Governor Palin: I’ll Be on Greta’s "On the Record" Tonight, Updated: ‘I Was Forbidden from Telling the Truth About Obama in 2008′, Update II Gateway Pundit Comments and VIDEO Added

Via Facebook:

I’ll be on Greta’s "On the Record" tonight talking about Obama’s "phony scandals" claim. The Democrat Party’s leadership is obviously a lost cause, but take note that the GOP’s out of touch hierarchy is disappointingly not doing the job of calling Obama out and holding the media’s feet to fire, and consequently Obama gets away with claiming that these very serious government scandals are "phony." They have the mic, but they selfishly don’t use it to call out corruption and incompetence. They’d rather be "liked" by the media. This is a business to them, not a cause. Of course, ten second soundbites aren’t conducive to explaining all of this, but I’ll try.

– Sarah Palin

Be sure to tune in!

Click here for an exciting sneak preview of tonight’s interview that includes VIDEO.

Governor Palin brings her own "redneck version" of Karl Rove’s "elitist" whiteboard.

She also said:

“I was not allowed to talk about things like that because those ‘elitists,’  those who are the brainiacs in the GOP machine, running John McCain’s campaign  at the time said that the media would eat us alive if we brought up these  things.”

“What that got us, this kind of complacency and self-censoring of a campaign  where we weren’t allowed to tell the truth about who this candidate was – Barack  Obama – what it got us was a list of these scandals,” Palin charged.

A special sneak preview here.

"This is a business to them, not a cause."

Ka-boom! This is a real smack upside the head to the GOPe!

    • Sam I Am

Or an addiction as in the case of the real "warriors" against women like Weiner, Spitzer, Filner, Sanford and the women that encourage them, their "wives".

    • DocBarry1

Again, Say it Loud and Say it Proud – Governor Palin is number one – I hope and pray God Leads her to the Presidency in 2016

  • DocBarry1

I hope that Greta gives her a few segments or at least enough time to develop her points – this is serious

    The Governor’s notice says alot

I hope she calls for a Select Committee

  • Lennart Bilén

    Obama: “My scandals are phony”
    Obama is full of baloney.
    No, his scandals are real.
    I’m beginning to feel
Sarah Palin will ride Reagan’s pony.

    • Budvarakbar

what about the SOB’s PHONY BC

  • happymullah

    Yes, stay tuned. Finally!

  • happymullah

Is she at Fox station? Not in

    • BostonBruin

      Could be in Phoenix.

      • happymullah

You are right. Saw the background before.

    • hope4palins

The electronic response was much better than it would have been from AK. I like it much better when her schedule lets her do interviews sown here in the lower 48 for just that reason. She is very quick, and doing TV down here shows that better than when she is in AK imo.

  • Jthom26837

I’ll tune in tonight for ‘On The Record.’ I’ll do it to watch Sarah Palin, America’s Favorite Heroine. If She’s a no show, It will be a ploy to get the ratings up. A rather cheap, disgusting way of boosting ratings and I’ll be terribly upset.

    I Stand with Sarah Palin!!!

  • cudaforever

WOW !! Just WOW !! Getting my SarahPAC donation ready. She’s on fire !!

  • Tom Ferriday

I LOVE Sarah Palin. She’s got guts and spirit. The redneck white board! If only Jeff Foxworthy could hear that.

    • DocBarry1

      Say it Loud!

    • hope4palins

Watch for Rove to come on Hannity or BOR and go into full whine mode.

  • travelingon

"…They have the mic, but they selfishly don’t use it to call out
corruption and incompetence. They’d rather be "liked" by the media.>>"

Lesson for today, do not be a ‘brown noser’

    • DocBarry1

  • BostonBruin

So, she’s calling out the GOP for doing the same thing now that they did in 2008. They don’t want to stand-up to Obama because they’re afraid of the LSM.

The video makes me even more convinced that if Sarah runs for the Presidency in 2016, it will have to be as an independent. Game on!

  • misterlogic0013

love it .. 2014 we will talk about it. red neck = most Americans

  • RebinTexas

love it – Sarah is holding nothing back… prayers are with her. I
also pray that Sarah and Sen Cruz and Mark Levin and Sen Mike Lee and a
few others seriously consider asking US if we are now ready for the
Freedom Party. – I sure am..

    • DocBarry1

When is it time to say Enough – Boehner won’t even ok a Select Committee on Benghazi, he won’t stand up for the Constitution when Obama picks and chooses which law he will follow or which part of a law he will abide by –
Boehner is the weakest of weakest in the gop – how is he the leader – where is the uproar to replace this sell out – he talks tough and then folds just as quickly
He needs to be replaced before any vote on Immigration or the debt ceiling – he is a Fraud – but if the Repubs in the House do not revolt then they are with this sell out

  • DeeDEEthree

Looks like Rove and his Rino Establishment buddies heads are going to EXPLODE tonight.

This is going to be GREAT.

I am going to LOVEEEEEEEE THIS.
    I can’t wait.

  • cuatrocinco45

wonder if greta will ask her about the christie-paul dustup. would be nice to see her lay the smack down on him.

  • DocBarry1

This is one of the reasons why I hope and pray that God leads her to the Presidency.

When she runs – she will run a campaign with her people in her way – What a wonderful campaign it will be.

  • cuatrocinco45

I will say I’m not quite sure about her constant redneck identification. It’s not like she’s from Arkansas or the South or something. At this point she’s a very wealthy resident of either an exurb of Anchorage, or a well to do suburb of Phoenix, not exactly redneck territory. Even before the 2008 explosion of fame she was a solidly upper middle class suburban resident. It’d be interesting to go back to records from say 2006-2007 and see if she ever made any similar comments.

But, if that’s how she feels and identifies I guess that’s how it is. And, at least she doesn’t fake some southern accent or twang like when Hillary talks to black churches.

Also, if 13 years later folks are still talking about Rove’s washboard it must have made some kind of mark.

Notice how she seems to be referring to folks by last name only lately. Obama, Rove, Pelosi, etc… I like the feisty side.

    • 08hayabusa

She’s mocking the elite. The people, morons like Rove call redneck are really most everyday Americans. You know, fly over country.

      • unseen1

I always liked the term Reaganites. the middle class that still dreams the American dream. That still treasures liberty and freedom over a life of slavery. To the elites we are clueless we don’t see the infinite wisdom they have. To the poor we are a road block to their desire to soak the rich.

    • DocBarry1

To me, this was a sarcastic statement in support of the Tea Party – she is a strong voice for standing up for the Tea Party values – values that are attacked by the gope/rhinos and the LSM

    • Exgunman

Duck Dynasty shows that you can be wealthy and be a redneck……………………..:>)

      • cuatrocinco45

yeah, i guess she means it more in a general anti-elitist sense than in identifying as a Southerner.

    • happymullah

Wasn’t her theme song during the ’08 campaign Gretchen Wilson’s "Redneck Woman"?

    • unseen1

being a redneck is a state of mind not determined by your bank account.

    • PhilipJames

Always remember what redneck really means…. came from farmers working in the fields during the day and getting red necks from the sun… simple and real.

    • AZStandingBy

Where she is from they are referred to as Valley Trash, if you recall. Some one once described her as being from a nowhere place in a nowhere state. Meaning the Mat Su valley is not considered Alaska elite like Juneau and Anchorage. I think regardless of where you end up in life, your core is in where and how you grew up. I would say Sarah was lower middle class for most of her life. into her 30s.

    • Victoria Richardson

You can live anywhere and consider yourself a redneck not just in the south. She is also called a Hillbilly by the haters on the left for some reason, but she is proud of who she is.

  • TSM_Admin

I was wondering when she would be on FNC again. It was getting to be a big time gap there.

    • john norton

      Saving up her ammo… LOL

  • blueniner

I take it this was pre recorded. Karl Roves head is going to explode when he hears about Sarahs own "Redneck " white board…..Love it!……..Mark Levin tore into Rove again today, apparently Rove is raising money, and the Jeb Bush machine is out raising money for a possible 2016.

    • bucky321

jeb has as much chance as mittens

      • Budvarakbar

        Probably less

  • ChuckTX

Wow! Some people trying to censor what Palin was saying or telling her to shape up.
Glad nothing like that happens on this site.. Oh wait..

  • cuatrocinco45

Anyone else but me find it interesting how she’s said plenty of stuff about the folks who ran McCain’s campaign(Schmidt, Wallace, etc…) but I don’t think she’s ever said anything about him. I understand personal loyalty and all of that, but I hope she doesn’t still think that McCain was just some bystander who had no control or anything and just did what everyone told him to do.

If there were issues or problems during the campaign about her not being allowed to say certain things or raise certain issues or campaign in certain places…I’d suggest that McCain himself ultimately signed off on all those decisions.

They may not have originated with him, but he could have changed or vetoed them, and in the end he ended up agreeing with them.

It will be interesting to see if Greta brings any of that up and asks her about some of McCain’s more recent moves like voting for the amnesty bill, for the gun control bill, cutting deals with Obama, pushing for involvement in Syria, his dustups with the Paul/Cruz/Lee wing, etc… and what she thinks of them and what she would tell him.

    • DocBarry1

The Governor knows that it was McCain’s call – McCain said it publicly during the campaign that he ultimately made the call to stop this line of attack by the Governor.

      • Budvarakbar

The "great war hero" did not even have the balls to say obies middle name

    • hope4palins

Imo we have to read between the lines because neither one of them is going to attack the other by name. He knows she disagrees with him and vice versa, but for whatever reason(s) they don’t criticize each other directly and I don’t expect it to change.

    • lanahi

She isn’t going to personally attack the man…she’s loyal to a friend, though not to his political philosophies. We get the idea.

McCain said a few times during his campaign that he was told by "headquarters" to do this or that. Don’t know who controlled "headquarters". Bush, Rove?

    • Budvarakbar

hey she paid McLame back with her endorsement — and that was all — she did not appoint him as senator from AZ — the fools there voted him back in — since then she has come down on the opposite side from him on many items
