Steelman tells us why size matters to President Obama.

From Rock Bottom to Recovery

Pattie Mallette, the mother of Justin Bieber said she found God when she hit rock bottom after a suicide attempt that landed her in the hospital. Mallette, a sexual abuse victim had descended into a world of drugs, and despair. A man who had been visiting her told Mallette that she had nearly lost everything there is to lose, "what is there to lose by giving God a chance?" Mallette chose to follow his advice, thus beginning her long journey to recovery.

Mallette conceived Bieber, when she was 17 – the same age that Bristol Palin had conceived Tripp. Everyone around her advised Mallette to abort her pregnancy. Pro-lifers often say that one never knows if the baby in a mother’s womb is going to be the next President of the United States or a doctor who finds the cure for cancer. Mallette of course, conceived a successful rock star whose Gangham Style is all the rage. Prior to her pregnancy, Mallettee had always been pro-"choice."

Bristol Palin gave copies of Mallette’s Nowhere But Up in a contest for readers of her blog site. Mallette said reliving her life’s past events was painful, but writing the book proved to be cathartic.

From Recovery to Forgiveness

Mallette said one of the nearly impossible things she has done was to forgive those who sexually abused her. "If I wanted to be forgiven for the things I had done," Mallette said, then she had to also extend that forgiveness to others. Ultimately, she found that impossible task to be freeing.

Steel Resolve: Size Matters to Obama

Sarah Steelman said "size matters" to Obama because he has been meeting with CEOs of multinational corporations "who have armies of lawyers and lobbyists while small businesses have only their elected officials." Steelman said the multinationals contribute to both parties and that crony capitalism must end if there is to be true fiscal reform.
