“Curiouser and curiouser!” Cried Alice (she was so much surprised, that for the moment she quite forgot how to speak good English).”
It seems like everyday we are learning something very shocking and disappointing about the "constitutional conservative" Senator Ted Cruz. Today is no different. Unfortunately, today we must ask ourselves a very horrible question: Does Ted Cruz want to arrest all the gay people?
As we learned yesterday, Ted Cruz, his associations, and his advisors, are not constitutional conservatives. Today is no different. It has come to our attention that yet another Ted Cruz insider is speaking in a way that is the opposite of what Cruz says to his supporters.
A couple of hours ago, Ted Cruz cancelled campaign events in Mississippi. These events have been heavily promoted by Cruz insider: Bryan Fischer. We’ll get to Mr. Fischer in a minute. The Cruz campaign said that the senator is not feeling well. We should sort of believe his campaign that Ted Cruz is sick. Sort of. Ted Cruz didn’t look so well the other night on TV, and presidential campaigns can be grueling. But it is very convenient for Ted Cruz to distance himself from Bryan Fischer. Here’s a video of Mr. Fischer advocating for Ted Cruz:
However, Bryan Fischer also advocates for something else. Mr. Fischer advocates for the United States to mimic the Russian criminalization of homosexuality laws:
Arresting gay people doesn’t sound very constitutional to us. This pattern of Ted Cruz telling his supporters one thing, and then surrounding himself with people who say a different thing is troubling to say the least.
