New Video Highlights Shots Taken at Governor Palin

Concerned Women for America released a video highlighting how conservative women are often mocked and slammed in today’s America.  It begins by featuring Abigail Adams, the wife of John Adams who was against slavery and vocally fought for women to have a voice in society.

It then segues into Governor Palin, showcasing how she’s continually mocked for sharing some of the same values.  Governor Palin’s strong respect for the sanctity of life continues to get under the skin of liberals.

In this piece over at “Opposing Views,” it is written:

The second part of the video celebrated “women of virtue” such as former half-term Alaska Governor Sarah Palin and Rep. Michele Bachmann, who have supposedly been persecuted.

Palin is opposed to abortion in almost all cases, including rape and incest, but not if the life of the mother is endangered. In 2008, Palin cut funding in Alaska for unwed teen moms (which would later include her own daughter Bristol Palin).

I had a debate with a liberal a few weeks ago about Governor Palin’s time spent in office.  I pointed out how she accomplished more in those 2.5 years and left her state far better off than many of the dusty multi-termers sitting in Governor’s seats across the nation who’ve contributed to our nation’s decay by submitting to bigger government (but why won’t CPAC invite Chris Christie?).

Liberal hate for solid and decent living which is grounded in personal responsibility does much damage to the brain.  Liberals would much rather have a corrupt government run amuck so long as the politician engaging in such corruption shares their values.  Along with a party’s needs to point out the 47% of Americans who don’t pay taxes, it could behoove us to start noticing the ones who purposely look for excuses to not live up to standards in their own lives.

Aside for the fact that the writer of this piece at “Opposing Views” doesn’t give all the facts regarding Governor Palin’s policies when he says she “cut funding on unwed teens moms” before taking a personal shot at Bristol, I’d like to take this moment to point out that what is truly revealed here is how the left uses unwed mothers.

They love unwed mothers when they can argue for bigger government and more welfare.  But the true reason Bristol gets shots taken at her is because she’s taken responsibility for her actions and is raising her son on her own.  In fact, the entire Palin family has done nothing but prove to folks how you can take an unfortunate circumstance and use personal responsibility to optimize it.

I contend that it’s because of the way liberals treat Bristol Palin and others like her is why there are so many single mothers across the country who are afraid to come out of their shells to become part of the solution.  Rather, they’re scared, ashamed, and trapped by big government right where the left finds them most useful.
