Governor Palin Remarks on Obama’s Planned Parenthood Speech

Governor Palin wrote the following thoughtful post, contrasting the events of the day:

There’s no such thing as a coincidence. Today I’m looking forward to speaking at a pro-life women’s resource center in Nevada. I intend again to remind women that we are strong enough and capable enough to choose life and work together to create a culture that empowers everyone to live to the fullest. How ironic that on this same day President Obama will be headlining a gala event for the highly controversial and repeatedly discredited organization Planned Parenthood. He’s the first sitting president to speak to them, but then again he’s also the first president who is so radically pro-abortion that as a state senator he refused three times to vote in favor of legislation that would simply provide medical attention to babies born alive from botched abortions. Considering the role Planned Parenthood has played in looking the other way while the mass murdering abortion doctor Gosnell butchered babies born alive from his horrific infanticide procedures and abused his women patients, it’s perhaps not surprising that this same president sees nothing wrong with allowing his name to be so openly associated with this organization.

Please take a look at the following excerpt from Jonah Goldberg’s book “Liberal Fascism” for information about the racist and eugenicist origins of Planned Parenthood, then ask yourself again why in the world our president would “bless” the cruel underlying efforts of an organization like this. Do you want him to spend your family’s hard earned tax dollars funding this culture of death? Surely there are people of good conscience within Planned Parenthood and other pro-abortion centers who will feel the imperative within themselves to find other ways to help women in their time of need. There are so many better answers than merely eliminating the most precious, promising ingredient we have on earth – innocent human life. May efforts to cull the defenseless and vulnerable not be “blessed,” instead may God bless those who decide that respecting a culture of life in America is the only way to get us out of the mess we’re in.

I wonder what makes Obama believe that God would ‘bless’ an organization that specializes in killing babies?

the dufus in charge is disgusting.

I think we all knew where this guy stood, not just from his voting ‘present’ or ‘no’ on bills to save babies while a Senator in Illinois, but I’d like to remind everyone again of these little gems:

    Or this:

It’s pretty clear that this man has no real care or moral justification for life in or out of the womb.

Palin’s comments are Truth with a capital T, especially the last sentence. Especially saying that returning to a culture of life is the only way out of the mess we’re in.

  • Lou Gutnicki

It’s uncanny. I always have found that I’m on the same page with the Governor. Really, I bought Jonah Goldberg’s book about a year and a half ago from a reference in Breitbart’s "Righteous Indignation". Goldberg’s book is a worthwhile but slow read as it is very dense, but just last week, REALLY, I read the section that the Governor is referring to. The background of Planned Parenthood is a matter of record and tht record stinks… it is anti-moral and I would say anti-human. They advocate killing the innocent unborn (and in some cases born) in the name of what!?

    I stand with Sarah Palin.

    Thank you Governor Palin.

I will always remember the moment when I moved from political opposition to Obama, the heir of ’60’s radicalism, to personal dislike for him: "If one of my daughters made a mistake, I wouldn’t want her punished with a baby". Thank you Spartan4Palin for providing the link to the tape of that, the date of it had been lost to my swiss cheese memory. It is impossible for me to understand the mindset of an individual who believes that a baby could ever be regarded as "punishment". There is no spin that can ever explain such a hideous, cold-blooded remark. I have no way of knowing but I would not be surprised if he has no problem with the actions of that Mengelian monster being tried in Pennsylvania. I truly pity President Obama’s family.

I’m well aware that Presidents have almost no ability to overturn Roe v Wade to return control of this issue to the states. That said, one of my many reasons for supporting Gov. Palin is her deeply held feelings so eloquently expressed in that beautifully written Facebook post. God bless you Mrs. Palin, you and all those in your life who know you and love you and who bless you. Thank you for your eloquent, passionate defense of the most helpless among us. You are a national treasure.

This is so true what you wrote:

"It is impossible for me to understand the mindset of an individual who
believes that a baby could ever be regarded as "punishment". There is
no spin that can ever explain such a hideous, cold-blooded remark."

And how in the world he can call himself Christian is beyond me.

Obama’s remark was made in reference to his own potential grandchild as well. The man makes my skin crawl.

        • blackbird

wow! as hope4palins wrote "It is impossible for me to understand the mindset" it leaves me speechless.

I cannot stand to hear him speak, truly I cannot, I rely on transcript.

          • hope4palins

"I cannot stand to hear him speak". I thought I was in a tiny minority feeling that way because it is repeatedly said what a gifted speaker he is with a teleprompter. With one exception, I have avoided listening to any of his speeches since the 2008 debates, that being the one after the CT shooting; the political slant to that speech helped push me back into the struggles I had with repeated mild illnesses last winter. The only time I can bear it is when Mark Levin plays soundbites because he says it hurts him too (he refers to them as "the waterboarding segment of his program"). Technically, the President also has an obnoxious speech habit of whistling his "s"‘s which is like listening to a steel fork being scraped on a chalkboard for me.

Btw, imho Gov. Palin is at least his technical match with a teleprompter: Her convention speech, Indianola, the CPAC speeches, she has a masterful rhythm and cadence in those more formal settings where she decides to use a teleprompter, and is supremely talented at precise timing when she is using humor. It’s very easy on the ears to listen to that kind of talent. Every time I hear her speak in that formal mode I thank God that He has given her to us to express so clearly and powerfully what we feel politically and socially in each of our hearts.

Thanks for saying that, one of the reasons I love this site is that I don’t feel so politically "alone".

            • blackbird

I don’t post much Hope but your words moved me to comment. I even re-posted them on Breitbart’s post

I hope you are in good health Hope "the struggles I had with repeated mild illnesses last winter"

The Governor is one smart woman and very quick, I even like her voice, I can understand why some might find it a little too high pitch but I like it especially all of what she says :-)

To have your every word meticulously scrutinized and not one gaffe is remarkable considering not using a teleprompter.

How about her 2008 convention speech where her teleprompter broke quarter way through. That was a great speech, it was after that speech I started following her.

              Thanks for you comments Hope.

I agree with you. Listening to his voice rankles me. I cannot stand it. It doesn’t help, either, that he is ALWAYS either gloating or reprimanding us for something!

            • blackbird

Hi Shery, I agree "he is ALWAYS either gloating or reprimanding us for something!" and would add, the lies and the deception now contrast that to the Governor, she is honest, hard working, humble and honorable, a true servant to the people.

I believe Shery, Sarah Palin will be president one day just do not know which day and we will have the chance to do all we can to make that happen.

              Thanks for your comment Shery.

This, I wont even call him a EVIL .no matter how you cut it. He never mentioned the Murder of babies that creep BABY KILLER from penn. who they say killed babies out of the womb by cutting their spin at the back of their neck. One nurse said that someone threw a live baby in a toilet. I can hear these people who will be screaming in HELL for eternity. AFTER they meet GOD .and He cast them in the lake of fire.

  • blackbird

Abortion is Evil, the abortionist are Evil, those who support it are heartless only a blackened soul could ever say that Abortion is acceptable and justify it as "women’s health".

What has happened to Drudge – there is no mention of this inspirational post on his report – but yet he has references to obama – has he decided to diss the Governor?

    • Budvarakbar

I believe that he will get on it — Breitbart has it up with a pic

    • mder4thegov

Drudge has been bought and paid for…he’s part of the problem.
      Darn shame.

If time travel is ever invented, I will be first in line to volunteer to go back in time to Hawaii (or Kenya) in the late 50’s or early 60’s or so, to prevent Obama’s parents from ever meeting.

(Michelle Malkin was on top of this story well over a year ago. For those that don’t know the history of Planned Parenthood, it’s a shocking eye-opener)

As she wrote in her autobiography, Sanger founded Planned Parenthood in 1916 “to stop the multiplication of the unfit.”

This, she boasted, would be “the most important and greatest step
    towards race betterment
.” While she oversaw the mass murder of black babies, Sanger cynically recruited minority activists to front her death

She conspired with eugenics financier and businessman Clarence
Gamble to “hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with social-service backgrounds, and with engaging personalities” to sell their genocidal policies as community health and welfare services. Cont’d:

Planned Parenthood is an oxymoron. It’s really Planned Non-parenthood.

  • RedDaveR

Thank you Governor Palin for exposing the history of this culture-of-death organization.

  • blueniner

What a oxymoron today, (from the Moron in chief) after Obama addresses the Planned Parenthood today, and then in a parting word says "God Bless"……huh?

  • MarkRNY

There it is! The woman of Life speaks–Choose Life, Choose Death. It’s right in front of our eyes with these two. The smartest of our enemies know it, hence the relentless, frenzied assault.

I heard last night that O-Trocity was cancelling his PP keynote because of Gosnell (his excuse was that he wanted to spend time with Boston Marathon victims…what happened to them??). Apparently he’s too in PP’s Death Camp to refuse.

    Thank you Lady Sarah.

  • Ceejay

Halibut punch……. "Planned Parenthood" Culture of death, Obama and no support of babies born of botched abortions. Surely this organization can rise up to respect women in their need to respect the most promising ingredient we have on life, "human life"

    What a smackdown, whew…..go Governor!

  • MarkRNY

Can’t help thinking of these times in Lord of the Ringsian terms (because they are–all times are)–There stands Lady Galadriel, there stands the Mouth of Sauron (he’s too much of a wimp and a wuss to be Sauron himself). Galadriel could have bent him into a pretzel.

Lord of the Rings–fantasy that it is–might be one of the Truest books ever written on many levels. Of course the Left hate it and mock it–but the peeps love it! Most sold books of the 20th century. Funny how the Left hate and mock what the People love–and that gives me Hope!
