?  Our task is very daunting, given the national trends toward libertine values….

    • WardR

Mountain, I strongly expect that we’re in a recession right now.  A substantial portion of the economic activity we’re seeing now is in anticipation of the end of the Bush tax cuts and the business devastation of the sequestration.  Let’s face it: It’s not a coincidence that Lucas sold out Lucasfilms (which he owns 100% of) for more than $4 billion to close before capital gains tax rates go back up after the first of the year.

What we are seeing is the economy coming to a grinding halt.

      • barracuda43

You haven’t seen anything yet. Wait till the market collaspes from the debt. It is not going to be pretty. My suggestion is be very frugal and batten down the hatches. It is going to be a very rough ride. Don’t worry captain Obama of the Titanic has your back. Snarc!

        • WardR

I’m not even sure he’s qualified to run Titanic onto an iceberg.

  • ZH100

cuatrocinco45 posted this interesting comment in the other thread.

"BTW, remember a post here a while back about how that Dem in the ND Senate race agreed with Palin on energy?  Looks like she won tonight.  So the Gov already has some bipartisan support built
    in for 2016.

Another interesting tidbit.  Obama won the gay vote 76-20.  In 08 he won it 70-27.   A net +13 swing for him.  And I thought the media told us how intolerant Gov Palin was.  She and McCain did better among gays than Romney did(I think that 27% was an all time high for the GOP in the gay vote)/

McCain/Palin also did better among hispanics.  31-68 vs 27-71."

  • Pete Petretich

The big thing I’m wondering about today is whether I will get another monthly boost to my food stamp account. I should, since the first paycheck from my new job doesn’t arrive until Friday.

Normally I get $200 on the 7th of each month…

    • Janna Blanter

      She squeeked by 50.41%

      • Pete Petretich

        I don’t know if that’s a good thing.

        • barracuda43

What a stupid thing to say Pete about Bacahman. One of the few conservatives left with a 100% conservative voting record and your questioning her winning. Go buy some groceries with food stamps!

          • Pete Petretich

Dr. Bachmann is unstable and not to be trusted.

            • barracuda43

Bachman is stable and a true conservative. Your shameful. You are just mad because she ran for president. Just to inform you every American has that right to run if they like. Bachman would be a good speaker of the house.

      • wisetrog

shucks. it’d have added a nice touch if she had lost.

No it wouldn’t. This isn’t an effing game we’re playing here, although it may look one from New Zealand.

She won her House seat again.

In the Senate, so far 7 Republicans have won.
      23 Dems won.
Two races are too close to call:  Montana and ND.

Anyone know what the Senate totals are now, with the above figures?
      How depressing for Republicans…….

Did Ryan win his Congressional seat? He was running for the seat and VP at the same time.

Yes, his seat is safe for him again….. Bless his true heart of gold.

1.The Electability argument for a Establishment candidates only is over – it won’t work in 2016 or many elections to come

    2. A "Vote against someone" strategy is also gone out the window as well, it clearly doesn’t work. We must have a candidate that many can "vote for" enthusiastically as well as vote against the incumbent party nominee

    3. Must be aggressive in defending potential conservative candidates from the establishment and media looking to sack them before the race even heats up

    4. Must be "willing" and "ready" to move off the plantation of the Republican Party if necessary, if one has to make excuses repeatedly for them, that may tell you that something is wrong

    • toughluck2

      5) fight back early, fight back hard, dont let the media define you negatively through repeatition

  • Janna Blanter

I am deeply saddened with realiization that the country to which I came over 36 years ago no longer exists. My faith in american people has been deeply shaken as I can not imagine why anyone would have voted for 4 more years of debacle we have witnessed over the last 4 years. Japan had its lost decade and so now we will, that being of course the best case scenario.

One thing we must do is never become fragmented. We learn the lessons learnt in 2012 and apply them in 2016. We will not have second or third choices and use this board to push our agendas. We will stay true to Gov.palin all the way and the mission of restoring freedom to America.

    • $26225604

even here we cant define what it means to "stay true" to gov palin. we cant even agree on her agenda. politics for political junkies is too passionate not to "push our agenda"

  • Freempg

Let us take this as a reminder the GOPe is a co-equal evil. It’s time to pose a third-party threat. What do we have to lose? We are stuck with Obama for another four years. Let’s finally fight back. It’s high time we cleaned house … or better yet why waste the time, let’s convene a convention to officially establish the Tea Party.

Reposting this about Allen West’s defeat …

"This has not received a lot of national attention, but the Republican legislature in Florida is about to push through a plan which puts Allen West at serious risk, and the person leading the effort is one of Mitt Romney’s spokemen. "

    • Guest

AND even " Lapdogs", yes I mean lap dogs, El Rushbo and Mark Levin went right along with the Bush mafia’s plans. They never called them out on this issue.

I am fed up with all of them. The writing is on the wall. So called conservative talk radio is not on our side. Their intention is to convince you to go along with the Bush mafia’s plans.

Turn conservative talk radio off. Flip them the bird they flipped the conservative base. Learn to think for yourselves.

And I might add that the Bush mafia’s replacement for Allen West in Fl-22, Adam Hasner, who co-sponsored Gore-bull warming legislation in Florida, got his clock cleaned by the Democrat dragon lady he ran against.

Also, the Bush mafia’s poster boy Connie Mack got his clock cleaned against corruptocrat Bill Nelson in the senate race, a former astronaut who is just fine with Obama’s plans to decimate NASA and push Islam.

In 2010 Florida was the state in the nation that totally embraced the Tea Party candidates. The Bush mafia went to work immediately to undermine us starting off with buying off Florida A/G Pam Bondi. Rubio was always the Bush mafia’s boy. We got conned on that one. El Rushbo and Mark Levin don’t high light that fact either.

      • dave7777

I cannot forget Bondi being the CZAR for Romneycare. Planning on pushing it in other states. I was stunned.

  • Kalena

I just can’t comprehend the magnitude of this defeat.  It breaks my heart because I know that Obama is going to dump the constitution and do whatever he wants with no pushback in Congress.  He will probably end up with 3 more Supreme Court nominees.  That is just devastating.  He will probably open the borders wide with an amnesty program that is so easy to fraudulently qualify for that we will have 20 million new hispanic voters in 4 years.

We have humongous problems that this poser is just not prepared to handle.  He has no leadership skills.  He spent $6 trillion extra dollars in 4 years and we have NOTHING tangible to show for it.  That money just VANISHED!!!

He is not prepared to tackle entitlements that is going to cause our country to go over that cliff.  He is going to gut our military, leaving us very  vulnerable.  He is going to entrench Obamacare into our economy, just completely wiping out an entire industry.

He is going to pass coal regulations causing electricity to necessarily skyrocket.  He is going to completely gut the true separation of church and state by imposing obamacare on faith based institutions.

Full time jobs are going to disappear by the millions as employers decide to put everyone on 29.5 hours per week so they don’t have to pay for health care for their workers.

We are going to experience inflation that is going to be astonishing in scope because the fed is just printing money with total abandonment.  We are going to suffer sky high interest rates as the fed then turns around and screws us by trying to combat inflation.  We are going to truly experience 13% unemployment that the main stream media won’t be able to hide and the labor secretary won’t be able to fudge numbers to hide the real unemployment rate.

Banks won’t be relieved of Dodd Frank so money will remain frozen to small business owners and entrepreneurs.

Forget those poor folks affected by Sandy.  That mess will be mishandled for the next decade.  NYC is going to be lucky to have subway service in the tunnels under the east river before next summer.  That entire system is going to have to be gutted and replaced because the tracks are trashed, the electrical system has to be replaced, etc.  And because it is required to be done by union labor, it will take 3 times longer to fix than it should.

So with all of this facing us, will we be able to recapture the outrage and rise up like we did in 2009 or are we just outflanked and defeated by a lawless, corrupt regime who just bought themselves 4 more years of tyranny?

I really don’t know how this is going to play out.  Right now, I am just numb.
