Romney campaign exploits Obama’s "Secretary of Business" silliness

A couple days ago I mocked Obama’s hopelessly naive notion that he could jump start the economy by creating a new federal bureaucracy to be administered by a "Secretary of Business":

…does Obama really believe that the appointment of another government bureaucrat, whether you call him a czar, a secretary, or King of the World, will do anything to stimulate private sector jobs? Does Obama think a Department of Business would be any more successful at creating jobs than, for example, Steven Chu’s Department of Energy is at creating energy? Second, and perhaps funniest of all, is his oxymoronic contention that the creation of another cabinet level department over which his new “Secretary of Business” will preside would in any way “streamline government”.

Mitt Romney’s campaign saw an opportunity and, to their credit, capitalized on it.

Doug, thanks for drawing this ad to our attention.

The only thing government "creates" is more of itself.

Yes of course.  A Secretary of Business.  And whom would this new Secretary be?  Another Ivy League know-nothing.  Perhaps Elizabeth Warren.

No thinking human could cast a serious vote for Obama.  Which tells us that this country survives in spite of the millions of fools walking among us and voting.

I just thought of something that should make everybody happy.

What is Barack Obama really (supposedly) good at?  Giving speeches.

What do ex-presidents do? Give speeches.

The chamber of commerce and many conservatives support the ideal of combining activities that are currently spread out amoung different agencies.

Poetic Justice:  Head of the Business Department is the Secretary, i.e., the "S.O.B."
