Peggy Noonan has a piece today "our decadent elite" in which she writes "the earnest, the diligent, the idealistic, they have no place here"[DC].She writes further "no one wants to be the earnest outsider". She has,I think, unwittingly described Governor Palin,The earnest outsider, except that Sarah Palin is a fearless and proud "earnest outsider".Peggy Noonan will forever be a fool in my eyes, until the day she apologizes for her snarky, demeaning comments about Sarah Palin. She just didn’t have the sense to perceive Palin’s abilities and intentions and she had the mean spirit and stupidity to look down her nose at Governor Palin. Article is worth reading as is Daniel Greenfield’s terrifying "the green gulag".
