In the 1980s, Ronald Reagan worked tirelessly to clean up Carter’s malaise and restore America’s spirit, economy and international standing, and his success in that endeavor ranks him as one of America’s greatest presidents. If Governor Palin runs for president in 2012, she will essentially have to perform the same task.
