Governor Palin: ‘We Haven’t Yet Begun to Fight!’

Today, in an exclusive interview with Stephen K. Bannon, Governor Palin answered  some important questions about her future, the tea party and Obama’s second term. Needless to say, I think you’ll appreciate her answers. Via Breitbart:

The Governor has been at the forefront of the fight against the Permanent Political Class and, as such, inspired Peter Schweizer and myself in our work last night on Fox News with Sean Hannity’s specialBoomtown.” We consider ourselves honored at Breitbart News to have her share with us her thoughts on the road ahead in this exclusive Q & A.

1. What’s next for you?

Short term: I encourage others to step out in faith, jump out of the comfort zone, and broaden our reach as believers in American exceptionalism. That means broadening our audience. I’m taking my own advice here as I free up opportunities to share more broadly the message of the beauty of freedom and the imperative of defending our republic and restoring this most exceptional nation. We can’t just preach to the choir; the message of liberty and true hope must be understood by a larger audience.

Focus on the 2014 election is also imperative. It’s going to be like 2010, but this time around we need to shake up the GOP machine that tries to orchestrate away too much of the will of constitutional conservatives who don’t give a hoot how they do it in DC. DC is out of touch, obviously. Voices on the right like Mark Levin, Rush, and the writers here at Breitbart have come out strongly against the “go along to get along” politicians who wave the white flag before the battle even begins. We’re not going to be able to advance the cause of limited constitutional government unless we deal with these big government enablers on our side. And this all ties into the problem of crony capitalism and the permanent political class in the Beltway. We need to consistently take them on election after election – ever vigilant.

As far as long-term plans, the door is wide open. I know the country needs more truth-telling in the media, and I’m willing to do that.

2. Where do you think the country stands at the beginning of the President’s 2nd term?

Before the November election I wrote that we all know what Obama’s second term will look like because we’ve seen his first. I said: “We know what we will get from a second Obama term. We will get the same failed policies. We will get Obamacare locked into law. We will get a debt crisis. We will get more inflation and higher gas prices. We will get tax increases. We will get fewer jobs. We will get more small businesses collapsing under the weight of higher taxes and unfair regulation. We will get more corruption and crony capitalism favoring the Obama administration’s friends. We will get less domestic energy development and increased dependence on terrorist sponsoring foreign regimes for our energy needs. We will get a ‘blame America first’ foreign policy that bows to our enemies and snubs our friends like Israel and leaves America and the world less safe. We will get less opportunity and security for ourselves and for our children.”

Predicting the future has never been easier because here we are! Already we see higher taxes, a stagnant economy, the same inflationary monetary policies, Obamacare looming like a dark cloud over small businesses, yet another demand for “debt ceiling” increases, continued stonewalling about the tragic Benghazi attacks, a Secretary of Defense nominee who has a history of being antagonistic to our ally Israel, and the attack on our Second Amendment rights by an administration that has no respect for the Constitution or the separation of powers.

3.  The MSM have declared both you and the Tea Party dead and buried. Reaction?

I was raised to never retreat and to pick battles wisely, and all in due season. When it comes to defending our republic, we haven’t begun to fight! But we delight in those who underestimate us.

“We have not yet begun to fight”
Our Palin is a true white knight.
In darkness she will shine the light
And fight for freedom with all might

Our country is at crossroads now
The road we take will show us how
It’s life and good – when right you choose
Or death and evil – left to lose."
Deuteronomy 30:15 (KJV) See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil.

      Thank you, thank you, LB!!

      • BrianusBerkleianus

        Yes, yes, daisy_mae!!

After the long NIGHTMARE of having to watch that person, barack hussein obama, sneering at America while he tries to destroy us …

It will be like ascending to Heaven from Hell to have SARAH speaking to us as OUR President!!!

    • BrianusBerkleianus

      LOL, Bro!!!

  • John_Frank

Stacy, thanks for posting this excellent interview by Steve Bannon of the Governor.

Notice that she also sent out a tweet promoting the interview and posted a link to the article on her FB wall.

P.S. Hopefully we will see some video commentaries. Please.

  • qtdb7

We the People are just getting warm up.

  • Mr.L

"The problem is that some on the Right are now skittish because of the lost 2012 election. They shouldn’t be. Conservatism didn’t lose. A moderate Republican candidate lost after he was perceived to alienate working class Reagan Democrat and Independent voters who didn’t turn out for him as much as they did for the McCain/Palin ticket in 2008."
    God bless this woman.

    • n4cerinc

This is from the horse’s mouth. She knew exactly what we had in Romney just like many of us.

    • Jean_A

      In other words.

You screwed up big time thinking you could win without me.

      • Banda31

That’s if they really wanted to win at all ??!!  …..Which I seriously doubt.

    • amaze830

      Agree 100%.

    • MarkRNY

She’s the only one who matters who came out of the Debacle of 12 with cred intact–enhanced! She’s perfectly positioned to lead this fight. She’s the perfect person to DEFINE this fight!–because it badly needs defining.

Time to drop "TP" and start defining the Resistance as Commonsence, Constitutional Conservativism imo. That’s a definition, not a sound bite. That covers every vital issue across the board and eliminates pretenders. No more TP4Romney crap!

Edit–I’d add Commonsence Constitutional Pissed Off Conservative MAJORITY on a Mission to it!

      • BrianusBerkleianus

        High Five, Sir Marcus!!

    • conservativemama

She is the best at distilling the message down to its barest essence.  The woman is a master at the succinct message.  A master.

      • Laddie_Blah_Blah

        Death panels,
        Cap ‘n tax,
        WTF president,
        Fight like a girl,
        Don’t retreat, reload,
        Crony capitalism…

And on, and on, and on, and on.

Sarah is the unquestioned master of succinct messaging, to devastating effect.

        • BrianusBerkleianus

          Amen, Laddie!!

And, even as we await the Super Bowl, spring training is getting closer and closer!!

        • Budvarakbar

please do not forget "Game On!"

      • lyndaaquarius

another "great communicator " They’re born with it; that unique ability to activate goodness in a person’s heart. Not "revenge" as we heard in the last campaign. Truly a low point in American politics.

    • BrianusBerkleianus

      Amen, Mr. L!!!

  • RedDaveR

Thanks for posting, Stacy.  This is an interview I and I’m sure many others have been waiting for.

  • antonette green

I think Palin will get her self a website like Breitbart and Drudge and work from there also I think a media who wants to stick Republicans in the eye will have her on there show so they can attack her watch you will see.I might be wrong but I think that will happen.

  • Quiet_Righty

There’s this National Review summit going on right now. Ryan, Jindal and other big names. Should I even ask whether Sarah was invited?

    • JLAdevelop

No need to ask. She is invited to CPAC events but not to the "elite" National Review.

  • blkbear1

I feel better after doing some reading today about Sarah leaving Fox. I think  and hope she will be back stronger than ever! And possibly a resurge of the Tea party if they would get behind her!

  • 01_Explorer_01

You know Levin said he was working on something but was not prepared to say.  I am hoping he is working with Sarah on a plan. They both respect each other and would make a heck of a team.

  • Guest

It’s So On !!     Go Sarah.

    thanks for posting this interview….

    • racefan3

Sarah Palin:  This party we call the TEA Party is the future of politics and I am proud to be here today…

hey 3/4s….you are so right!!…Crank up the bus Sarah…lets roll!

  • raiderlou

Oops, meant to post this here instead of the open thread.

It’s going to be interesting to watch how Sarah will try to "shake up the GOP machine" when they are the ones keeping her voice confined to the choir.
They aren’t just going to take it lying down and will push back. The larger audience isn’t going to come from Levin, Rush, Brietbart or facebook so she will have to find her way into "enemy" territory so to speak. It will be fun to see how she tries to do that. I’m assuming from her comments about wanting to bring more truth telling to the media and reaching larger audiences as her long term goals that that is where she wants to go. It doesn’t sound like running for any office is in her future plans. It sounds like a standing offer to all the networks that she is open… lets see who bites.

    • uksarahfan

      Nice try arsewipe,

"It sounds like a standing offer to all the networks that she is open… lets see who bites.

Still pushing the old its just about the money for Sarah line eh. You leftist punks are so predictable. Just fck off and die OK?

      • Craig Phillips

        Reply to uksarahfan;

Oh now thats a bit harsh isn’t it? / sarc

I mean I would have thought "raiderlou’s" extensive history of commenting at this blog over the last few years should have been more than enough to prove his bonafides!

We really need to keep out most acidic bile in reserve for those who just appear out of nowhere and make back handed comments about Sarah, replaying the left’s & the GOPe tired old discredited themes about her while pursuing some lame idea that they might begin to establish themselves on this site, stay under the radar, and then pop up later & support roobio or the GOPe candidate etc.

Surely not "raiderlou" with his long history of making supportive posts of Sarah at this site…

38 comments ha ha ha ha ha – especially ones like this:

"If Hillary runs in 2016, Sarah will not and she will not only vote for her but she will publicly support her as well"

You nailed this fool correctly when you referred to him as "arsewipe".

Thank God disqus does not recognise the proper English spelling for that well deserved name lol :)

  • CharterOakie

    YES !!!

    That’s the GuvWeLuv!

All in due season…haven’t yet begun to fight…let them continue to underestimate her and us.

    Absolutely wonderful!

    • CharterOakie

I was remiss in not also quoting this line:

"As far as long-term plans, the door is wide open."!

      • senator20526

She always said if she would ever find the door open, she would walk thru………

        • BrianusBerkleianus

Indeed– thank you, thank you, Senator!!

      • BrianusBerkleianus

    • BrianusBerkleianus

      Amen, Bro, Amen!!!!!

  • amaze830

It looks like to me Gov. Palin is not only coming after the Democrates, but she is also coming after the RINOS.  I say good for her and "We the People" will be out there helping her and supporting her.  Thank you, Gov.

    • nkthgreek

She should be dubbed ‘The RINO Hunter’.

  • $7566967

The more of Sarah I hear, the better.

I wonder what "I know the country needs more truth-telling IN THE MEDIA, and I’m willing to do that," means. Does she intend to hit the airwaves with her own radio show or Internet program? Does she plan on being more involved in media in some capacity?

Sarah also gave praise to Rush, Mark, and Breitbart. Since all three are involved in media, perhaps Sarah also plans to join them.

Sarah said, "We can’t just preach to the choir; the message of liberty and true hope must be understood by a larger audience." I guess there are two ways Sarah can reach that "larger audience". One is to be more involved in media.  The second – I hope – is to hit the lecture circuit and campaign.

Either – or both – is fine with me.

  • jgrimes

    Go Sarah Palin!!!!
Let’s get the bus back out….

  • Isabel Matos

To Sarah (in case you are reading this):

You are such a blessing!  If anyone can fire up the base and shake things up in Washington, it’s you. If anyone can breathe life back into our lifeless and suffocating ESTABLISHMENT GOP, it’s you!  (A Sarahless GOP is a hopeless GOP!)

I have complete faith in you and in the Small (for now) but Potent Army who will win in the end because we have the brightest, most passionate and well-informed voters in the Republican Party!

Our party has tried to stifle us, but the spirit of freedom only grows when it is suppressed. The genie of your star power cannot be put back in the bottle.  We-the-People know in our hearts what is right
for this country. Its message of freedom is timeless, and you’re the right messenger to deliver it!

This is a dream come true to see those magic words "We’ve haven’t yet begun to fight", but it will take a lot of work.  There is a rigid and unimaginative mindset not just in the GOP leaders, but among GOP voters who don’t know that their party is actually against them, or what has been going on with you.

The media has been complicit in distorting the truth about your record. Voters must be educated (so many don’t care to read or learn anything!).  This truthtelling must be relentless so we can not only reform the GOP but take on the tyrant occupying the white house!  We can do it.  We have the truth on our side!

God bless you, Sarah, and thank you, Team Breitbart.

I watched "Boomtown" with Peter Schweizer and Stephen Bannon last night on Hannity. It was just an amazing effort, both eye-opening and shocking. Our work is cut out for us, but I cannot think of a better way to spend our time and sacrifice than for the cause of our lifetime.

    • Elwanda Burrell

I also can’t think of a better way to spend our time and sacrifice than for the cause of our lifetime.
