Who is your leader in protecting your Second Amendment rights? YOU. Following are three important events you should consider attending, especially if you live in New York. Though these are not American Grizzlies United / Organize4Palin events, that does not prevent AGU / O4P from having a presence there. For instance, I will be present at the February 23 Day of Resistance described below.

February 8, 2013 – State Capitols

Sturmgewehre (German for "storm gun" or what was considered the first assault rifle) posted on the Military Arms Channel information about rallies that are scheduled tomorrow in all the State Capitols. These are follow-up rallies to those that were held last month. He urges everyone who can attend – even though it’s a work day – to get excused time and attend one of these rallies. His video was posted today. You should check within your state to see which groups are holding rallies tomorrow or any other day.

February 12, 2013 – Albany, NY

The Capital District Political Action Network is holding its rally on Tuesday, February 12 with buses being provided from all over the state. In New York State, Assemblymen Tedisco and McLaughlin are staunch Second Amendment supporters as is State Senator Kathleen Marchione. The Capital District Political Action Network also posts updated information about their events on their Facebook page.

February 23, 2013 – Staten Island, NY

The Richmond County Tea Party Patriots will be holding a Day of Resistance in front of Congressman Michael Grimm’s office at 265 New Dorp Lane in Staten Island. Grimm ran as a Tea Party Reagan-Palin conservative in 2010 and secured Gov. Palin’s endorsement. Based on her endorsement, I campaigned for him from August through Election Day of 2010 visiting over 2,000 houses, erecting signs, making calls and doing street visibility. Not long after Grimm took his oath of office, he became an establishment RINO, betraying Gov. Palin, volunteers like me, and his constituents who voted for his purported conservative platform.

Grimm threw his support behind Gov. Cuomo’s "NYSafe Act" which wholesale violates the Second Amendment and now supports the Obama administration’s "assault weapons" and magazine bans being pushed in the House and Senate. Richmond County Tea Party Patriots was founded by a work colleague of mine, Bobby Zahn who got disgusted with Staten Island Tea Party. The latter group’s leadership operates in cahoots with the RINO establishment, purportedly to "get a seat at the table."

The Day of Resistance is scheduled to show Grimm, and also RINOs Malliotakis and Lanza (NYS Assembly) our displeasure with them for supporting Cuomo’s and the Obama administration’s attempt to strip us of our Second Amendment Rights.

The time is now.

Our work continues.

I learned about the Albany rally last night. I think some from my church plan to attend. We have one here at City Hall soon, too. Let the voices be heard! Thanks, Ron.
