Governor Palin: ‘Best Wishes to Everyone for a Happy New Year!’

Via Facebook:

Best wishes to everyone for a happy New Year! In the coming days there will be a great deal of debate about the goings-on in the political arena and the shenanigans in Washington. Constitutional commonsense conservatives must stay engaged and hold our “leaders” accountable to the voice of average everyday hard working Americans or we will very soon become an enslaved, bankrupt former nation of greatness. So, please keep the faith heading into this new year. And for now, remember to be grateful for the blessings and opportunities God has given us as independent individuals, as caring members of families, as honorable businesses and communities, and as countrymen who understand this most exceptional nation’s foundations of strength. We’ve been given all this for yet another year; let’s not take it for granted. In this new year, as jobs change with doors closing and opening, kids growing, relationships evolving, and life throwing curveballs, may you resolve to stay engaged and optimistic. May you pick your battles wisely. And may you live life vibrantly! God bless you all and God bless our great country as we promise to live out 2 Chronicles 7:14. Here’s to liberty!

Has any leader in any nation put out a message like this; calling for the best within us to meet the challenges ahead. Sarah is unique.

Happy New Year to you and your family Sarah!!

I will !!  and I  sure do miss ya Sarah!!  …..

I take the Governor’s New Years statement as a call to arms. The shameful Republican "leadership"
in Congress is falling over itself in a race to compromise and kiss the LSM’S arse. COMPROMISE WITH DISASTER IS DISASTER!!!! Current congressional thinking is "everything we said we believed in for the last three (3) years is BS – come on Biden let’s work it out". THE SMELL OF ROT REEKS FROM WASHINGTON. Look a stopped clock is right 2x a day — Rand Paul is right – Republicans in Congress vote PRESENT and let OBAMA’S people have their way. When the "Great Plan" fails – as it must" America wins… We win because we alone had the Common Sense and Courage not to compromise (and give Obama an excuse for failure) we will be there to clean up the mess and take over the Republican Party. If the LOSERS keep control of the Party—-FAIR ENOUGH!!!! WE WILL FORM OUR OWN PARTY and take Congress by 2018 and the Presidency by 2020.????????

It had better be sooner then that!

My instantaeous thought as well — both houses in 2014 and pres in 2016 or it will be R.I.P.

A Happy New Year to you and yours Sarah.

Beautiful words of wisdom from the Governor, (whom I endearingly call Sarah (SunZu) Palin out of respect for her abilities as a strategic thinker).

FYI, she also posted the same words under the following headline, along with some photographs.

New Year’s Resolution to Keep the Faith!

The photos are of Todd and Trig, Trig & Lucy (Lucy is the name of the family puppy), Piper in her sister’s truck; and Piper with the Governor in the background.

That pic of Trig and Lucy licking their lips over that baby food is hilarious!

LOL    that’s just too much!!    love it.

Sunzu….what an absolutely dinky comparison to our beloved Sarah….

If you don’t wish to go on Facebook to view the photos, they’re also posted on Palin4America

That statement is like a signature:  unmistakable identification.

In particular this passage is so fitting, as she has been living it for all to see:

"…with doors closing and opening, kids growing, relationships evolving, and life throwing curveballs, may you resolve to stay engaged and optimistic. May you pick your battles wisely. And may you live life vibrantly!"

That’s our Sarah!  Talking the walk and walking the talk.
    I thank God for her.

      2 Chronicles 7:14

14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray , and seek my face , and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

      So easy, yet so hard.

      • ears2hear

"Easy" because there are *tons* of us in this great country who *are* "called by His name"; "hard" because it would be so much easier to *not* "humble ourselves", to *not* "seek HIS face", and to *not* "turn from our wicked ways…"  I dearly love Sarah, Todd, and the principles that they believe in and *live*; they are *so* in my prayers!  Yet Sarah herself would love for us to treasure HIM, and to seek HIS face, even more than she would want us to treasure *her*!  This I feel quite sure of… When mega reporters were mobbing the room on Sept. 3, 2011, they were eager to catch every word, but there were a few that they *totally* missed:  "Don’t *stop* interceding!"  And those words, C4P friends, reveal the deep, "hidden" strength of Gov. Palin:  P-r-a-y-e-r.  Listening for — and waiting for — HIS timing.  Focused on HIS purposes.  Check out the biographies of our earliest presidents:  they.knew.HIM!!!  Zing!  May we follow in their train in this new year!  HIS hope and encouragement to all who visit this page!

      Amen, Bro!!

relationships evolving and life throwing curveballs? That doesnt sound good at all!

    • PalinIsGodsGift2USA

Uh, sounds like real life to me. And not at all in a negative way as you indicate. What Palin is talking about – is just life. How we handle all of this is the daily challenge we ALL face.

I don’t know about you, but I’ve have more than one curve ball thrown my way. Everyone has. A new year will bring new challenges and changes for us individually and as a nation.

  • 2C714

God Bless you, Gov. Palin, and your family in 2013.

Inspiring message to America, and very encouraging.  Thank you!!

  • Green Eyed Lady

Thank you for your inspiring words Gov. Palin…..God bless you and your family…..

God bless all Palinistas   ?    Happy New Year!

  • CBDenver

I just re-read this message and noticed this sequence "as independent individuals, as caring members of families, as honorable businesses and communities, and as countrymen".  Notice how that expands outward from an individual to a member of ever-larger circles of belonging.  And those are all the spheres of influence where we have "blessings and opportunities".   It’s all so much bigger than what happens in Washington DC

  • alien4palin

Very best wishes for a very Happy New Year to you, Sarah and your family

I can’t think of a better verse from the Bible than the one Gov. Palin selected.  I see examples of the opposite on almost every single conservative blog I visit including this one.  If we are truly honest w ourselves I believe we all know we could make some improvements to be more Christian.  God will not bless us until we do.  It’s so easy to blame Romney, Boehner, the GOP establishment and liberals.  But if everyone who claims to be Christian really acted like one, this country would not be in the mess it is in.
