    My Dear Friends in Sarah,

Happy Tuesday to you all, and, for those who observe the day, Happy Feast of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist!

The Mighty Baptist gave to us for all time a witness—unto death—of "speaking Truth to power." He told the tyrant, King Herod, "It is not lawful for thee to have thy brother’s wife."

It is never easy to denounce tyrants—who hold the mace and might of raw power in their corrupt and sordid hands.

Let me, on this beautiful morning, say just a few words in gratitude to someone else who, in our time, has spoken truth to power—and DAMN the consequences.

What a beautiful life Sarah Palin of Alaska enjoys in her home State.

The marvelous television series "Sarah Palin’s Alaska," of four years ago, painted an indelible and unforgettable portrait in film for us of what Alaska is like, especially in all its majesty of the Months of the Midnight Sun.

    And yet …

… she has not retreated into the comfortable enjoyment of her PRIVATE life—an option which would be completely legitimate for her.

She has fearlessly—lo these past five-plus years now–denounced the tyrant, the usurper-in-chief in the Oval Office, for what he is!!

Beginning with her mighty "Lipstick" oration, her RNC VP acceptance speech on a wonderfully brilliant autumntide evening in 2008, she has prophetically and profoundly exposed hussein obama for what he seeks and represents.

The continuing revelations of the dastardly depths of the IRS and other scandals just serve to reveal all the more profoundly to us the COURAGE and patriotism of the Lioness of Alaska.

Look at the power the unscrupulous anti-American "president" wields!!

And yet she has not ceased, since ’08, to sound forth her clear and clarion denunciations.

I may cite the words from the classic Jimmy Stewart movie "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington."

    Because of one simple rule:

I think we may be sure that the great John the Baptist denounced Herod out of love for the Law of God and out of love of neighbor (the eternal soul of Herod).

So too, our dear and humble and bright and fearless and beautiful Governor has given to us a luminous and uplifting example of NEVER SURRENDERING TO TYRANNY.

Let us try to emulate The Baptist, Sarah, our Founders (versus King George III) and so many others whose names are written in immortal letters and lineaments of gold in the inspiring annals of Sacred (the Holy Bible) and secular history, and who have stood for the RIGHT …

… in spite of all personal peril and penalty and punishment to themselves.

    Have a great day!!

Ave frater fidelis eloquensque. Beautifully stated!

And like John the Baptist (already filled with Holy Spirit from his mother’s womb, according to Luke 1:15) Sarah Palin evinces a fiery zeal for and commitment to truth, no matter the ferocity of the opposition and the fiery darts hurled at her.

And for this we rejoice and thank God Almighty, our Heavenly Father.

I think these RINO SOB’s are likely to have all been in on the IRS targeting of the tea party groups — if not helping to initiate it – they certainly bought into it — The enemy of my enemy is my friend — the RINO establishment and the demo-commie-cRATS both were and are terrified of the tea party movement — and a certain lady from AK – who doubled down on them at Indianola and called out the corruption

BTW, guys, it was four years ago today, 24 June, 2010, that I went down to Turlock, California to be present at the Governor’s speech of 25 June at California State University-Stanislaus. It was their fiftieth anniversary. We all received autographed copies of her book Going Rogue at the dinner–and I spoke to her personally for a few wonderful moments!!

It was a marvelous speech that she delivered–on the TRADITION, in the literal Latin sense of "handing on"–on the "tradition" of America and her values to coming generations. There was a lot of Ronald Reagan in the oration, as I recall!!

    Poll closings tonight:

    FL – 7:00 PM Eastern
    MS – 8:00 PM Eastern
    OK – 8:00 PM Eastern
    NY – 9:00 PM Eastern
    CO – 9:00 PM Eastern

  • Cheetah444

    Good morning!

Big election today in MS! All I can say is that every poll but one conducted since the first election on June 3 has Chris McDaniel in the lead.Even some late-night number crunching done by a couple of consultants on twitter who looked at the absentee ballot requests for the run-off show McDaniel winning by 3-4.5 pts. Add to this the fact that the Cochran campaign has shown several signs of desperation in the last 48 hours or so and I think we’ll be celebrating tonight!

As for Oklahoma, they have the 50% run-off rule and it looks like that could happen between James Lankford and TW Shannon.

Other races to keep an eye on:

    1. MD CD-6 – Dan Bongino vs. Harold Painter in the Republican primary.

    2. NY CD-22 – Claudia Tenney vs. Richard Hanna. This election has gotten a lot of attention lately as another Brat vs. Cantor race. Hanna is the incumbent Republican who has one of the most liberal records in Congress.

    3. NY CD-13 – Charlie Rangel vs. Adriano Espaillat.

    4. FL CD-19 – This is the special election between Curt Clawson(R) and April Freeman(D). The winner will have to run again in the FL primary in August.

    5. CO – I think the two key races are the Republican governor’s primary (Tom Tancredo?) and the CD-4 House primary (Ken Buck?).

    • BrianusBerkleianus

      Thanks for the updates, Cheetah!!

    • PhilTan

Let’s hope for McDaniel win. Love how FAUX reports it as McDaniel being in a tight race to unseat an incumbent in MS. They don’t mention or say Cochoran is fighting for his political life or how McDaniel actually won the regular election. A bit biased.

      • c4pfan

        A bit?

    • John_Frank

Thanks for the update. Fingers and toes crossed for Chris McDaniel. Ultimately the only poll that matters is the one on election day. Know anyone who lives in MS, OK or MD CD-6? Make sure he or she gets to the polls today and votes for McDaniel, Shannon or Bongino as appropriate.

    • Christopher H Fromme

Looked up Harold Painter MD(CD-6) he has no website, raised no money & donates in the past to Democrats. This should be a cakewalk for Dan Bongino

Good morning. A number of items.

    1. For those who missed it, the writer recently posted God Bless America, or Allah?

"President Barack Hussein Obama’s policy to provide covert support to the Muslim
Brotherhood and other Islamic insurgent movements to carry out regime
change has been an unmitigated disaster."

Middle East Briefing has released another report, this one reviewing:

The United States and the Muslim Brotherhood Part 2: Egyptian MBs Got Special Status

In April 2012, as the Presidential decisions for Egypt were underway,
the U.S. Department of State and Department of Homeland Security granted
special status to an Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood delegation that came to the United States. At the time, under Presidential Study Directive 11 and Presidential Policy Directive 13, the Obama Administration was actively promoting the Muslim Brotherhood as a leading “democratic” force for change in a number of Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region countries, including Egypt, Tunisia, Syria and Libya. In many eyes, the MB visit to Washington “sealed the deal” that the MBs and “political Islam” would be the winners in the first election after the overthrow of Mubarak.

This visit went ahead despite the Supreme Guide of the Muslim Brotherhood having declared holy war against America and Israel in October, 2010 and one member of the delegation being on America’s watch list for terrorists, To say the rules were bent would be an understatement.

    The report closes as follows:

As MEB reported last week, it was not just the Egyptian Muslim
Brotherhood officials who were feted in Washington in April 2012. Another Muslim Brotherhood leader from Libya, Mohammed Gaair, was part of the same delegation. Gaair was the public affairs director of the Libyan Justice and Construction Party, the newly established MB political front. The Obama Administration used the April 2012 visits to signal the world that Washington was entering a strategic partnership with the global Muslim Brotherhood.

People will want to read the report.

    2. What is the state of the relationship between the White House and Prime Minister Netanyahu?

While forces with the Israeli Government are scouring Judea and Samaria looking for the three kidnapped teenagers, one of whom is an American citizen, we learn that the White House has cut off all ties with Israel’s Prime Minister.

In a piece titled Israel sees Palestinian unity as possible casualty of kidnapping Ben Caspit, a columnist for Al Monitor writes:

But the diplomat was also right because US-Israel relations — in particular, the relations between the White House and the prime minister’s office in Jerusalem — are at an all-time low, as discussed here in Al-Monitor last week. In this regard, one of the most knowledgeable and experienced people on the White House-Jerusalem axis, told Al-Monitor this week: “Never before has there been such a rupture between an American president and an Israeli prime minister. Right now, there is no communication between President Barack Obama and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The Americans do not want to hear from Netanyahu and the White House shuns any direct or intensive link with the Israeli premier.”

The senior official went further into detail and said the “hotline” that used to exist for many years between US presidents and Israeli prime ministers is out of service. But there’s more. Ron Dermer, the Israeli ambassador to Washington, is an unwelcome guest at the White House, and national security adviser Susan Rice would not meet with him at all. Messages are not being communicated regularly. There is no coordination or continuous and close communication. According to the
source, the only one who remains welcome at the White House and is able to relay messages is Netanyahu’s special envoy, attorney Yitzhak Molcho. For those needing a reminder, Molcho is a private attorney who is neither a civil servant nor an Israeli official, and whose offices Netanyahu uses on a personal basis. Apart from Molcho, the senior official added, nothing else is going on. A cold, hostile gulf separates the White House from the prime minister’s office in Jerusalem.

Has this breakdown had any bearing on the general relationship between the State of Israel and the United States of America? Not sure, but while the White House had the Department of Homeland Security break the rules to ensure a member of the Muslim Brotherhood, an organization which had declared war against America and who was on the terror watch list could get into the country, the White House has cut of all communications with the Prime Minister of the State of Israel.

    3. Shortly after midnight, the writer posted a comment containing links to articles on Iraq which the reader may find of interest. For those who missed it, go here to read the comment.

    4. Does ISIS have access to nuclear weapons?

Iraq invaders threaten nuke attack on Israel

Were would ISIS get such weapons? Pakistan. Very disconcerting report. Is the claim true? Hard to know, but people need to put aside their past assumptions.

Okay, that is it for now. May your morning be blessed.

P.S. I stand with Sarah Palin.

We are fond of using the epitaph, " the lunatics are running the asylum".
Mostly, we do so in jest.
However with the advent of the Obama/Marxist administrative era, that epitaph has become the truth.
Consider that the heads of most of the federal agencies are dems and dem donors, as are their chief aides.
Consider that the EPA has instituted outrageous regulations that target mostly conservative owned businesses, and especially power businesses such as coal in their drive to institute Obama’s FAILED green energy policy. Tens of thousands of coal miners are out of work.
Consider the NLRB. It almost ALWAYS rules against businesses and in favor of unions. As we have come to know over the past years, unions are anathema to stimulating a robust and growing national economy. And we wonder WHY our economy is falthering.
Consider that perhaps the most powerful agency of all, the IRS, has actively targeted conservative organizations, businesses, and associations at the behest of the Obama/Marxist admin.

Now, let us take a long hard look at the Congress of the United States. A majority of those now seated in both chambers either actively voted for ObamaCare, or sat quietly by and allowed it to pass. MANY repubs DO NOT want to abolish ObamaCare, but want to modify it instead. WE, the People have NOT been consulted. We are EXPECTED to go along with whatever decision our BETTERS decide.
And how about last years Armed Forces Bill, passed not so much to fund and enhance our peerless Armed Forces, but to deny Constitutional rights to citizens. For instance, YOU can be arrested on suspicion, detained without charge, denied access to an attorney, and be held indefinitely.
Your home is no longer your castle either. The police can kick in your door and hold you and your family at gunpoint. The IRS and other federal agencies can enter your home while you are away, WITHOUT a judicial warrant, and NOT let you know they were ever there. Are you and your family away from home a lot? Can you say with CERTAINTY that your home is not bugged? CAN YOU?!!

In the cause of "keeping America safe from harm", as practiced by both repug and dem admins, we have quietly become a subservient population to our federal government, and many state and city governments. Obama and his folks have taken what was started in previous admins dating back to Bush 41, and in every admin since, and applied the principle of federal subjugation over the population with an elan and intensity never before seen in a government.

We call ourselves a CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC. Can you find it? Are the principles of the Constitution active and alive in your life and that of your family?
Do you even RECOGNIZE the present day America as anything other then a soft tyranny by republican and democrat elites? Are YOU sharing in the nations wealth, or is it still flowing towards those at the very top of society and government? Are your taxes going DOWN or UP?
How about your health costs? Mine are through the roof! Before ObamaCare I could afford to deal with my advanced heart disease. Now, not so much.

Do you AVOID spanking your kids because you don’t want to go to jail? Are you in control of your childrens education, or has that been taken out of your hands by political hacks in the schools and school boards?

Welcome to America, circa 2014, under the fist of a growing totalitarian government.

    • dave7777

As always, VG, you present an accurate, and dire, picture. The horrible truth is that there is no effective resistance… fight back. We have no active leader. We need one. I am in hopes that after November, Sarah Palin will come out and declare, if not her candidacy, at least her willingness to lead the tea party forces, openly, and with an organization that formally embraces all fifty states. There are many of us who stand at the ready.

      • virginiagentleman1

Hello Dave. It is my opinion that conservatives are finally awakening from their self-imposed slumbers.
The effective resistance MUST come from the soul of each and every one of us, FIRST. I’m not sure that this is a 50 states thing so much as it is a ‘Personal Resistance’ my dear friend.
Resistance to tyranny never starts as an organized and wide spread evolution, but as an emotion and a thought within each of us.
Yes, when a leader appears who has the integrity, character and honesty, the resistance then becomes organized.
Now, I feel that Palin has been leading, along with Cruz, but neither as much as they could be doing.

It will be interesting to see what surprises are on the near horizon, who wins elections in the mid-terms, and whether or not Sarah Palin will announce her desire to run for POTUS 45. In Palins case, I really don’t expect her to announce before Spring/Summer of next year as she is still involved in campaigning, consensus building, and fund raising. But yes, I DO expect that she is running. Frankly, in my opinion, she is running for the job NOW, right this minute. Why? Because of all that she is doing presently, along with her increasingly virtriolic attacks aimed at obama, his admin, AND the republican party that seems to have lost their courage to stand for the citizens of the Republic.

        • dave7777

Here is my practical concern….we have over two years for this lawlessness to continue. It’s simply not enough to point out the transgressions, which is so eloquently being done by Palin and others, but nothing of substance is being done. No one is going to jail. People lie under oath, making a mockery of these endless hearings. In the meantime…..crime goes on.

          • virginiagentleman1

My friend, we have NO ONE in government who seems to give a damn!
Eric Holder, the AG? Silent as a dead man. You are right, crime continues as long as this admin and prez remain in power.

          • Budvarakbar

weepie johnnie is standing in the way — I believe the RINOs were all co-opted by either participating at the beginning or at least buying into the IRS targeting of the tea parties. I wonder how many of the ‘missing’ emails ended up at RINO computers?

et tu Rove? — wonder where he fits into this?

        • hope4palins

What she is doing is remarkably similar (in some ways) to Nixon’s path to political rehabilitation after his back-to-back losses to JFK in ’60, to Moonbeam’s Dad in ’62 and then a disastrous "retirement" press conference: He crisscrossed the country in ’66 stumping for Republicans in the mid-terms. The Republicans made major gains in those elections, LBJ was not pleased, and Nixon was already by that time running, just not declared. His participation in those mid-terms was part of his plan for ’68. There are a lot of differences: Palin is doing what she is doing as much out of her passion for our Cause whereas Nixon was executing a strategy to advance his own prospects. That said, the strategy worked in ’66; Gov. Palin undoubtedly is aware that helping people and Leading this Movement, if successful, would give her a solid platform of folks who could help her both get elected AND govern as a Constitutional Conservative.

The strategy worked in ’66 and it’s still a good strategy, else the Rovians wouldn’t be trying so hard to minimize the effect of her support.

Rep. Jim Jordan: ‘At What Point Does It Become Obstruction of Justice?’

At the point of Comrade Obama’s inauguration!

  • 1776er

Was listening to Rush on the car radio yesterday. He was analyzing Obama’s talk to some women’s group about how an attack on women is an attack on families….yadda, yadda, yadda.

What left Rush flabbergasted was the fact that here we have a President who has been in office for nearly 6 years now —who could DO something–but never does. Instead all he does is COMPLAIN about stuff day in and day out. He said this is part and parcel of the Limbaugh Theorem that Obama needs to be in constant campaign mode so he is constantly running—against himself and the failures of his own Administration!!!

I thought no Rush you have this wrong. You are being too kind to this guy. What this guy does—day in and day out— is not simply COMPLAINING and WHINING about America. What he does day in and day out is DIVIDE America. He is AGITATING America in campaign mode a la Alinsky in some way each and every day.

He does it deliberately. He works at Divide and Conquer America each and every day. He sees it as his calling in life. Admittedly he is very good at it.

This is, of course, EVIL IN ACTION. His daily agenda is evidence of Evil intent.

Rush gives the man too much credit. Complaining isn’t EVIL. Deliberately DIVIDING the Country is EVIL.

Now what prompts me to reflect on this is an article to one of my favorite political writers—Wesley Pruden in the Washington Times.

Obama and a world on fire

Pruden, like Rush, gives this man too much credit. Seems this is a growing blind spot of many observers of Obama’s increasingly bizarre actions. It is a kind of confusion or a way to soothe our fears. He isn’t really EVIL just INCOMPETENT. This from Pruden this morning:

"Incompetence breeds incompetence, and eventually the slowest-witted among us recognizes the man who not only doesn’t know what he’s doing but won’t listen to those who do. His earnest ignorance blights everything he touches. Even yellow-dog Democrats are growling.

By all accounts Barack Obama is a nice man, decent, attractive, a faithful husband, devoted father and highly intelligent. He no doubt means well, by his lights, blinkered by ideology. He’s just not very smart.

Like a lot of liberals, he has learned a lot of things that ain’t so, and is eager to apply them. He learned, as the hyper-educated often do, to mistrust experience and common sense. Only such a sage, armed with prodigious book-learning, will sit down on a red-hot stove twice (if that’s where the textbook tells him to sit)."

See what I mean here? Obama is a nice man, decent, attractive, a faithful husband, devoted father and highly intelligent. HE NO DOUBT MEANS WELL.

No he doesn’t Mr. Pruden. He doesn’t mean well at all. He means EVIL. You give him too much credit Mr. Pruden. You are in denial about the essence of this Psychopath as are so many of our fellow citizens.

This man spends his days pitting one group of Americans against another. With Evil intent not just Incompetent leadership skills. He lies with scorn for his victims and his enablers and –as we see in the IRS case and this astounding liar Koskinen, his sycophantic spokespeople like Jay Carney and other soulless paid for help–the lies are with impunity as nobody can seem to muster the will to do a thing about it.

Pruden really doesn’t seem to get it:

"Every week the president has his latest very bad week. Benghazi is a nightmare that won’t go away. A screw-up in Syria is followed by cock-up in Ukraine followed by calamity in Iraq followed by the prospect of catastrophe with Iran. If the president was praying for a distraction from all these foreign woes, his prayer has been answered by convulsion along the nation’s border with Mexico. The president’s complicity in the convulsion is clear to everyone but him. Or maybe to him, too. This may be the way to the transformation of America he promised to a gullible electorate yearning to be fooled in 2008."

Was What happened last week a very bad week as Mr. Pruden concludes or perhaps his very best week. Depends on your perspective. Depends on what your objectives are. Depends, if you are the President, on what you are defending and what you are trying to accomplish.

This man Obama is trying to Divide America in order to keep it Conquered. Last week was a very good week for him. Maybe his best week.

Incompetence? This is most definitely not Incompetence. Here is somebody who is sailing toward an outright recognition–but not quite–that what we are looking at is DELIBERATE EVIL. But I fear even she, in this clip, accords the man a wee bit too much credit.

I don’t give him too much credit. I give him the credit he is due.

    • virginiagentleman1

It is true. Obama complains about everything! Hey, it is the ONE thing that he is actually good at!

      Deliberate evil? Without question!

      • 1776er

As Kelly says in her clip:

"The very danger the Constitution was designed to avoid"
