    Mornin’ all!

8 more days for the PPC to launch pre-emptive smears against that irrelevant woman…who will be truly free of constraints of the first time in about a year and a half…which is when she rocked their world at Indianola.

    • PetePetretich

I hope she re-iterates the Indianola themes, but if she does so it will alienate many GOP moneychasers.

That is a good risk to take. If she keeps driving home her core non-partisan issues then there is a real chance that she could take over the party that she has always been loyal to and to take over the country.

The MSM always tries to reduce Sarah to a religious nut/ gun nut but they ignore her record and her consistency. It is possible to turn this false narrative against them. They are obsessed about stopping Sarah, she is interested in leading…

      • AZStandingBy

i think she will need to sit down with matthews, maddow, morgan and the list goes on (never give couric the time of day though) and she will need to address it face to face. she will need to be in their face and call them out. make them prove it and call them liars. i hate to say that, because i dont know if it is in her nature or if it is her strong suit.

My PA Congressman was one of the few that went to the Senate floor to #standwithrand
Republican Congressmen Louie Gohmert (Texas), Paul Gosar (Ariz.), Bill Huizenga (Mich.), Michael C. Burgess (Texas), Keith Rothfus (Pa-12.), & Jim Bridenstine (Okla.) went to the senate chamber as a show of support for the Kentucky senator

    Good morning all.

Long before "crony capitalism" became a topic of national debate Gov. Palin has fought against corruption and crony capitalism.

Taking on corruption and crony capitalism has always been a cornerstone of Gov. Palin’s agenda.

Here are some links with information about Gov.Palin’s consistent fight against corruption and crony capitalism.

‘Institutionalizing Crony Capitalism’ (by Governor Palin)

    From the article:

"We need to be on our guard against such crony capitalism. We fought against distortion of the market in Alaska when we confronted “Big Oil,” or more specifically some of the players in the industry and in political office, who were taking the 49th state for a ride.
My administration challenged lax rules that seemed to allow corruption, and we even challenged the largest corporation in the world at the time for not abiding by provisions in contracts it held with the state. When it came time to craft a plan for a natural gas pipeline, we insisted on transparency and a level playing field to ensure fair competition.

Our reforms helped reduce politicians’ ability to play favorites and helped clean up corruption. We set up stricter oversight offices and ushered through a bi-partisan ethics reform bill. Far from being against necessary reform, I embrace it. "

‘Crony Capitalism on Steroids from GE to Solyndra’ (by Governor Palin)

    From the article:

"This crony capitalism and government waste is at the heart of our economic problems. It will destroy us if we don’t root it out. It’s not just a Democrat problem or a Republican problem. It’s a problem of our permanent political class."

‘How Congress Occupied Wall Street’ (by Governor Palin)

‘Governor Palin’s Consistent Fight against Corruption and Crony Capitalism’ (by Whitney Pitcher)

    From the article:

"Governor Palin’s strong stance against crony capitalism, bureaucrats picking winners and losers, and a lack of transparency is not just words; it’s action.

Citizen candidates do indeed bring a fresh perspective to a campaign and even to public office. However, there is something to be said for someone who took on corruption while in elected office. Such an individual has governed or legislated in an atmosphere of corruption, back room deals, and cronyism and has not only weathered such an atmosphere, but has effected change for the better.

It is one thing to act as a citizen watchdog; it is another to make sure that legislation and projects are transparent and are void of back room deals and crony capitalism. Governor Palin is such a person."

‘Some of Sarah Palin’s Ideas Cross the Political Divide’ (by Anand Giridharadas)

    From the article:

"But something curious happened when Ms. Palin strode onto the stage last weekend at a Tea Party event in Indianola, Iowa. Along with her familiar and predictable swipes at President Barack Obama and the “far left,” she delivered a devastating indictment of the entire U.S. political establishment — left, right and center — and pointed toward a way of transcending the presently unbridgeable political divide."

‘How Governor Palin Reformed Alaska’s Ethics Laws and Made Crony Capitalism a Crime’ (by Gary P)

    From the article:

"With all of the talk of corruption and crony capitalism these days, this is a great time to talk about some of the things Sarah Palin did to reform Alaska politics. She worked with the Alaska Legislature to pass tough, sweeping ethics reform "

‘Dan Mitchell of the Cato Institute praises Sarah Palin for highlighting Washington’s rampant crony capitalism ‘

‘How Palin Beat Alaska’s Establishment’ (WSJ)

    From the article:

"If you’ve read the press coverage of Sarah Palin, chances are you’ve heard plenty about her religious views and private family matters. If you want to know what drives Gov. Palin’s politics, and has intrigued America, read this."

‘Sarah takes on Big Oil: The compelling story of Governor Sarah Palin’s battle with Alaska’s
‘Big 3′ oil companies’ (by Kay Cashman and Kristen Nelson)

Gov. Palin’s successful efforts to stop the cronyism and reform the energy business in Alaska were so impressive Kay Cashman, the publisher and executive editor of Petroleum News, wrote the book entitled: “Sarah Takes On Big Oil” .

This is a must read for anyone who wants to understand the leadership Sarah Palin has exhibited in the area of reforming government and industry.

Rush – McCain Staffers Trying to Destroy Sarah Palin – Nov 6, 2008

    • ZH100

‘Game Change’: A made-up narrative from two axe-grinders.

      From the article:

"From watching “Game Change,” this much is clear: (1) Steve Schmidt is an absolutely brilliant campaign strategist who gave Sen. John McCain the idea to put “Country First” (it had never occurred to the war hero); and (2) Nicolle Wallace is a demure, yet quietly ingenious, media savant who can handle any crisis.

Oh, but wait: Mr. Schmidt ran one of the worst campaigns in the history of presidential elections, losing to a first-term senator from Illinois with no experience governing anything, and Ms. Wallace let the entire message of the McCain campaign be overrun by — “Saturday Night Live”?

I spent a year of my life on the McCain campaign, and I can tell you this: Nuh uh. “Game Change” is a ridiculous farce of a movie — even more absurd as a chronicle of a major historical event — that appears to have been written mostly by Mr. Schmidt and Ms. Wallace, two players who have major axes to grind with the higher-ups of the McCain campaign.

Mr. Schmidt was a longtime loser when he entered the McCain campaign, losing race after race — he served as communications director for Lamar (Lamar!) Alexander’s pitiful run for president: Need we say more?

Ms. Wallace took a similar path, starting out in California politics, then switching to Florida. Like Mr. Schmidt, she worked in the George W. Bush White House before joining the McCain campaign. I was covering the White House at the same time; she wasn’t much of a force there, either."

‘Only Palin’s Stylist Knows for Sure ‘ (Debunking the wardrobe myth)

        From the article:

"It was a “trumped up controversy,” she writes. “I never asked the New York stylists to purchase clothes, many of the items were never worn, many others were intended for the use of other people, and in the end the wardrobe items were all returned. It certainly wasn’t true that I or my family had been on any kind of ‘big-time shopping trips.’ ”

All true, Ms. Kline said this week. Her reticence so far, she said, was out of respect to a client."

Yahoo! running headlines that discuss the possibility that the UN may have managed to make the situation on the Korean Peninsula worse over the past decade.

Wherever the UN goes, it’s bad news!

McCain and Graham ridiculed and mocked Rand Paul for his filibuster. Grahamnesty called the question "ridiculous." No President would kill American citizens on American soil with a drone, he went on to explain. Oh, Really?

I guess Lyndsey believes that no President would authorize the sale of thousands of assault rifles to Mexican drug lords that have killed hundreds of Mexicans and several Americans. And no President would leave 4 American citizens to die in an 8 hour attack in Benghazi. And no President would use Google to spy on American citizens. And no administration would release thousands of illegal immigrant criminals. And no administration would call Tea Party patriots "terrorists."

McCain and Graham are two glaring examples of why we need term limits. Self serving career politicians are destroying our country. Primary these jerks!

    • conservativemama

Those two are practically hysterical. As bad as I thought they were, they have blown me away with their pettiness. They may as well be in Obama’s cabinet. They would fit in nicely.

      • PetePetretich

They were embarrassed b/c they were enjoying a fancy Washingtonian dinner with the POTUS during the Paulibuster. He stole their thunder, boo-hoo-hoo…

    • PetePetretich

      If McCain retired…

Sarah lives in Arizona and Alaska. If she ran for Senate from Arizona wouldn’t she be unstoppable? I think she would walk away with it!

      • Budvarakbar

McLame isn’t up for another 4 years — Sarah needs to not be sidelined in the senate — the senate is an a$$kissing club — she is above that level

      • palin45potus

Yeah, they do a version of "Bensmithing" in which they feign outrage about something and this is supposed to cover the GOP.

But of course nothing serious ever comes of it, and everyone meets for cocktails afterwards and enjoys a hearty chuckle at the stupidity of the American People.

Egypt’s Christians Think U.S. Is Backing Muslim Brotherhood, Congressman Warns

There is nothing to think about here as it is an undeniable fact given the Imam Obama’s lack of concern for Christian persecution everywhere in the world to include the burning of Coptic Churches and their congregations in Egypt, and an American Christian pastor being left to languish in an Iranian prison which Obama couldn’t care less about!

American Christian pastor imprisoned in Iran fears supporters have abandoned him

Obama’s Arab Spring is the cold of winter for Christians being increasingly persecuted as a result by the pro-radical jihadist Muslim Brotherhood takeover of the Middle East that was encouraged by Obama!

Obama has no problems persecuting Christians in his own country as evinced by the diabolic dictates of Obamacare that willfully denies their freedom of religion rights guaranteed them under The Constitution!

These things happen when the fraud masquerading as your president is an antichrist figure in promoting the entirety of a culture-of-eternal-death under force of unjust law that is summarily condemned by Christianity to the extreme of seeing nothing wrong with accelerating baby killing in and outside of the womb given Obama’s non-support of a Born Alive Infant Protection Act as a dead baby promised to his Planned Barrenhood constituency must be a dead baby delivered, and using our military as captive pawns for morally bankrupt social engineering experiments in time of war, no less, that trash the freedom of religion rights of the Chaplain Corps and all whom they serve!

296,000 Americans Drop Out of Labor Force in February

The effect of the despair of those who have given up looking for jobs is not taken into account by Obama’s spinners as they continue to tell the heinous lie about job numbers that, as a result, are being fudged BIG TIME! The U6 unemployment rate which does take the loss of the labor force into account is upwards of 14%.

U6 : U5 + Part time workers who want to work full time, but cannot due to economic reasons.

Below is the overview of these six measures.

This is the proportion of the civilian labor force that has been unemployed for 15 weeks or longer. This unemployment rate measures workers who are chronically unemployed. During business-cycle expansions, this rate captures structural unemployment. However, during lengthy business-cycle contractions, this rate is also likely to include a significant amount of cyclical unemployment. U1 tends to be relatively small, in the range of 1-2 percent.

This is the proportion of the civilian labor force that is classified as job losers (workers who have been involuntarily fired or laid off from their jobs) and people who have completed temporary jobs. During business-cycle expansions, this rate is likely to capture some degree of frictional unemployment. However, during business-cycle contractions, this rate is most likely to consist of cyclical unemployment. U2 is larger than U1, but still remains substantially less than the official unemployment rate (U3).

This is the official unemployment rate, which is the proportion of the civilian labor force that is unemployed but actively seeking employment.

This is the official unemployment rate that is adjusted for discouraged workers. In other words, discouraged workers are treated just like other workers who are officially classified as unemployed, being included in both the ranks of the unemployed and the labor force. It is technically specified as the proportion of the civilian labor force (plus discouraged workers) that is either unemployed but actively seeking employment or discouraged workers. The addition of discouraged workers generally adds a few tenths of a percentage point to the official unemployment rate.

This augments U4 by including marginally-attached workers to the unemployment rate calculation. Marginally attached workers are potential workers who have given up seeking employment for various reasons. One of these reasons is that the workers believe such effort would be futile, which places them in the discouraged worker category. Those who have other reasons for not seeking employment are placed in the broader marginally-attached workers category. The addition of marginally-attached workers adds a few more tenths of a percentage point to the official unemployment rate.

This augments U5 by including part-time workers to the unemployment rate calculation. The addition of part-time workers adds a full 2-3 percentage points to the official unemployment rate. This measure of unemployment is perhaps the most comprehensive measure of labor resource unemployment available.

Long-Term Unemployed Rises, Real Unemployment Basically Unchanged

Obama is not concerned about the REAL job statistics that take into account those who have left the workforce, what’s that, out of despair of no hope for finding a job, only those that can be easily fudged to promote the heinous lie to his brain-dead drones that he’s a job creator instead of the job destroyer extraordinaire that he really is!

Another Tax-the-Rich Plan Introduced in Congress

Par for the course with the Marxists in control of the country as no reduction in the insane spending by Obama that would save trillions is ever considered, except of course the hollowing out of our military which Obama despises with America’s national security hanging by a thread which Obama couldn’t care less about as Obama’s friends, America’s enemies, are arming to the teeth!

Taxing everyone into oblivion to include the rich only ensures that there will be no rich for capital investment to create jobs in the private sector which is being intentionally destroyed by the communist in the White House who only wants two classes when the smoke clears, the ruling politburo, and their serfs in poverty dependent upon the ruling politburo controlling every aspect of their miserable lives for existence! Such is the way with the heinous lies of Marxist Socialist Utopias from the father-of-lies!

Obama Treating Bin Laden’s Son-in-Law Like a Common Criminal

When you have a sham Administration of traitors to The Republic, these things happen!

Arrest of Bin Laden’s Son-in-Law Could Shed More Light on Iran’s Collaboration With Terrorists

I find it hard to believe that "The pro-radical jihadist anti-American Muslim Brotherhood encouraged" Obama would care one whit about "the arrest of Bin Laden’s son-in-law possibly shedding more light on Iran’s collaboration with terrorists" given the ongoing massive coverup of the deaths of the Benghazi Four with no accessibility to those who were there that could shed light on that treason by the Obamunists. We need to wake up to the fact that the biggest terrorist threat to America at this point is the occupant in the White House masquerading as president!

  • palin45potus

    I point out again,

Obama’s regime designed the sequestration, and put out the word to it’s lackeys to make sure that it inflicts pain on Americans.

The GOP has to make this point to the country.

    • Budvarakbar

Pretty tricky with the Bobsey twins in there — or maybe it should be "The Boopsie Twins"

  • palin45potus

Yahoo! Is pretty excited that James O’Keefe is going to pay for his expose of Acorn back in 2009, but seems curiously unconcerned about what O’Keefe and Hannah Giles uncovered.

One of James O’Keefe’s ACORN Videos Is Costing Him $100,000

    • PetePetretich

How is it costing him? His new video about cops being helpless to protect us from home invasion is hilarious and very effective.

    • c4pfan

Why? That’s a bunch of bull he has to pay that.

  • PetePetretich

McCain is now 76 years old. If he retires then Gov. Jan Brewer might appoint Sarah to replace him in the Senate.

Who needs a campaign? Everyone knows that Sarah is a superstar!

    • john norton

PS … : Even the lost souls on the wrong side of the fence know… LOL Reply to Pete… : Brewer was one of eight republican govenors tht sold their souls to 0bama care for less thn thirty peices of silver… : (

      • PetePetretich

True, but Brewer still supports Sarah.

    • c4pfan

      I doubt it.

    • cheers2all

Sarah belongs in the People’s House, not the Senate.

      • patnatasha

I second that cheers2all. sarah belongs in the people house at 1600 Penn.Avenune

    • Firelight

Please remember that while many Arizonans love the fact that Sarah has a house there and they do love her, they do not consider her an Arizonan. They consider her Alaskan through and through. They look at her no different than the rest of the snowbirds that frequent their state.

I don’t think it would sit well with them as there are many conservative Arizonans on the state and local levels that have been fighting for change and reform for many years so having someone from another state come in and be appointed to a very important seat would likely not win her any friends.

      • Budvarakbar

Right — not only is Sarah exec material but the senate can be a dead end of sorts

Also — Sarah is not a carpetbagger — unlike the hildabeast — hey where is that olde hag anyway? Hanging out at NY Yankee spring training???
Working on the elaboration of the gang’s Benghazi defense – hmmm?

        • Firelight

          me too!!

      NO! NO! NO!

  • c4pfan

What gets me mad about McCain is that he acts like he’s concerned about what happened in Libya, but NEVER does anything about it! He has the nerve to pretend that the President of the US blamed a YOUTUBE vid and that isn’t a clue of what he would do if a person he didn’t like got in his way?

  • cheers2all

From now on, we should call Jeb Bush, Santorum, Mike Huckabee, Newt and Mike Pence among others mentioned as potential 2016 candidates, "irrelevant, past their prime and fading stars", because they haven’t done much lately.

  • cheers2all

McCain’s behavior on the Senate floor shows the viciousness of the political elites when sensing power slipping away from them.
