This poll is very dangerous and should be taken as a grain of salt. Without a viable Candidate(s) to lead the Party in 2014 and on to 2016, the Democrats are still lurking close by to strike. It’s a set-up as far as I am concerned to get the GOP over confident. They need a leader that is able to articulate a message or two and w/out that person I am not that confident. Right now, I don’t see that person.

    >>>>>Thanksgiving day, I listened to a rerun od Hugh Hewitt’s interview with Charles Krauthammer (Hewitt is not my favorite radio guy, but this one was interesting). Toward the end, Hewitt ticked off a number of possibly presidential candidates for 2016–Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Chris Christie, Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio, Mitch Daniels, And Scott Walker–and asked Chuck if any one of them could beat Hillary. He said anyone of them would beat Hillary. (I’m not certain that Krauthammer was right about that, but let’s assume for a moment that he is right. If he is then certainly Sarah Palin could beat Hillary.)
    >>>>>I don’t see anyone of the above mentioned having the one ingredient needed to win…charisma…Sarah has that and more and can rally the base, and the thing the Eastern Bloc Republicans can’t seem to get through their thick skulls is that they’ll need to get the base if they’re to win. Forget pandering to Hispanics as Michael Medved does. None of the above generates any enthusiasm among the base except for Ted Cruz or perhaps Rand Paul, and Scott Walker is a wild card. Get the right candidate and the proper Hispanics will vote the right way.
