Governor Palin: "Maybe Al Qaeda Is On The Run But It’s Towards America And Not Away From America"

Palin: This is America. We have these freedoms and we are willing to fight and die for our freedoms. That’s why it’s so extremely important to protect our Constitution. We are tolerant of other religions and other viewpoints. And nowhere else but America do we have such a privilege, such a blessing to be able to live as we do.

Gov. Palin could not have been straighter and more right than this. Terrorism is arming up and we will see the results of that pretty soon. The Benghazi attacks hide something bigger than we imagine. We are being lied, treated like ignorant stupid people and laughed at by this administration. But we’ll see who will have the last laugh.
As usual, Sarah made multiple excellent points tonight.

  • John_Frank

Ian, thank you for posting the video so quickly.

    This was an excellent interview.

In addition to her comments about Obama, Benghazi, Time Magazine and America’s fiscal situation, she came out and urged a re-think on our Middle East policy, asking why are we supporting the implementation of sharia democracy with American lives and treasure?

  • Mr.L

She was awesome as ever this evening. "Obama deceived Americans" on Benghazi. "A
more perfect union is through our US Constitution". Loved when she said about Obama "what has he done?" Simple, to the point and direct with a little humor mixed in. I heard Rudy Giuliani chuckle in the background while he was waiting to come on for his segment right after the Gov.
when she called Time magazine irrelevant.  Speaking of Time. It’s a disgrace as usual the media anoints Obama but if Time had any interest at all in looking relevant and not like a propaganda arm for the White House, they would’ve put the Sandy hook principal who was killed trying to stop the killer and protect the kids as person of the year, not Obama.  that woman’s act was the epitome of Christ’s message and that is sacrificing yourself for others. http://www.mrltavern.com/2012/12/sandy-hook-principal-should-be-time.html

    • John_Frank

Wondered who that was who was chuckling in the background when she made her comment about Time. Thanks for clarifying.

    • BrianusBerkleianus

      High Five, Mr. L!!!

    • Laddie_Blah_Blah

"… (I)f Time had any interest at all in looking relevant and not like a propaganda arm for the White House, they would’ve put the Sandy hook principal who was killed trying to stop the killer and protect the kids as person of the year, not Obama."

Wonderful insight, Mr. L.  I have thought about the school officials and teachers as being the real story of Sandy Hook, not the gunman. Their bravery and willingness to sacrifice themselves to protect the innocent is so much more deserving of recognition than the successful waging of a dishonest and destructive political campaign by a practiced and habitual liar.

      • BrianusBerkleianus

        Amen, Laddie!!

SarahAmerica was Wonderful in this interview…

    Palin- "We were lied to"

  • RomanBarbarian

One interview or one FB note from Sarah give us the energy to move on and not let the demons take over us. She is a leader, truth defender and a source of inspiration.
Sarah, for once Time was right, you are influential and you represent us like no other.

  • wodiej

Always good to hear from the Governor.

  • ZH100

    Excellent interview!

  • BrianusBerkleianus

    My Dear Friends in Sarah,

    Happy Thursday to you all!!

As I did the other day, I offer this morning NOVA ET VETERA, things new and things old.

The New: Some highlights from and observations on her interview with Greta last night.

The Old: Letter H in the "Latin Sarah" series, which I am presenting again from last spring and summer.

    God bless you all always!!

    DEO VOLENTE, SARAH 2016!!!!

    Brianus

THE GRETA INTERVIEW (emphases are mine throughout)

Re the State Department’s report on Benghazi: They admit mistakes, but no one takes responsibility for those mistakes. The Governor looks forward to hearing Secretary Clinton on the matter.

She gives kudos to FOX News for pursuing the investigation.

The frustrating bottom line in the matter: WE WERE DECEIVED; Americans were LIED TO during the election season!!

This affair illustrates the LACK OF TRANSPARENCY in the obama administration.

She asks, "WHAT ELSE DOES HE SAY AND DO THAT WOULD BE DECEPTIVE?!?" The Governor believes that there are MANY other such things.

IMHO, this is a brilliant move and progression on her part from the evidence that we HAVE about obama and his cronies to what we can INFER from the known and evident falsehood and deception!!

In other words, it is not just one or two small and incidental and white lies that obama has told; no, he is a systematic liar and fraud and deceiver. The Governor nails him yet again, as she has so often since 2008!!!

"Mr. Nobel Peace Prize" she calls the "messiah" of the Left. NO ONE in America today can pop the pompous and puffed-up balloon of obama’s pretensions the way our Sarah can!!!

    High Five, Governor!!!

The so-called Nobel recipient quashed information about terrorist activities to keep a false narrative alive during the election season.

Al-Qaeda may be on the run, "BUT IT’S TOWARDS AMERICA, NOT AWAY FROM AMERICA"–and that played out in Benghazi.

It is for MANY things that we admire and esteem and love Sarah Palin of Alaska, but this is one of the principal reasons: Her ability to coin, ex tempore, pithy and powerful verbal "missiles" to launch at the usurping regime in Washington DC!! The above is yet another shining example of this!!

On obama as Time Magazine’s Person of the Year: It is our Constitution that is a path towards a more perfect union, not obama’s way, as Time says. obama’s way and words go against the Constitution.

Then she unleashes her marvelous and fun-filled and self-deprecating sense of laughter and humor: Time once named HER as one of the most influential people in America … so how seriously can we take Time??!!

    Wonderful.

Again, on Time’s choice of obama as Person of the Year: Her first thoughts were: "What the heck has he done?"–except to drive us OVER (note she does not say "towards"; it is a fait accompli)–except to drive us OVER a fiscal cliff–Now it’s just a matter of the THUD at the bottom of that cliff, how hard we will hit bottom.

She hopes that the State Department will help that American Christian pastor who has been imprisoned in Iran.

SHOULD WE REALLY SPEND OUR BLOOD AND TREASURE TO USHER IN "SHARIA DEMOCRACY" IN THE MIDDLE EAST?? she asks.

"We really need to rethink what it is that we’re doing in some of these countries."

We have to protect our Constitution.

Guys, IMV, she presented and posited in the short and straitened space of less than ten minutes a better and firmer and sounder foundation for the restoration of both our DOMESTIC and our FOREIGN policy than all the political hacks of both Parties have done in our time.

    RUN, SARAH, RUN!!!

    And now the "Old":

SARAH HILARIS: SARAH THE CHEERFUL/SARAH THE JOYFUL (I have edited out a few words that are no longer relevant)

The Great Lion of God, St. Paul, says somewhere, "Gaudete in Domino semper; iterum dico, gaudete." "Rejoice ye in the Lord always; again I say, rejoice." … There are few if any figures I have encountered in my lifetime that follow this Mandate of Joy more perfectly than Sarah Palin of Alaska!!! … And if she wanted to be dark and gloomy and grim, who, who, I ask, would have more just cause than she does??? … Who has been attacked, who has been vilified, who has been slandered, who has had her life, her family, her country, everything she holds dear, held up to contumely and scorn and opprobrium in the way that Sarah and her life have been??? … And yet, tossed and buffeted as she has been by this maelstrom of hatred these last four years, she remains always bright, always joyful, always positive … always an exemplar of lovely and fearless faith and patriotism to all around her, and indeed to all her countrymen and countrywomen!!!… My friends, as we live through these gloomy days, the days that began with the announcement of 5 October of last year … as we face this fog of bleakness and possible despair, let us keep ever before our eyes and minds and hearts the radiant and shining exemplar of the Lady of the North Country, of her who, IMHO, always hopes in the Lord, always waits on the Lord, always REJOICES IN THE LORD: SARAH THE CHEERFUL AND THE JOY-FILLED!!!

    • 08hayabusa

I thoroughly enjoy your musings on this site. Please keep them coming.

      You are always spot on!

      • BrianusBerkleianus

        Thanks, 08!!!!

    • Betsey_Ross

Amen, Brianus.  She had bare 10 minutes and makes more sense in that time than any of our elected politicos in either party.  You are so correct.  She is starting to do to Obama what Obama is doing to our potential presidential candidates.  She is starting to take him down.  Is this a sign?  I pray that it is.

      • BrianusBerkleianus

        Amen, Betsey!!

        God bless.

  • Pete Petretich

Thank you, Sarah, for defending the Constitution of the United States of America. I guess Obama was out partying again…

    • BrianusBerkleianus

      Amen, Pete!!

  • dmac8889

Sweet and solid.  A little too modest on her influence.  She got me, and I can’t think of anyone since Reagan who has.

  • Leroy Whitby

Powerful point from Palin from 8:58 on in the video. I still wonder if she could have won this year and what was thought, said, or done to hold her back from making that run. Truly a mystery to me even after all this time.

    • TexS2012

It could be as simple as the RINO’s had their man, she would get NO support from them, and received an added warning that she would cause Obama to win and the Republicians to lose if she ran as a Republician or third party. If that was the case she must have factored in the stress on her family to go against the machine. She then made the decision not to run for President "at this time and asked her supporters to trust her." I’m still trusting her and supporting SarahPAC.

      • friskyness

Stupid GOPe they lost with "their man!’  I guess I am smarter than the GOPe, because I saw the loss 2 years before they did.

      • nkra

        1. Now that the dust has cleared and understanding the present characteristics of the party (currently represented by Boehner), it’s seems logical to assume that party was going to tactically move left for the hopes of winning independents and ignore their base.  Maybe they assumed that the base would turn out if for nothing else but to vote against Obama.  Dumb.  They made the conscious decision (even after 2010 elections) to ignore their base.

        2. I’m sure Sarah did not want to run knowing that she would:  1. Not win because she did not have party support.  To lose (even on principal) for her would be a gift to the Left as she would have lived up to all of the stereotypes that they have created about her.  The Left has always know she was a threat and has been chipping away at her since McCain first "introduced" her in 2008 —  2.  Have to put her family through a rough experience (after her daughter was threatened at that bar, I’m sure she had reservations).  Maybe there were even worse threats that we don’t even know about.

        3. She meant what she said about "not needing a title." Perhaps (like Jesus’s example), her announcement that she was not running would be equatable to being martyred for the cause.  It would make her a more powerful and relatable voice as it was truly representing the people from the ground level.  She knows her role is support the Tea Party movement as the opposition to the Leftward turn that the country is taking.  She is the true heir to George Washington.

Maybe some or all of this why she didn’t run.  Maybe none of it is.  I still only trust her confidence.  Everyone else has let me down.

  • GetWhatYouPayFor

Nothing but the truth, as usual. Obama is deceptive. He supports "Sharia democracy" with our tax dollars and blood. He wants to transform our Republic and replace our Constitution. The Media is his co-pilot and enabler. Focused, targeted and communicated in simple. truthful terms for all. Listen up, America. The real truthful person of the year has spoken.

    • misterlogic0013

       well said …….

  • Shane Ladd

Pretty populist princess Sarah Palin is always interesting, exciting, & attractive.

  • sarahhasmyvote

Mistakes were made! How about LIES were made!!!!

Is it too early or to too late for impeachment?

    • DocBarry1

if this isn’t an Impeachable offense by a President then what is  – he lied and lied some more. He left 4 people to die.  It was 911 and he wasn’t prepared – BS- he didn’t want to do anythng to disrupt his narrative that the terrorists were not a threat – Shame on Clinton and Obama – if they were really taking responsibility they would resign

      • friskyness

Problem is voters knew Obama lied and made huge mistakes, but he got re-elected.  I still can’t believe it……..his re-election is unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!

        • DocBarry1

My belief is that there was a terrible alternative, Romney, so they voted for obama

Romney not going after obama like he did during the Primary period was a tragic mistake.

He just wasn’t a good choice and fell flat with the American people

  • DocBarry1

I hope the Governor understands that while you don’t need a title to have an impact, if you are the President you have so much more – I hope and pray that she decides to run.

If she runs, she will run her campaign her way with her people – it will be honest and exciting. It will show Americans that the caricature of her was false from the start and it will provide all of us with a real choice.

If she doesn’t win it will be on her terms with no regrets – we need her , the country needs her

May God continue to Bless the Governor.

    • Ceejay

Agree Doc, we need for the Governor to have a title, keep at protecting our freedoms!

      • DocBarry1

I just hope and pray that she understands how much we need her.

"You’ll either get better or you’re going to get worse. You don’t have the opportunity to stay the same," Schembechler

        • Ceejay

Yes, hope that also the voters know how much she is needed….and the GOPe….well not much hope with Boehner as speaker…things have got to be shook up and Sarah is the one to do it if she has the fire to do so.

          • DocBarry1

Absolutely – let’s hope that she is convinced and that her family supports her.

  • Guest

    Wow..she’s a genius..
