    Go team 11!

  • YourGMa

Team 11 had mechanical problems shortly after leaving Nome on Thursday, but they are forging on despite the problems. Good luck Todd and Scott, we salute your determination.

Been there at least 10 times today and gives the same info everytime. And I can’t find #11 on the map thing at all.

        • AZStandingBy

They are all on layover in Galena or Ruby. And it displays course time which is what defines the winner.

Should be heading out around 2pm PST by my calcs.

    IronDog Update:

Todd and Scott hit the trail again about 5:30 PM ET. I believe they only have two legs: Galena to Ruby and then to Tanana. The final sprint to Fairbanks begins tomorrow.

It’s a little hard to tell, but it looks like they are in 6th place.

  • cheers2all

Can they still catch up and end in top 3? They seem to be far behind now :-(

    • BostonBruin

They are an hour behind the 4th place team.

      • cheers2all

        That’s not good :-(

  • Jean_A

OK! Todd and Scott are on the trail to Rudy. Good luck to stay safe, Team #11!

  • Penny

Well they’re on the trail again and hauling ass now, 72 mph. Hopefully that means they got the mechanical issues dealt with. Good luck fellas.

  • BostonBruin

Looks like Team 11 has reached Ruby. On to Tanana!

    • Jean_A

THey have moved up to 6th place.

  • Jean_A

Team 11 is on trail to Tanana.

  • Jean_A

Something is not right about the course time for Team 23. They have them on the trail to Tanana and course time is only 30:37:13.

    Can that be right?

    • BostonBruin

That is their course time thru Ruby. They have been stopped for the past 20 minutes or so. Something is wrong.

Correction: their time is not-up-to-date. It may be their time thru Galena. But they have bigger problems as they’re still stopped.

      • Jean_A

        Thanks!

    • cheers2all

Do you know how many more stops they still required to take between Tanana & Fairbanks?

      • BostonBruin

I believe everyone has a layover in Tanana and they all leave from there to Fairbanks tomorrow.

        • cheers2all

          Thanks. This is getting tense.

  • BostonBruin

    Ok, this is getting interesting.

Todd and Scott are only 6 miles behind team Team 10. Team 23 is still stopped, but they are 55 miles behind them.

    • Jean_A

I have them 27 miles behind Team 10.

      • BostonBruin

Sorry, I was incorrectly looking at 10B instead of 10A.

  • Jean_A

I can’t tell if Team 8 is having problems or if the GPS is down. Same with Team 23.

    • BostonBruin

Yeah, I noticed the same thing. It could be their pingers are not pinging. Or they could be in trouble.

      • Jean_A

Team 23 is now in Tanana.

        • BostonBruin

Thanks. Looks like they lost quite a bit of time though.

  • Jean_A

Team 23 at one time was minutes behind Team 17. Team 17 is ahead by 1 hour.

  • Jean_A

Todd and Scott have 50 miles to Tanana.

  • BostonBruin

Team 8 just arrived in Tanana. So we are still in 6th place.

    • Jean_A

10 and 25 should be next.

  • AZStandingBy

    17, 23, 8, 25 and 10 in Tanana
TEam 11 still a way back. Yep, 6th place. Oh well

    • bucky321

in this kind of race when you reach 45 it is almost impossible to win
