#1, wow. Where are you Brian?

    • BrianusBerkleianus

      :-) !!!!

      Good morning, David.

      High Five!

  • BrianusBerkleianus

    My Dear Friends in Sarah,

Happy Friday to you all, and thank you for all your fine posts in recent days!!

    In particular:

Brother VG, THANKS BE TO GOD, Deo Gratias, for your great news!! God bless you and the Boss. Prayers will continue!!

Also, thanks to our Australian friend Bogdan for his beautiful expression of love for our country yesterday–God bless you, Bogdan!!

And HUGE thanks to KentonAK for posting the Governor’s absolutely PROPHETIC remarks to the NRA in Anchorage in 2009, shortly after she resigned as Governor: She predicted that the obama forces would try to tie their "health-care" schemes to attacks on the Second Amendment. Thank you, thank you, Kenton!!

Some people are perceptive, but have not the GUTS to act on their perceptions.

Some people have courage, but are not particularly INSIGHTFUL or WISE.

The Governor is a perfect and beautiful combination of the EAGLE’S VISION and the LION’S HEART … and ROAR!!!

She is the most "qualified" person to be POTUS since Ronald Reagan.

The question, as I have often asserted, is not whether or not Sarah is qualified to be President; the question is whether or not America is qualified to have her as our Chief Executive!!

If, by the grace and mercy of the All-Highest, she becomes our President, she will see just what has to be done, and will sail and fly right in there to do it–Sudden and Relentless Reform!!!

Turning back to a bit earlier this week, I thought it was very sneaky and disingenuous what Bill O’Reilly did last Tuesday during the e-mail segment near the end of his FOX News show, "The Factor."

He displayed two missives that were sent to him in response to his Monday piece on julianne moore’s despicable and gratuitous swipe at the Governor during the Golden Globe awards last Sunday.

Out of the undoubted THOUSANDS of responses he must have received about moore and the Golden Globes, what does he choose? …what???

He selects an e-mail from someone who is, or claims to be, from Anchorage, Alaska, and who says that Sarah "quit on us."

Then, he follows with a second letter, saying that moore would have been booed off the stage if she had said anything positive about Sarah.

Very tricky, Bill; very clever … you show the second e-mail to demonstrate how "fair and balanced" you are.

    We aren’t buying it.

No, your object, IMV, was to slip that little old word, that four-letter (three for joe biden) word, that four-letter knife, that four-letter dagger, that four-letter poniard in there, a nasty little weapon that the Governor’s enemies have been trying to stick and plant in her back since ’09 …

    QUIT … and QUITTER.

She did not "QUIT," Bill, she RESIGNED.

"Resigned" is the proper and neutral term to denote her act, the "mot juste," the right/appropriate word, as the French say. "Quit" and "quitter" are terms that are encumbered and encrusted with a connotative and cacophonous dissonance from what Sarah actually did, which was to make a HEROIC sacrifice for her State!!!

This brave Lady of the North does not have a cowardly or cowering bone in her body!!

If Sarah of Wasilla is a "quitter" then Sir Winston Churchill, then Ronald Reagan, then Vince Lombardi were wimps!!!

I have noticed indeed that, whenever the subject of potential leaders for the conservative cause comes up on FOX News, leaders who can take on obama and the Left, one name is never mentioned. We hear all about the "usual suspects," especially Senator Marco Rubio of Florida, who has become the designated-conservative for Establishment forces.

But never a word about THAT woman …

Of course, this is not new; this is not news; this is not surprising; this is not shocking … but it is INSTRUCTIVE.

Both sides of the same counterfeit Establishment "coin", the julianne moores and their Hollywood and obama ilk, and the FOX pundits reveal, IN DIFFERENT WAYS, whom it is that they FEAR.

The Left engages in open and manifest and mocking insults and assaults and attacks.

The GOPe is more subtle but no less sinister.

    But …

The hearts of tens of millions of Americans, indeed the Heart of America, will never forget the fearless and fiery St. Jeanne d’Arc of Alaska, and all that she has gallantly done and dared and suffered and sacrificed for her country and our country since the late summer and the golden autumntide of 2008!!!.

IF and WHEN she gives the word, we will rise up to wrest our country back from her enemies and our enemies.

    God bless you all always!!

I shall see you again later on today, and then on Sunday with reflections on the next page of her beautiful book, Going Rogue–and to share the NFC and AFC Championship Games with you!!

    DEO VOLENTE, SARAH 2016!!!

    • blueniner

Thanks for that Brian.Yes, Kentons post yesterday was right on, it showed Sarah Palins foresight into the future.I also caught that little stealth swipe at Sarah by Bill O Reilly, its funny out of his mail bag he picks those two e-mails. He picks e-mails that he can take a hit at the writer with his usual,"Wise Up" comment to make him look like the "Big Bad Bill", blowin the smoke off his pistol as he shoves it back into his holster.

      • BrianusBerkleianus

        You’re welcome, Niner!!

Just a little over forty-eight hours until your Niners take on Atlanta!!

    • jerseymark

Good to see your morning post again as it is sorely missed. Great post. O’Reilly is nothing more than an egomaniac without a hint of wisdom. He looks out for himself. Being as big as he is, he is no doubt use to people being intimidated in his presence and by his aggressive demeanor and when Sarah would not cower before him but had the audacity to push back hard, he cannot let it go. Through his treatment of her, he no longer is "looking out for the folks".

      • BrianusBerkleianus

Exactly–He cannot forgive or forget about a strong woman who stood up to him!!

        God bless.

    • Don

"The question, as I have often asserted, is not whether or not Sarah is qualified to be President; the question is whether or not America is qualified to have her as our Chief Executive!!"

I couldn’t agree more. I’m still not sure America is ready for a "real" leader. And that is what the Gov. would be, a real leader!

Just the opinion of a dumb ole (Natural Born Citizen) country boy.

      • BrianusBerkleianus

        Thanks, Don!!

  • John B. Hefmier

    Whats going on today?

    A late thread. ;^)

    • BrianusBerkleianus

      Good morning, JBH!

  • ZH100

Excellent article about Gov.Palin’s record of accomplishments.

‘Who Is the Real Sarah Palin?’

    From the article:

    Executive Authority and Success

Palin was the first female and youngest governor to be elected in Alaska, which is tied for the second most powerful governorship in the United States, according to Thad Beyle, a political scientist at the University of North Carolina.

    Budgeting and Spending

Palin cut state spending between 2007 and 2010 by 9.5% while also reducing federal earmark requests by more than 80% during her tenure. She used her line-item veto to cut more than a quarter billion in superfluous spending in both 2007 and 2008. In 2009, she instituted a temporary hiring freeze, while at the same time reducing spending by more than 33% between FY2009 and FY2010.

In stark contrast to President Obama and other governors whose fiscal records are dogged by credit downgrades, Palin left Alaska with an improved credit rating during and following her tenure as governor.  Standard & Poor’s raised Alaska’s credit rating from AA to AA+ in April 2008. Then in 2010, both Moody’s and Standard & Poor’s upgraded Alaska to AAA for the first time in the state’s history due to policies enacted by Palin that made the state’s finances more than solvent.

Under Palin’s leadership, Alaska was 2nd in job growth, and 3rd in the change in its unemployment rate, compared to the other states. Alaska also saw a record number of oil jobs in both 2008 and 2009, while natural resource and logging jobs increased 13.7% during Palin’s tenure.

In fact, Palin’s record on jobs compared to the country as a whole was stronger than the President’s and other prominent governors’ during their respective tenures

    Business Growth

Alaska was an opportunity society under Palin. Alaska moved up from the 4th most business tax-friendly state to the 3rd most business tax-friendly state during her tenure.

Palin was a firm believer in tax cuts. In addition to lowering unemployment insurance tax rates, she cut business license fees in half, suspended the state motor fuel tax, and signed legislation, allowing Alaska-based businesses the same opportunities as out-of-state businesses. All of this was consistent with her record as Mayor of Wasilla, where she eliminated small business inventory taxes and cut property tax mill levies every year she was in office.

Energy issubeteutiful photoses are Palin’s forte, and her record proves it. In 2007, Governor Palin signed ACES—Alaska’s Clear and Equitable Share—a net tax on oil profits that was passed in a bipartisan and transparent manner. ACES replaced the corruption-tainted oil tax plan of the previous administration, which was passed in secret and ultimately lead to the federal indictment of several Alaskan state officials and oil company personnel. Furthermore, ACES provided oil companies with incentives to develop. The progressivity of the tax meant producers were protected when oil prices were low, but the interest of the resource owners—the people of Alaska—were appropriately protected as well to achieve a fair return for their resource.

Most importantly, ACES led to jobs, increased development, and a huge surplus for Alaska.

Perhaps Palin’s biggest energy achievement was spearheading the creation of the Alaska natural gas pipeline. After five decades of unsuccessful attempts by Alaskan administrations to bring a gas pipeline project into existence, Palin and her team introduced the Alaska Gasline Inducement Act (AGIA) in March 2007. AGIA passed the Legislature by a vote of 57-1 in May of that year.

Unlike the behind-closed-doors cronyism of past administrations, Palin’s AGIA legislation was conducted out in the open and made use of a genuine free-market competitive bidding process. Palin’s AGIA placed not only Alaska, but also the nation, further on the path toward energy independence.

Palin played hardball with the big oil companies in her state. According to the Alaska state constitution, Alaskans are the resource owners in their state; and it was Palin’s duty as their CEO to get the best deal for Alaskans while at the same time partnering with these oil companies for the mutual benefit of all.

    Ethics Reform and Transparency

Ethics reform was the hallmark of Palin’s governorship. She was swept into office on a reform message in a state with a serious corruption problem. Alaska at the time was undergoing a federal investigation that culminated in the indictment of various corrupt lawmakers. Palin had made a name for herself as an ethics crusader when she chaired the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservative Commission and blew the whistle on fellow commissioner and state GOP head Randy Ruedrich for doing party business on state time. This resulted in Ruedrich receiving a $12,000 fine—the largest civil fine for ethics in the state’s history. Alaskans respected the fact that Palin was not afraid of taking on the establishment of her own party.

As governor, Palin fought for and signed sweeping bipartisan ethics legislation, which restricted lobbyists, improved disclosure laws, and improved executive and legislative branch ethics laws. In the face of corruption, she continued to take on her own party when it was necessary. She also increased transparency by releasing her oil tax bill to her constituents 17 days prior to the special legislative session, opening up natural gas pipeline deals to all potential parties, putting the state checkbook online, and not allowing lobbyists in her office.

Palin forward funded education to allow districts greater flexibility, supported increased vocational training and early education funding, opened up opportunity to Alaskan students to participate in regional medical schools, and increased overall funding for special needs education by 175% (before she herself became the mother of son with special needs). Believing that the best reform was close to home, Palin wisely also chose to monitor rather than participate in national standards for education.

    Health Care

Palin introduced health care transparency legislation that established an Alaska health care information office to give consumers factual information on quality and cost to help them make better-informed health care decisions. Recognizing that health care must be market-and business driven, rather than restricted by government, Palin proposed repeal of Certificate of Need—a layer of bureaucracy that prevents medical facility development. She established the Alaska Health Strategies Planning Council, reduced Medicaid assessments by 83%, and expanded Alaska’s SeniorCare benefits program for low-income seniors.

Hey, now all the stuff we were talking about on the old thread won’t be read.  Some great posts!

  • mark1955 Get aload of this Bulshe!  The government is using "Disgruntled Second Ammendment proponents", as the protagonist’s in public mass casualty Drills, where the terrorist’s use Biological and chemical weapon’s to take out large number’s of people.

The government is in the process of Brainwashing the public into thinking God Given Second Ammendment Proponents, Tea party and Constitutionally Conservative American’s are potential terrorists and the enemy within. The reason they are focusing on Second Ammendment advocates Right now publicly,is they would like their next government sponsored "False Flag" Slaughter,to be of such magnitude and have Conservatives to blame, that it allows Obama and his thugs to have a pre-text to declare martial law and try to take away our Firearms once and for all. All with what he thinks will be public support…He couldn’t be more wrong. People are increasingly on to him and he can’t even get many of his so-called supporter’s to attend his inaugural.  Pay attention to this. They will try something and it will be Horrific blaming Conservatives. It was revealed last summer that one of the training scenario’s for tha Army, was a fictious Takeover of Darlington,S.C. by member’s of a Tea Party militia group. This scenario was written be ret. colonel  Kevin C.Benson in "small Wars Journal". Then you have this "Mush" being put into the skulls of young West Point Cadet’s making us the enemy.

Pay very close attention to that Mass casualty scenario using Conservatives as terorist’s. That will be the Next Big "False Flag" Slaughter and immediately call it into question. This from a government where you can’t mention the word’s " Radical islamist’s". I know…I’m crazy, Right?

    • polarfan

Always said he can’t do it in 4 but he’ll try in 8 -this is going to get ugly!!!

      • mark1955

We just have to keep pushing this information out there as fast as it comes in, so more and more people call it into question.

    • BrianusBerkleianus

Thanks, Mark–and thanks again for posting that great video a few nights ago with Bob Hope, the Duke, and others!!

      • mark1955

Yes, we alway’s have to keep our spirit and morale up through all of this and this is one of the way’s i like to do it. Expect more along the same lines from comedian’s intersprsed with some Frank Sinatra singing. Here’s one of Don Rickles at President Reagan’s second Inaugural. If you can endure the 30 second commercial well worth it in my opinion.

        • DocBarry1

I know that the Gov is busy with her family – but have heard any news related to Gov Palin’s contract with Fox News, any speaking conferences coming up etc?

          • mark1955

I haven’t heard anything and contrary to what other people are saying,i don’t think it would be good timing for her to make a Major statement yet on Obama’s attempt’s to try and take away our God Given Second Ammendment Right’s untill Obama and the dems do something Definitive in trying to Destroy it. Like a Ban on most semi-auto’s. Especially if it’s Bi-partisan legislation, where she can finally lit into the repubs also and document their caving on everything and show because of that caving, how it’s time for a New Constitutionally Conservative Third Party, with Governor Palin as it’s Standard Bearer and candidate for President in 2016!

We have to COMPLETELY get off the idea of working through the repubs on anything. Between all of their past complicity and the New Years morning duplicity and Chris Christie yesterday, they have to be regarded by us as FINISHED!

            • DocBarry1

I just want the Governor to run for presidency in 2016. I would prefer it to be as a third party candidate, bec I agree with you that the Gop can’t be counted on, but if she decides to run as a GOP candidate -I will stand with her

            • lanahi

I hope she speaks out BEFORE they pass any laws, though.

          • Terrenceor

Whenever a family member talks about Gov Palin, they comment on her 18 hour day of work. Since she does not have a full time job and writing is her passion, I think we can expect a book soon. Hopefully talking about how we got to where we are with the PPC and the way forward.

Hopefully she is working with AFP. Colon Powell taking a shot at her out of the blue l and nothing about her on Fox leads me to believe the PPC is worried and that makes me hopeful.

            • DocBarry1

She was reportedly working on a fitness book

I hope that you are correct!

        • BrianusBerkleianus

Thanks!!–And it was great to see The Gipper and Nancy!!

          • mark1955

Yes. Seems like just yesterday doesn’t it?

            • BrianusBerkleianus

              Sure does!!

    • Audrey_I

It is my understanding that the Federal Government has over three hundred million rounds of hollow point ammunition produced.  Why would the Agriculture Department require ten million rounds of ammunition?

      • mark1955

LOL. I believe that’s what’s known as a "Rhetorical" question!

      • Don

Maybe they have a new bug control program. One bullet = one bug dead. They also have to practice a lot to be able to hit a bug/ /s

Just the opinion of a dumb ole (Natural Born Citizen) country boy.

      • Audrey_I

The Department of Homeland Security consider Tea Party members, those who cling to their Bibles and guns along with Sarah Palin supporters as enemies.  I was responding to Mark’s concerns that we have a Federal Government that is producing this ammunition so that it could be used against the American people.

    • Don

You have to remember, God Given Second Ammendment Proponents, Tea party and Constitutionally Conservative American’s "are"  terrorists to their plans for America, not potential.

Just the opinion of a dumb ole (Natural Born Citizen) country boy.

    • lanahi

I can’t believe Obama thinks he will have public support about the gun issue when he knows the millions of guns being sold each month now!  On the other hand, brainwashing does change minds, and he’s doing enough of it.  I agree he would probably love a reason for declaring martial law and getting his way more quickly and making the conservatives its scapegoat.  Martial law may not go his way that quickly, though, especially when most of the military hates him too.  We might find out, though I hope we don’t!

We are definitely living in "interesting" times!

This is Dana Loesch and Piers Muslim Propagandist Morgan in a debate about the second amendment. I don’t know if knows just how pompous, narrow-minded and foolish he comes across.  She is NO Alex JOnes!

I watched it live, Dana made Pizz Morgan look like the fool he is, he didnt like it when she laughed at him either. Both women were great. Now Dana is getting hammered by the left.

       The article stated:

"Anyone still blaming Palin for using "crosshairs" on a political map in 2010 and linking it to the Gabby Giffords shooting needs to realize that this was not the first time "crosshairs" were used in politics and should be dismissed because there was never any connection made. "

What was actually on Gov.Palin’s site, was a map with district markers (surveyor symbols were used). These surveyor symbols were used on the map to indicate districts .

This is a surveyors mark (on Gov.Palin’s map):

      This is a crosshairs:

Crosshairs are placed on people. Map symbols are placed on maps. It’s a pretty simple concept, really.
The media turned surveyor symbols into crosshairs.

Anyway, democrats used election maps with bullseyes on them and the left Daily Kos actually put a “bulls eye” on Gabrielle Giffords back in June of 2008.

      • John_Frank

In fairness to Starnes, note that he put the word "crosshairs" in quotation marks.

Notwithstanding that, greatly appreciate your pointing out the facts.

The reality is that the map produced by which identified certain Congressional seats were Governor Palin was working to defeat the incumbent had absolutely nothing to do with the tragic shooting at Tuscon, Arizona.

Any attempt to suggest otherwise is completely dishonest and constitutes a blood libel.

    Beware the Void

Nature Abhors a Vaccum – Even though this may not be true in a strict physical sense, it certainly is experienced spiritually and psychologically. And most woefully in politics, a nation devoid of the knowledge of our rich American heritage can unfortunately be minipulated by the sinister and the corrupt.

I think that the mission of those of us who know better is to fill that void. Governor Palin certainly does so on every possible occassion.

As we could have expected from Mr. Lewis’ thought on Heaven, at some point, we would have his thoughts on Hell and so we do and will for a little bit, this passage coming from “The Problem of Pain”:

“One objection [to the conception of Hell as punishment inflicted by God] is that no charitable man could himself be blessed in heaven while he knew that even one human soul was still in hell; and is so, are we more merciful than God? At the back of this objection lies the mental picture of heaven and hell co-existing in unilinear time as the histories of England and America co-exist: so that at each moment the blessed could say ‘The miseries of hell are now going on’. But I notice that our Lord, while stressing the terror of hell with unsparing severity, usually emphasizes the idea not of duration but of FINALITY. Consignment to the destroying fire is usually treated as the end of the story – not as the beginning of a new story. That the lost soul is eternally fixed in its diabolical attitude we cannot doubt: but whether this eternal fixity implies endless duration – or duration at all – we cannot say…. We know much more about heaven than hell, for heavenis the home of humanity and therefore contains all that is implied in a glorified human life: but hell was not made for men. It is in no sense parallel to heaven: it is ‘the darkness outside’, the outer rim where being fades away into nonentity.”

Hell is a topic we do not talk about or refer to except as a curse or as a joke. For the Christian, it is the heaviest of topics for its reality stares us in the face with each person we see that refuses to believe the truth of the Gospel. I say refuses to believe because of yesterday’s reading raisingquestions about the eternal destiny of those who never heard of Jesus or for whatever reason is confused by the wiles of Satan and the world. We know that those who have heard the Gospel and simply reject Jesus are without excuse and while we might think to ourselves “well they will get what they deserve” the reality of hell comes into play. Of course, those folks who reject Jesus or simply could not care less about “religion” spend no time or give any thought to the existence and reality of hell.

On this subject, I think Mr. Lewis raises some important points, which frankly, I have been personally struggling with for some time in view of some folks who are very close to me who are not Christians. I know, for instance, that the idea of any of them spending an eternity, meaning a very long, long time as we know it, in utter torment is extremely troublesome and has a negative effect upon my joy. Christians faced with this issue have routinely been counseled with the assurance that we do not know the true condition of someone else’s heart so there is always hope. While true on its face, it is a mere band aid. I have heard preachers say that God does not send anyone to hell but rather it is the choice of each unredeemed soul since such a person could not possibly stand in the presence of a righteous God. I find that to be a feasible explanation though it assumes a place with duration as Mr. Lewis referred to our common understanding of hell. I have reached the point in my study and prayerful consideration where my focus restsupon the significance and implications of the “Lake of Fire” which according to Revelation, is the destiny of all those not found in the “Lamb’s Book of Life”. I see the Lake of Fire as final destruction with eternal significance but since eternity is different than time as we know it, duration becomes a slippery concept.

Based upon what I have come to understand about God’s plan and reason for the Creation as is set forth in The Jesus Trap ( I see that when this universe ceases to exist and God creates the new universe as was always His plan to share with His Sons and Daughters, there will be no place in God’s mind for anything that is not redeemed and brought into the new. Everything else will just simply cease to exist as His goal through it all becomes reality. This tells me that there is not an eternal duration to hell as we view the duration of time. However, since folks will appear before the White Throne for judgment for their deeds, justice would demand that there be some form of punishment to meet the individual degrees of evil deeds so that a “good” atheist would receive a lighter punishment before the second death than say Mao or Hitler. This view lightens my burden since those close to me that are not Christians are, nonetheless, basically “good” people by the world’s standards and I can rest believing that their torment will be light and quick and certainly not of eternal duration. This is currently my view on the matter and I could be and probably am wrong in some fashion but right now, based upon my understanding of God’s heart, little though it may be, it is the only view that makes any sense to me.

    • BrianusBerkleianus

Thank you so much, Jerseymark, for sharing these fascinating thoughts and reflections with us!!

Here is a related strand of thought:  I think that the Governor gives a luminous example to all of us.  She clearly has her mind and heart focused primarily on Heaven.  The joyful radiance that clothes and surrounds her at all times is testimony to this.  Now, many of the vicious and hateful and diabolical attacks that have been directed against her might tempt her, IMHO, to wish the pains of Hell on the horrible perpetrators of such acts.  And yet I am pretty sure (although, of course, I cannot speak for her) that Sarah thinks no such things, but rather prays for her enemies–instead of thinking about Hell for them.  In other words, she keeps her focus mainly on Heaven, both for HERSELF, and in praying for her ENEMIES–praying that they too may come to share that joy and peace that are so evident in her whole being.

      Anyway, I am just speculating!!

      God bless!!!

No speculation involved I am sure for after all, by doing so hot, burning coals are dumped on their heads. LOL. Yes, there is humor in the Bible. As in the time Israel’s enemies were attacked by God with Hemmaroids since they were being a pain in the ass to Israel. (I know it is spelled weird to forgive me.)

Btw, I’m still feeling happy inside that Mark Levin called the Governor of New Jersey "Chrispy Creme" on live radio the other day…

  • John_Frank

He has been calling New Jersey’s Governor "Chrispy Creme" for some time now.

remember what demint said. the opposition to obama has to come from the states, from the governors. washington is lost. good fighters like cruz are needed there, but the legal insurection against obama has to come from the repub governors. i hope sarah is part of this plan.

the indiv citizen is largly helpless against the feds. but if your governor refuses to go along, the citizens can lean on their state for support and protection from the feds.

i just dont know if there is too much ego involved with governors to work together

Disagree strongly with this statement. It runs contrary to the ideas of individual liberty and responsibility. When we begin to think like this, we are lost.

Or to put it another way:

"Be confident of this: No matter what you face, you have what it takes! You can do all things through Christ. Phil 4:13″

        Of course the individual was
intended to have power, but right now we dont. As an example, if I
choose to stand up against the feds, be it not giving up my guns or not
complying with Obamacare mandate or not allowing my waterfront property to be confiscated, I can go to jail. I have kids! I dont have money to hire lawyers and I dont have the time to devote my day to fight the feds. Do you really think I am going to choose jail?  Unless I live in
a state where my gov is fighting the feds for me or with me, Im

An individual standing alone doesn’t have much chance of defending his rights against the government.  But standing united en mass does.

Hopefully, when government comes for our guns, it isn’t just against each individual at a time.  We have to stand with our neighbors.

One state at a time is all it would take to counter the feds.

Many states have initiatives and referendums so that the average citizens can get his issues on a ballot.  Does your state?  (I am speaking to everyone)  If not, it might be the place to start now.  The 10th amendment is all we have now since our Congress is in default.
