When we use the actual 2010 figures for turnout, PPP’s heavily-biased result of 50-39 become Palin 42%, Obama 46.5%. Palin leads 42-40 among independents. The good news for Palin is that, in the poll, almost all of the Democrats are decided, and just 7% aren’t sure if they would go for Obama or Palin. As is normally the case, the undecideds for the challenger are much higher and 14% of Republicans are unsure. Meanwhile, a solid 18% of Independents are not sure.

Taking back control of the House last year was only the first step. Now you and I must fix our eyes on 2012. Our goal is to take back the White House and the Senate. We must take back control of Congress and the White House in order to undo the damage done by the disastrous Obama/Pelosi/Reid agenda.

And if he's not willing, Greta, to engage in some of these tough issues that have to be addressed, then it's all the more reason for Government to just step aside. Get out of the private sector's way. Don't monetize debt. Don't engage in more quantitative easing. Don't look at more bailouts and more stimulus-type funding and more deficit spending. Just get out of the way and let the private sector start growing and thriving and let the private sector get the economy back on the right track.

Again, the deadly combination is the cost of oil going up with the devalued dollar that the federal government does have control of. You combine those two and unfortunately there’s not a real bright-light at the end of the tunnel here in the very near-future.

Both stakeholders in re-distributionist schemes, those riding in the wagon (as opposed to those pulling it) and their benefactors in the public sector workforce, see it in their self-interest to perpetuate a system that rewards wealth destruction rather than wealth creation.

Palin "does very well in the 30 to 44 age group (20 percent). That is a group that votes, and the group that polls show are most unhappy about the current political and economic situation."

Thomas Sowell | Obama’s Trump Card Radio-talk-show host Mark Levin has rebroadcast Trump’s varied and mutually contradictory statements on political issues and personalities over the years. It was a devastating revelation of Trump’s “versatility of convictions,” to use a phrase coined long ago by Thorstein Veblen. So then what is Donald Trump’s appeal? And why […]

I would also ask you to better explain your thinking on Libya. We can’t afford any actions that don’t take care of crucial U.S. needs and meet our own interests at this point. You are the Commander in Chief, so please explain what you believe is our “interest” there and not elsewhere.
