Ari Fleischer et al would do well to remember the crowds Governor Palin drew on the campaign trail in 2008: 60,000 to the Villages in Florida, 20,000 to a rally in Fairfax, Va. Do they really think that THESE folks won’t be back to the Palin rallies?

Senator Rand Paul is thankful for Governor Palin’s support of his proposed budget cuts. These cuts are needed to address the present fiscal situation and America’s financial future and security.

Being an Englishman and a political junkie I watch BBC Newsnight regularly. As with the US networks the BBC has an inbuilt left/liberal bias but, although you could never get an Obama/Clinton style love-in for Governor Palin, the recent Newsnight profile of her was reasonably fair.

Funny how the media are quite selective when filtering news items about Governor Palin. Not much was made last week about her latest Gallup Poll figures or the India trip but recent remarks by Governors Christie and Haley are bounced around the media like shreds of lettuce in a tossed salad.

Thomma attempts to highlight almost every meme directed against Governor Palin by cherry picking poll results and comments from GOPers. However, campaigns are run by creating one’s own narrative, and campaigns are won by the voices of the whole of the electorate, not a small portion.

As Governor Palin has noted, you can’t win the future by inappropriately addressing spending, ignoring entitlement reform, and increasing federal education spending that should be addressed at the state and local level. However, President Obama’s budget does all of those things.

If Governor Palin becomes President Palin she will be right at home amid the men who previously served. As the author of two best-selling and well-received books, President Palin would rightfully join the ranks of the genuine author-presidents.

There has only ever been, and can only be, one answer to a lie, big or small. The truth. And there is only one person in the contemporary political ambit capable of finally and effectively embodying and enunciating a Big Truth to compete with the culture of the Big Lie. The same person the Left itself has, without knowing it, nominated.

Submission by Rob Miller Dear Governor Palin; I realize that you have plenty of practice in exercising grace under fire, (it’s one of the qualities I admire about you) but the latest idiocy over your use of the term ‘blood libel’ may set even you back a bit. You have nothing to apologize for. As [...]

Palin was not the first to characterize the liberals dumping the blood of innocents onto her head and the heads of others who dare to voice disagreement with Obama as a “blood libel.”

Since her national political debut at the Republican convention, in which she merrily skewered the Left and its hitherto pristine messiah, Sarah Palin has exemplified once-in-a-generation, maybe once-in-a-century, qualities of political leadership

” Credentialed ignorance is still ignorance” – Thomas Sowell Another one of the memes that has been swirling about over the past two plus years is that Governor Palin is stupid and embraces anti-intellectualism. This meme was pushed especially hard last week. Barbara Walters twice brought up that people see Governor Palin as “uninformed” in [...]

We are all well aware of the numerous examples of yellow journalism that has been printed about Governor Palin over the past 2+ years, but following the midterm elections just a month ago, it seems that more and more liberal pseudoconservative political analysts have added another hue to their palate and engaged in “green” journalism. The American Spectator has a great piece today addressing the “she’s too dumb” meme that has swirled about the political atmosphere over the past two plus years. The author highlights how time-and-time again, this argument has been used against Republicans and some Democrats throughout America’s political history, including Barry Goldwater, Gerald Ford, George Washington, and [...]

Last night I finished reading Governor Palin’s newest book, America by Heart. It was a wonderful, encouraging, challenging read.
