thanks for an inspiring video -Please run in 2016

No question who the Governor has as her US Presidential role model. She’s also got plenty of Mrs T in her as well. A campaign by Sarah for 2016 mirroring RWR would be breath-taking and invigorate conservatives like no-one else in decades. She’d flatten the entire miserable collection of GOPe prentenders. Just think about her retail politics skills alone…can any of the currently suggested names for 2016 even get close? Nah.

    Happy birthday, Mr. President.

You are loved and greatly missed, but never forgotten.

The best President of my life so far!

  • conservativemama

My mom’s favorite guy.  I’m Palin’s age and growing up in the Age of Reagan was great.  I can’t believe those years are so far back in the past.  I was 18 in 1980 and cast my first vote for Ronald Reagan.  I saw him at a campaign event that fall.  Just fantastic.

    • jester2939

That’s awesome. You got to vote for an amazing candidate for President of the United States twice!!!! I’m so hoping that I get a chance to do the same by voting for Sarah.

      • conservativemama

That’s what I want as well.  Please, before I die I want to vote FOR someone again, and to do so enthusiastically.

And oh, what a great inaugural address it was, delivered by the last truly great American president.

Looking for the next great American president.

And just so I don’t need to look too far…

    …still standing with SarahAmerica!

    Happy Birthday, Mr. President!!

Thank you, Governor and Stacy!!  I shall watch the first inaugural address again later on today!!!

What a wonderful quote from a young American by the great President. "America must win this war. Therefore, I wil work, I will save, I will sacrifice, I will endure.  I will fight cheerfully and do my utmost as if the issue of the whole struggle depended on me alone."  Truly meaningful words from a young soldier nearly a century ago.

Alas, so many of us today excuse ourselves from the battle by thinking that we stand alone, that we can’t do anything that will matter.  That’s the devil’s lie.  There is not one of you who reads this who cannot make a difference. It is up to each of us. If we only will.

Your last paragraph is priceless and timeless advice, counselor.
I hope that many here read it today. By the way, where do I send the check?  VG

It’s nice to hear from the Governor, even if only briefly.   Happy Birthday, President Reagan.

Timeless words! This is a speech for the Ages! So apt for "such a time as this"! Thank you Governor Palin for posting this speech in remembrance of a truly great President named Ronald Reagan.
Happy Birthday, President Reagan, and may there rise up another President who thinks and acts like you did, presiding over a Government that is "For The People and ByThe People" as it should be.

For the last 7 year Grove City College which is north of Pittsburgh has a forum with people that serve with President Reagan.   Michael Reagan was first & it Includes Bill Bennett, Ed Meese  It is a bit of a history lesson.

    He was a great man.

1980:  Karl Rove would have backed George H.W. Bush over Reagan.

That kind of "judgment" is why Rove has to be sent packing.

    • CharterOakie

If I’m not misinformed, he did.

      • conservativemama

I think you’re right.  Soon after I posted it occurred to me that Rove goes that far back with the Bushes.

No matter how many times I seen this, his words always give me goose bumps. One of a very few most exceptional leaders of out time.
